I think I am in good position sir because I have my investment timeframe & this means do mitvreally have focus on shirt term price.
Think lot of things change when big Institution / Fund start to take position & bigger private investor who understand development plan where company heading.

Doc 83 : "If there is a positive or negative RNS, for example, the signature or a cash raise, the SP will shoot wildly in one direction or the other."
Yes - but that's only half the story. If you were looking at charts then you would see how pronounced the spikes have been after an RNS. Yes, the price can shoot up in a day back to let's say 8 or 10p, but then in the next few days it can come back down again to say 4p. Have you never asked yourself why this happens time and time again ?
I read the comments every day of people day trade small cap Nasdaq tech stocks, and every day there are huge % movers upwards on ' news ' which they trade to surf the wave - but often the price then jack-knifes down just as suddenly on a flood of supply as people exit. Each day there are a number of Nasdaq stocks which do this, and always on ' news. ' The day traders are using their scanners every morning without fail for big % gainers on high volume, and are making their scalp trades off the back of it. Then the next day they move on to the next % gainers on ' news...' They don't really care what the company does - only that there is a new release on that day which creates high volume.
Who benefits when MATD starts pumping oil?
China= imports oil refine and resell it back to Mongolia =profit.
Mongolia government = get tax on oil production+ in near future Mongolia becomes oil self sufficient + MATD may find more oil discover which can be exported to china.
Locals= get help from petromatad.
Stronger petromatad a bigger role it can play in Mongolia whether finding more oil discovery which can help Mongolia/china.
For those reasons I can only see LP granted a matter of time.
And if we get an RNS announcing fundraise at 1.5p you can buy at that level.
This is aim. The world of fundraising, hope, missed promisses and where your starting trading position should be short...
The follow the garbage "research " on LSE to trade around the short on sentiment and bit of technicals.
Shorting is less risky (on aim) then long if your risk management is in order. Cheers. See you tomorrow at RNS time ;)
"Anyway, as the charts seem to tell you everything, will the SP be higher or lower by Friday? "
I don't care about price action on a daily basis when there is no ' news. ' It's when volume increases that the real action happens. Right now there is support at between 2.8p to 3p - like I said, in periods of low volume the MMs are happy to take it back down to deeply entrenched support levels. If there is a positive RNS, then there will be another spike to between 8p to 10p very likely, so that will be the opportunity to exit that you are now waiting for....
“I don't really mind you - some of your input is quite useful. I don't think you deserve the flak that you get on here.”
LOL. So you’re happy that WOS goes over to other boards criticising and mocking them? And you think the fact he tries to belittle anyone and everyone who has an alternative view is all good?
Anyway, as the charts seem to tell you everything, will the SP be higher or lower by Friday?
Both need a lot of words to say exactly nothing.
One on "fundamentals" other "technicals"
Investor - that definition of a “weakholder” is a new one on me. Point me to where I can read up on it.
You can talk about charts all you want. If there is a positive or negative RNS, for example, the signature or a cash raise, the SP will shoot wildly in one direction or the other. If there’s no news, it will drift off, just as it’s doing. There’s no scratching of the head from me.
Doc83 is a very annoying person I have to agree WOS.
I don't really mind you - some of your input is quite useful. I don't think you deserve the flak that you get on here.
As tactful as ever I see Doc83. FYI a ' weakholder ' is someone who is locked in, as they bought in below the current price level, and doesn't want to exit with a loss. Usually they've been locked in for quite a long period of time. So they hold on until they are no longer underwater, and then on the next spike driven news they exit as fast as they can with a great sense of relief - maybe if they are lucky with a bit of profit. This is a big supply factor when the price suddenly spikes - as it has done on every single MATD RNS release to date. Add to that the high level of supply when the traders make their exit with a quick profit, then you can see why the price can jack-knife very hard after the spike.
In fact you have already announced on here that you will want to exit for good on the next move up - so your comment merely shows that you don't understand what I wrote. You have already said that you know nothing about charts, and it's obvious to me that you have no idea at all about how price action happens with these kind of volatile penny stocks. The pros behind their trading desks would just smile at your total lack of understanding of the basics such as support and resistance levels etc and other technical indicators which they spend every day studying for any stocks which interest them.
To date, the price action with MATD has nearly all been driven by short terms traders, with ' investors ' like you scratching their heads as to why the highly volatile price behaves the way that it does....If you did look back at charts you would clearly see that in the months after an RNS, the price always drifts lower to very well defined support levels on low volume. This last time since the late Dec RNS has been no different at all.
Like when you was talking share down in multiple multiple post every day - but secretly BUYING! 😂
You get caught out when your cannot help boasting after and then say "all fair in love & war" lol.
Look in mirror first Mr Doc!!
🦉
“or when long term weakholders (like Doc ) decide to exit with some profit.”
Me?! Sadly, I’ve been long all the way MATD. I wish I had been a “weak” holder and sold out on the peaks over the many years I’ve now been here.
Oh, and Investor33, you don’t half talk some utter bo11ox!
BP - personally I don't believe for one minute that there will be a smooth upward trend if the next RNS confirms that all is sorted. These kind of small cap penny shares just don't behave like that, nor do they do this on the Nasdaq.
Whatever the next RNS says, expect huge price volatility to continue. If it's good news, then expect algos to be triggered, traders to be alerted when they see how much % MATD is up on the day, and then watch them pile out when they have made their quick gain. We've seen this happen time and time again on an RNS release - a large spike up, and then back down again just as dramatically when the trading desks sell en masse, or when long term weakholders (like Doc ) decide to exit with some profit.
On the other hand you can get shorters ( supposedly like Professional ) who might be leveraged, and are ' short squeezed ' with margin calls, meaning that they have to buy back quickly, which can then send the price spiking even higher. Often they place their short trades near previous resistance levels, which are very well defined with MATD. Either way, it all results in volatility. The problem is that some people think that buying a penny stock is like buying Shell or some other blue chip. Having said that, anybody who bought Rolls Royce shares a in late 2022 would already have a 500% multi-bagger, without ever having to worry about Mongolian land laws.
Happy to wait for that
Researchandhold said //BP is like stain on humanity//
WOS and other rampers would have it that once the LP is signed that is the final hurdle before PM reaches the sunny uplands and all is plain sailing for a bright and lucrative future. Sadly that's no true.
"shooting up sometimes by several 100 % in just a few hours, or even minutes." I meant. I don't like proof reading on Sunday mornings !
I certainly wouldn't like to be short on a penny share, watching with a sinking feeling as it goes against me, and then getting margin calls from my broker...That's pressure. No margin calls if you are not leveraging either way, long or short, with say CFDs.
This sounds familiar, paragraph from the article, " Orano said in an emailed statement that talks are continuing and that authorities have expressed strong motivation to finalize the agreement" " as soon as possible" are we not in the same position?🤔 GLA
@Cybertron.
Regarding ' Professional ' I follow Nasdaq small cap stocks very closely these days, and watch the volatility in real time when news breaks every single day with numerous Nasdaq tech stocks. They are incredibly volatile - shooting up sometimes by several 100 % in just a few hours more even minutes. Sometimes they keep going up, sometimes they jack-knife back down heavily after the rise It's hard to know. What you do know is that they are highly volatile.
I head that some shorters in Nasdaq stocks have wiped themselves out completely when the price action went against them. Even with a stop, the slippage can be incredibly high if the prices is moving fast. At least going long you don't have unlimited risk, which you do going short. Nobody in their right mind would be shorting highly volatile penny shares like MATD - what happens if you are in short at 5p with £50,000 worth of shares, and it suddenly flies up to 30p in a few days?
Hamm. WOS. Its your money, so you ignore the article and its relevance if you want to. Fine by me 👍
PsWOS I said " don't play dumb" and not "you are dumb".
You often "play dumb" i.e. act as if you fail to see the relevance of facts or circumstantial evidence when they don't fit your narrative, but yet you are happy to endorse a fb post by a fb poster with no fb posting history.
Is that clever? 🤔 😏
Hamm/WOS - where have I said uranium deals and oil deals aren’t different? But the article also clearly talks about oil prices and Russia’s now preferential treatment of Mongolia. And the question is why would Russia, who give nothing away for free, now be treating them preferentially?
The hard fact is: we are still not producing oil despite our best efforts.
But next week is the week, right??? 🤔
Can't you see the difference between oil self sufficient Mongolia and uranium supply to france?
We have already had government permit. Need fund released to get local permit.
Who is playing fool, really!
My point in 09:17 post very clear - why do you need to start name calling straight away?
"Why do certain people need to use derogatory terms" - your post few days ago.
Be Wise 🦉
WOS dont play dumb. The article value is that it highlights the political environment at play in Mongolia, which including debates around protection of natural resources and evidences delays due to elections that is of interest. You can't assess an investment environment in isolation from the political and economic environment. (Well you can! but it would be a fool that did).
WOS - Is that in response to my post?
