There are always more shares sold then bought with William hill but the shares are not as psychotic then ladbrokes The way it moves it's like they are going bankrupt I do understand the fobts issue but it's so negative sentiment with this company and it's divi is great
Remember 850,000 odds shares don't cont because they are uncrossed
Appleby, some of the sells either hidden (dark pools) or delayed announcements. One can't buy what isn't being sold, vice versa. Drop in SP probably due to added caution re next week's gambling addiction report that Aby's comment touches upon below. - GL.
3x as many shares bought today than sold , and price falls. What are the market makers doing .
meant to say up by 15 per cent if its good news
the big day will be the report by the responsible gambling trust will go down 10 percent OR by 15 per cent
Reasons: near closing year lows. Volume on down days below average, momentum of falls slowing. That said, a double bottom later maybe revisiting 110.70 seen 10/10/14 won't surprise. However, in view of decent divi yield & that one never expects to catch lowest SP, current level low enough for me to re-enter again. Target 120+. - If not reached soon, will hold for dividends as bought via proper shares, so no more costs. - GLA.
U.K. bookies eye legalised betting bonanza stateside: Britain’s bookies are eyeing a potential U.S. betting goldmine after the head of the National Basketball Association urged U.S. lawmakers to legalise what has turned into a $400 billion (£250 billion) industry largely controlled by the black economy.
possible acquisition from PTEC has caused the rise. Ptec down 7% today. All speculation thus far.
anyone knows why the rise?
Bought in here today having exited this time in 2011 at about 129p .I missed out on the journey .Havent used my internet betting account for sometime so showing willing I tried to do it today. They want some proof of age .On that basis they must have been accepting bets off me previously when I was 8!!!!
But the point is, at £1 which direction will it go in?
Yes MARCH next year at earliest, regulation changes and a general market correction on the ending of quantative easing, just confirmed. I have however closed the profitable short position I was holding , so as to protect the gain. Moving proceeds to a long position on gvc for a short term rise to keep funds in sector.
It was ex divi back in 24/09/2014 on my spreadsheet or do you mean Mar next year?
In fairness this share is trying to rise, or at least has stopped dropping, more buys than sells daily, might just be turning a corner.
i am taking a small beat here, 15% down, hoping this is a goos omen.
I am moving my price target down to 103p, looking to purchase after ex divvy date.
You would have saved a bit by waiting till today . Still waiting for 110p then holding long term, only in for approx. 11k
If you are waiting for sp to go lower.i think you have missed out. Bought 200.000 Friday. What an opportunity to get nearly 8%
Getting to my purchase price quicker than I thought
Good news but earnings don't cover divvy , a buy for me at 110p tops
Seemingly good news for Lad today. Why the drop in sp?
we are missing you over on LGO mate
