Kenmare's share price would be falling anyway. This is the usual pattern. And the share price will likely be below 400p by the end of the summer, and below 350p by the end of 2023.
Seems to be working.....
Thanks, picked up a couple of thousand more at 438.3, not the lowest it's been lately but a decent price IMHO.
Shep Dave glad to hear your dividend as arrived
That was a long wait
Finally arrived !
Thanks for feedback, it would appear 'Barclays Smart Investor' are the real laggards in this process. Approaching 2 weeks and counting and no sign of quite a healthy dividend which I would like to re-invest.
Mine seemed to hit late last week. Account with HL
Still no dividend from Barclays, any luck out there ?
I know everything is down today and this has been the trend for quite a few days but £4.23!!!!! I honestly thought KMR would remain above the 4.5. I also thought (wrongley it would seem) that it would go above 5 from March onward but here we are again. Really hope things improve with KMR.
Boy
Me too.
They can't even think up a decent excuse!!!
My Kenmare dividends were available two days ago at Hargreaves Lansdown, Halifax and Interactive Investor. Good luck.
Still waiting on Barclays for my dividend sigh !
With HL you can only claim back overseas taxes paid in the USA or Canada:
"Where possible we will claim reduced withholding tax payments on US and Canadian stocks for investors who have provided us with a valid W-8BEN form. However, we will not reclaim tax credits on dividends or income from any other foreign countries."
This may be different with other brokers.
I'm not in the UK myself but In the UK as a dual tax treaty with Ireland and in the UK dividend tax I believe nis 10% so you might be able to claim 40%of it back and Ireland keep 60% of the tax you need to check with a tax accountant
I understand you can claim it back if you are a UK tax resident.
Yes it's Irish tax law to deduct 25% I had checked with kenmare and Lloyds it's cost me £6000 in tax
If the company did a 10% buy back instead of dividend of each shareholder we wouldn't have to pay this tax it would come under capital gains which would make myself tax free so I think a 9 million buy back would have gave shareholders a better deal on there tax return
Are any other UK investment brokers deducting the 25% irish WHT?
I have been paid 26p a share. was expecting 35p on todays share price
Dividend payment now received in my HL account.
Tep1 yes that's right.
Lloyds/Halifax say they haven't received it yet. Would the irritating withholding tax be an issue?
Believe you can manually transfer it to capital account before the 10th.
Krusty
I stand corrected, sorry everyone. Thanks for the info Krusty.
Boy
TheBoy828, I think you're getting a bit confused. Your KMR dividend will appear in your Income tab on HL as soon as they've completed the conversion from $ to £ hopefully in the next couple of days. The "roll over" you refer to is when HL sweep money from your Income account into your Capital account, which happens automatically on 10th of each month (if you have elected to hold cash in your Capital a/c rather than have it reinvested). Hope that makes sense. K
Not in my HL account yet but I have a feelling that after a certaind date in the month they roll it over to the next month. I know I have read that somewhere I am sure. I just had a quick look and can't find the date on the site. I maybe wrong.
