Looks like it will not last ask is creeping up.
Could well be A wed Appointment next. They own 29% here and a new beginning for MAGP
back to sails and wimd power then lol, I thought I read that WED is into wind
The more I think about the 2040 deadline to stop producing petrol and diesel the more I am convinced that we have a bunch of nit-wits in government. Has anyone thought about the millions of small craft around our shores and other countries. Everyone uses an auxiliary diesel engine to assist the boat handlers. How would we charge up the batteries when on anchor or if a marina was not available. Right rant over for today let's get down to business of getting SS Maggie to the land of milk and honey before 2040 otherwise we won't be able to continue our journey without diesel. lol
smidsy I have just patented the turbo two hamster wheel that generates extra power when the little fellas run round and can give you and extra 1 mile per hamster ;-D. The only thing is where do I store the little buggers Nuts to make them run round the wheel.
Hi Robsky. That's it then lets organise a bus to take us over there. Those holding bus passes go to the front of the queue. (he he that's me). Do we have any PSV drivers on board?
Good morning, the daily commute to Ok would be to much for me to cope with in between grandchildren sitting however would love to visit broken arrow .
Re my rant from yesterday. todays joke is that if everyone bought an electric car the government would have to build five extra power plants the size of Hinckley Point just to charge the vehicles. And the new Hinckley Point is years away yet. LOL You really couldn't make it up.
Hi Gd7. It would have to be someone from WED. I believe that good Scotch whisky is hard to find in 'Broken Arrow' only Bourbon available so wouldn't suit Robsky. lol
Morning smidsy Who is your money on for the replacement ??? Someone from WED or Mr Robsky for the chair :-)
Ron Harwood is retiring ;-)
Morning maggots I suppose we can look at it one less mouth to feed. Keeps the overheads down.
Bakoven, thank you for posting that useful link. When taking my first look at MAGP, a few years ago now, I very much saw Rita as being in the driving seat. Over time SOS has seemly increased his presence by taking a more prominent role, in my view, with Rita becoming rather less visible. From a distance I was forming the opinion that although there appeared to be common understanding on strategy SOS and Rita’s views were increasingly at odds, and SOS was becoming mostly resistant to Rita’s initiatives. Certainly, I think this is particularly true in respect of the minuscule participations, as you put it, that have been a constant frustration to me as well, and I’m sure for many other shareholders. Rita is already showing energy and determination to move things forward positively and at a pretty rapid pace; it’s as if the shackles have been removed at last. It’s early days but the signs as to the speed and direction of travel are encouraging to me, I like and approve of the steps taken so far, and although I should know better, I’m increasingly optimistic as to the shape of things to come. What would be appreciated is a greater transparency of what is happening on the ground and results that are more meaningful, timely and posted more regularly.
Rita seems to be earnestly preparing Maggie for the voyage of her life by ensuring she is seaworthy and in the strongest financial shape in order to take full advantage of the opportunities that the WED relationship is sure to deliver. With a following wind, there should be some exciting times ahead. So, maybe I’m missing the point or reading it all wrong but the plan now unfolding would surely have been hatching for some time; the financial benefit of the "consultancy" trial was certainly lauded up at the time. Given the apparent growth potential here, it leaves me somewhat perplexed as to the sense, and rationale behind the action taken by SOS, his chosen running mate and its timing.
lotx of UKOG monies around. sellers clearing out
Hi GD7, check out the history on the author of the article. It is rather interesting.
Morning it looks to me like she is liquidating a lot of assets, many of these wells had an operator change when Devon Energy sold them to whitestar and the taps were turned down during the low POO period this will have starved us from cashflow at a critical time. Same goes for the CLR sympson wells while potentially highly productive that investment has so far not produced any oil but the the investment in itself has and profit is profit.
The Transport Minister reckons he has the answer to the pollution problem he is going to remove all of the speed humps. ha ha Where do they get these guys?
Whilst I am having my little rant think about this cos the Chancellor has not. where will he make up the lost revenue on the taxes imposed on fuel. How will he tax us for charging our cars whilst plugged into a socket at home?
What happens to the worlds oil markets, producers etc, etc. Diesel and petrol vehicles banned. No one using most of the oil products. What about ships and planes. A plane the size of a jumbo jet just to carry the battery would be required. ha ha . The worlds leaders are thumping their desks and saying after 2040 no more exhaust gases from vehicles. You couldn't make it up.
30% free float and a turnaround in progress. New 29% shareholder and a strategy to turn company around. A few sells today and if it falls to 0.1-11p
