Frustrating to see this share losing 0,7 to 1,5% per day, now for almost 3 weeks. Would be a clear sign if management would buy some shares to show their support. I know they already own quite some % of shares; but the signal to the market would be appreciated.
i've been following this share for quite a while now & looking at taking a position here as the falls seem well overdone. All the fundamentals seem pretty sound. No financial woes or anything particularly concerning. I suspect one of the big holders is/has been reducing/exiting their position as the price movements all seem well controlled too. The bid/ask seems to widen & narrow here in a bizarre manner too. Keeping an eye. def will get in if it goes sub 70!
Insanity just keeps on coming day after day, with that I can absolutely agree. I just hope someday this will turn and it will turn to extreme upside. Considering the last announcement talked about growth and by 2024 a massive market for online communications
Now is definitely not the time to follow the crowd - this dog will have its day, imho. But I share that attitude with a lot of my investment currently, not just Loop. Be greedy whilst others are fearful and all that.... On another note, watch Boris Johnson's response when asked at today's 5pm conference whether staff should continue to work from home - for a man who normally tries to avoid a question, he spoke firmly about how we should all be taking every opportunity to have our meetings virtually. It's the dawn of a new era - one which was being ushered in pre-covid but has only been hastened because of it - and LoopUp will have its place
Part of me does get quite annoyed that the board aren't coming out and saying any of this.................. or in fact anything.....
Mike/ Steve - you guys alive?
CHRI55 - perhaps that's why it's dropping back, but I don't think so. The reason I think this is dropping back is:
- There's an "enlightened" majority who think we're out of the Covid woods (the "Corona will not exist in England from August" crowd) and that by consequence LoopUp's purpose is eroding [moronic in my view - almost as moronic as arguing it never had a purpose before corona;
- Linked to the above, no one knows which way the compass is pointing at the minute so lots of people are getting behind momentum stocks/ companies that might benefit from some huge reopening or corona victory/ defeat;
- The board doesn't push any sort of thought leadership/ communicate their intention, plan, vision... so LoopUp sits gathering dust because Mike + Steve don't actively tell the world what their ambitions are and enable others to feel confident or passionate about their plans too - i.e. they don't tell people why they should buy into the idea by looking them in the virtual eye;
- All of the above leaves everything a bit up in the air!
The board of directors did give a fantastic update back in March. Where visions of growth and huge potential in the next three years after Covid. My gripe is who is selling all the shares and why have we not had any holding up dates. Yes some stocks are dead and don’t trade very much, but this one is unbelievable. Shouldn’t be Getting hammered day in and day out like it is doing
Exactly. Bojo right (no pun) .
Chri55 - the schmardian was tongue and cheek
Bigboo2 - you forgot the no 1 reason: leases have been cancelled and peeps have moved to the sticks. They can’t , or at least very costly, to go back.!!! New world indeed.
The Shorting not helping of 2.1% been in place since November , anyway we have had no TR1 selling so follow the bread crumps. To be fair the directors hyped this up 3 years ago then got caught out on future earnings , now they are conservative and share still dives. Markets never forget , in this case there is something we are missing add all the shares sold and bought in Loopup and you be shocked as it would appear that many bought and sold at a lose.
The CEO in a email did report this up-to the end of 2020
morning all.............. still struggling here and where are those agreed but not yet signed contracts that were promised in March..... some news please BoD !!....................year lows.....wtf........B
