Hi Lemmon, It's lth and early doors! What more do you want that anyone can deduce at this point in time? Get in or go to RR for a short time multi bag.
Evening all, Iâm currently looking for an early lithium play (Iâm already in EMH & SAV), and, having a quick read, KOD seems to have a fair bit of potential to make some money at the current SP. Bit lazy of me, but would anyone mind giving me a brief summary of the pros and cons of this particular company?
Thanks in advance.
Donât forget homework is in today
Please have a go at bringing the NPV up to date with current market prices
Please and thank you
Wow Thankyou for a great response I appreciate it. ????
Licences all valid and in good standing order
Itâs in the governments interest we get into production, think from memory they have 10% interest
Big cash for them
Would like to think if will arrive before December .
Reading into your post, we really need to get this licence granted before end of December otherwise we will have to go down the route of extending current exploration licences before perhaps resubmitting the mining licence?
we had to tweek the licence area.
"During the year, the Company agreed modifications to the Foulaboula, Sogola Nord and Fariedele concessions with the Direction Nationale de la Geologie et des Mines ("DNGM") of Mali in preparation for the granting of the mining licence.
The new mining licence will be issued to replace the Foulaboula concession and the changes were agreed to ensure all areas of mineralisation and the proposed mining infrastructure and processing plant for Bougouni are included within the one licence area."
Kodal's Bougouni and Bougouni West lithium exploration projects are located in southern Mali, with the rights and concessions held by subsidiary company Future Minerals SARL ("Future Minerals"), a Malian registered company owned 100% by the Group.

I concur Dicko80 - well articulated.
Massive potential here.
I'm going to try get up to 6m shares on Mon/Tues..
Licence imminent.
Hmmm interesting. Still very little exploration comparison to others. See what occurs
Daz,
Th Mafele Prospect (Bougouni West) was tested back in 2019 along with the Marigo Prospect that sits between the Sogola Baoule and Boumou prospects.
From memory the results were not great, BA mentioned at the time that the drilling on Marigo was too close to 'weathered' zones.. Mafele returned very little - "low-level mineralisation from the reconnaissance at the Mafele concession":

I want to know more on bougini west tbh. Its not been prospected or anything and is kodals other li play no one seems to discuss. Its the neighbouring project to ffx.
hi Bomber
there are too many ifs buts and maybes to put an accurate sp together, mainly due to KOD being exploration and all our assets are still in the exploration phase with the hope of confirming additional resources to increase value
for instance we currently hold 8 gold licences , only one has a confirmed maiden resource 350k oz gold but we are currently drilling to increase the resource, same for the other projects
if you read through the info, these gold projects are potentially pretty huge..
look at the strike length, width and grade
this will give you an idea on potential
as guide you can use the following
Strike Length x Depth x Width x Specific Gravity = âXâ (in tonnes)
grams per tonne gold x tonnes / 34.2857 =
total ozs of gold
gold is c$1800
near surface so gold costs per t c $900 per oz, so every 1 million resource is worth c$1.8billion in the ground
i can see multi million oz of gold across our portfolio
likewise the lithium , currently we have a NPV (net present value) $300m
but as discussed at length this is out dated and needs to reflect current market sales price per t
but again we have exploration upside, lots of area to explore
once mining licence, we should see a quick turnaround and into production
capex costs are small @ c$117m, plus we agreed to go into partnership with our neighbour to split costs on some infrastructure costs
if you look at RNS from Jan 2020, they state production targeting production H2 2021 SO c18months
once in production our valuation will increase as we are now a producer, price valuation are at multiples of earnings
once in profit per year, we will see dividend payments, giving a nice payment each year of life of mine
only need to look @ current market sales price c$2500 - 466 costs pt x 249000 t pa
gives a staggering $506m per year net
......................
sorry i cant be more specific but all i would say
if you can buy and hold, you should be extremely well rewarded as we really are at the beginning of the journey
From KOD on Twitter yesterday "expected to become one of Africas largest lithium mines once in production". Id say above 3p and given the fact that they have gold resources, it mayb drive it higher. Who knows, Bernard might decide to invest in more projects in the future.
Worst 0.00p best 3.9p
IMO
Look at the feasibility study and the value of the mine to whoever owns it.
Best case is Kod get licence approved and an amazing finance deal to build the mine and processing plant which is then done very quickly without issues. Worst case scenario KOD donât get the mining licence or military government cease to recognise overseas investment in national licences.
Mid case is licence takes ages, kod have to give away a large chunk of the project to get financing, takes 4 or 5 years to get the mine and plant up and running with complications on the way which cost money and kod start mining with high debt levels.
Hi would anyone be able to give me any idea as to potential future SP please? Struggling to work out the worst/best case scenarios. Thank you
