The small trade at 12:47 was a friend and definitely a buy. Why’s it marked as a sale? The others look like buys to going by the price
Very interesting article.
Thanks for posting.
I agree !!
The only thing required here for us investors is patience.
There will be steady continued growth both by acquisition and natural increased market share.
Another great acquisition on Friday with the purchase of Delta. 29% up on Forecast for 2021, Valley Wholesale is shaping up to be an awesome purchase and expect an imminent dividend to boot!
Get in Likewise!
correct, weak links are there if you look
But aren’t the Floorwise Group made up of Independents ?
That would leave Likewise negotiating individually with each branch. Maybe though they could cherry pick the best branches by geographical benefit.
keep your eye on floorwise group.
Nice strategic acquisition.
Not lots of obvious acquisition targets out there but Valley were certainly one of them.Feeling positive with Likewise !!
It’s nice to see consecutive ‘blue days’ here.
I’m hoping that Likewise are gradually getting more exposure with investors - fingers crossed ??
It’s nice to see some decent buys going through so far today after a little quiet spell.
Hopefully positive news just around the corner.
Tony Brewer was taught by the best man in the bussiness don,t be fooled ,they are gunning for Headlam.
i agree, any weakness at headlam makes this a buy, thier intentions are obvious ,and they have the team that have done it .
Thanks William for your insight.
I will be investing here later this week and looking at a long term hold ( despite the ‘short term’ question). Any thoughts or knowledge on the future progress of Likewise would be welcome going forward.
I believe they will take the market lead from Headlam with in 5 years. They are all the top team that made Headlam what it was before they set Likewise up. A lot of ground work on new sites about to filter through in next periods and making all the right moves. I invested whilst they were on TISE before moving to AIM market. Only thing I would prefer was that they didn't pay dividend next year but that was always the model when they had Headlam so no surprise. Headlam is also without CEO at the moment.
I have been keeping an eye on this share with a thought of investing in the near future ( awaiting available funds to arrive) Is there anyone with any moderate insight into the near and mid term future direction of Likewise Group ?
Appreciate any input and will not take anything as advisory.
yeah pal 25p launch price (which i bought into ) and 49.5 high
sorry calculator was wrong , it should have been 98%
Onwards and upwards:))
100% up since Launch? Something seriously wrong with your calculator.
50p
100% up on Launch Price , in 5 weeks as well !
Hi there. There are plenty of acquisition focused groups on the market where, owing to factors like the people running them, they are prepared to give them the benefit of the doubt (for a while!) and so afford the shares a premium rating. This is then used to issue shares, to fund acquisitions that are accretive to earnings. If you are right in saying that there are many well-funded operators in this market, it sounds like Tony Brewer is the sort of man who could take advantage of the fragmented industry conditions.
Do you have any idea of the sort of profits, earnings or growth being forecast by Likewise's brokers?
Tony Brewer is known for being obsessed with market share over profit, and that was an issue when he was with Headlam. My forecast is that it will be three or fours years before this company turns it's attention to profit as they will go on a growth and buying spree. I'm fine with that while at the same time expecting further share issues ( dilution ) during that period. Will their growth policy work? yes - but the fly in the ointment is that there are many well funded independent operators in this market, never mind Headlam, it would be foolish to write them off. Bottom line, you are investing in growth potential, don't hold your breath for profit.
behave!
