Hi ripley94, yes, lost on this one. Bought at an average of £0.1948 after Covid struck. Did due diligence and thought it was a decent prospect. Lost £2.5k; did far worse with McColl's, but thankfully better with others: a real mixed bag. I've been sitting-tight the last 9 months as events have unfolded, weighing up when to get back in.
Hi AJones, don't know the payment date sorry. At least we'll be getting something small back, but really disappointing.
Anyone know when the payment date is for the expected offer?
I lost 5k - I always thought this was a positive share , but hey lost out big time!!
Hi GregPBird did you lose on this one as I did , when did you buy in ?
Yes GregPBird accepted on the 10th , good job I did that before yesterday broker deadline as I would of missed it .
In transactions yesterday but no monies as yet .

Well management managed to do some pretty bad damage to the accounts in a relatively short period of time. Bunch of clowns, but then again a bunch of clowns overseen by an equally incompetent BoD. When the bad news broke, the funds sprinted for the door. If they hadn't done so quickly, maybe we could have all salvaged a bit more than 9p, maybe even as much as 15p, but once the new owners had built a big enough stake the price was set. Few people will be tempted to reject the offer, because there will be no market into which these shares can be sold after the company goes private. If the company were able to keep active a listing, even as an aim stock, then I would continue to hold. Sadly that is not an option. So the moral of the story, steer well clear of any company trying to rebuild a damaged balance sheet, even if you see the big guys doubling down, because they too make mistakes, far more often than you think.

My guess is they are taking a position and becoming a LTH when the company goes private. It's a long shot but this company is worth a lot more than it is right now once the liquidity issue is resolve. The company is winning multimillions contract so the future looks bright if you are brave enough to hold some share in private company. However, in my case I have manage to make some good gains and will be accepting the 9p bid GLA
Good Afternoon - being a real rookie in the Share Market I would like to ask a couple of questions - why are people buying 20k shares in Lamprell seeing they are being sold and delisted - should I hold or take the 9p, I would have lost a lot of money by doing this, so totally confused!
Hello Yuri, Considering what I wrote I may have failed to grasp the gist of your reply, sorry, however, FWIW, a special resolution requiring a 75% majority must be passed for cancellation and delisting.
I'm with HL. Anyone got communication for them yet? I keep asking them and they said they will send a communication out about Lamp but so far not a peep
NicName - it's majority vote and bidders are very close to call the shots (45%+ ?)
if you take into account BoD (they've recommended this offer), speculators and some other institutional (via automated vote in "favor") - it's pretty much "done deal", retail won't have much influence on the outcome.

Thanks DB, will give them a call Monday.
Hi BumBum, try emailing them or phone them up. Some Brokers don’t update their systems. It possibly thinks it’s still suspended ?

Not sure what the issue is as I’ve just sold my holdings no issue
It seems this share is now tradable, however on my SaxoTraderGO account it’s still showing as ‘non-tradable’
Who is able to sell and what what will happen if this is never actively trading again?
Any help or advice greatly received.

Not to be confused with traded options. Does anyone know how many Share Options & or Warrants are in issue, with this stock ?

Time will tell :)
Really think it would get there?
I added a few at 8.5p - I prefer mid-teens as a trading target myself.
I have set a sell order for 12p just on the off chance! haha
Yeah it's interesting (though not surprising ...) to see people talking of not getting above 9p when the entire enterprise has just been marked to market at .... 9p ;)

Learn to read and disseminate what it written,I never said it was fake news , that was a a response to Dan the man,as for not relisting I said I didn’t think it was in the company’s interest to relist.
Where's @Davidspellacy? I thought this was never being relisted and was "fake news"
Thanks, but im not from the UK (from The Netherlands) so we don't have any Cap gain tax. We can reclaim any dividend tax as long as it is below 15%. I'll just have to wait and see how much i get.
Is the 9p payout a taxable payout or is it free of dividend tax?
Probably not more than 9p no but MMS have a way of manipulating things!
Offering 8.08p to sell! I would be losing 1000s if I sold now! Absolute madness people are selling!
I am personally waiting for sub 8p! Hopefully the MMS drop it so we can all make some extra money
Before the suspension yes - 7s - but I'm hoping/waiting to see if they offer 8p myself, astonished to see people selling at 8s lol but that's PIs for you :)
Has anyone managed to get in at a decent price like 8p?

Let them! They get it down buy more
Hold for gold, you all held this long. Why would you not hold for the real gains now. Weird!
Beats me why you'd be selling down here but GL ;)
Tried a dummy sell on IG - ‘The market you have requested is no longer available online’.
De ramp all you want lol get it back down to 4p for me

Donald Trump would not put up with this.
Fake news??? Get a grip you ********
It takes time to relist a share. It isnt just an on and off button!
Shares were suspended on 1 July because RNS of results were delayed. The RNS of the results was released several days ago. All this tripe about publication and mailing is fake news.
Fake news? What will happen then?

Ohh right yes! They are probably looking for a way to make it go through without re listing. Pay the shareholders 9p and de list
Sounds dodgy … dont like it
So there is little time for any possible trading before vote is in, Just wondering, probable wrong , just thinking out loud.

According to Maria from IR its a case of getting all the printing done and sent over
Is the BOD working for certain shareholders only (without naming the two names) or for all shareholders?
Can anybody explain the rationale for the suspension remaining if the overdue accounts have been published here already?
Just phoned Maria Babkina from IR and she said suspension should be lifted "in a couple of days"

when will this resume trading ?
all thoughts welcome
The Company intends to request a restoration of the listing of its Ordinary Shares on publication of the FY21 Results.
What are we waiting for now?
If we would open up trading, i can imagine buyer will pay More.
The average SP the buyer party paid should be still in the region of 20p as average. As well they provided a massive cash facility. It should be clear that they see the future potential much higher than what they have paid.
GLA
I do wonder if this would trade above 9p. I think there are significant gains to be made for anyone who is willing to hold their shares in the company once it turns private. Food for thought
50% shareholder approval - the deal is a sure thing then.
Will the suspension be lifted now until the deal is complete and company then de-listed?

Because the deal isn't going to change and we want our funds.
I totally feel for the long-term holders here! I personally was one of the lucky ones that bought in on the drop! I can't even imagine your frustration @NicName if you were a long-term holder!
What's the urgency to take an offer where investors are being screwed? Did you all buy in 24th-30th June?
At worst I have been told it is 28 days from 21st July 2022 then around 10 days for payment. That was from Barclays.
How much longer until we get this settled??

My share account is showing LAM price at £8.70 today for some reason. I'm a millionaire :) lol
Not sure to be Honest but I am guessing soon!
How long are we likely to be waiting??
Be interesting to know what legal justification the company now has for withholding publication of last year's accounts which would allow a resumption of trading. The company is still obliged to adhere to UK law and the UK listing rulebook and I very much suspect in my non legally trained opinion that their current action, which is currently preventing individuals from liquidating their holdings at the market determined price, is potentially challengeable.
I see a few are wanting a hurry to return to trading, they seem to have forgotten that the share is suspended until the accounts are issued, anticipated end of Q3. While the proposed takeover is going ahead , it’s not in the companys interest to return to trading and complicate the process. In my opinion , I don’t believe it will trade again and we will just have to wait until the monies are in our accounts.

.. till they get relisted? Very interesting to see SL is only selling a fraction of his stake at this low ball price.
@bonker99 What do you mean? Have I missed something?
Interesting notion this talk of selling ASAP at 9p when the entire enterprise has just been publicly marked to market at a minimum value of 9p.
Each to their own I guess ...
It will probably go something like 4 weeks until the offer, then another 2 weeks until the vote, then another 2+ weeks until completion.
This could really drag on. Hope they sort the audit issue and unsuspend ASAP
I have personally never been in a suspended share when an offer has been made so I am not sure how it works to be honest so I have messaged Barclays and they have said the below.
Usually, this type of information is provided to us, and we have a dedicated team that deals with corporate events. These events then are posted to shareholders accounts, so they can select an option
So based on this I would say we vote to accept via our Broker portals.
Last post: AJones, 21 Jul 2022 15:40
I am like that I would honestly sell for 8p at the minute just to get the money out and into something that will make me money! But on another note, I have personally more or less doubled my investment so that doesn't come along often!
What exactly happens now as I will be honest, I read it but it makes no sense? I am with Barclays how do we agree to the price and get these sold?
Is it 4 wees to issue the offer though and then more weeks wasted afterwards to vote and get ducks in a row before payout?
There are so many stocks in the bargain basket right now it is very frustrating having a chunk of cash tied up here for zero reward..!
Its also a non sense process - they could move us back trading and we can only sell for 9p / mention another 4 weeks max now to wait
28 days - unlikely it would take this long though to distribute the offer to shareholders.
