Why is Kistos on a premium p/e valuation to other oil and gas producers? Thinking of taking a position (having previously owned RockRose until it’s takeover) but the comparative peers look cheaper…

Is this Kistos? We haven't had a deal for a while. The comment about Industry Leading Emission Performance made me think it might be.
Looks good.

China Returns to Buy Winter Gas Supply in Risk to Global Balance
China is looking to stock up on liquefied natural gas for winter, returning to the spot market in a move that risks reducing supply to other importers.
Unipec, the trading arm of Sinopec, released a tender to purchase more than a dozen shipments for this winter, in addition to deliveries through the end of 2024, according to traders with knowledge of the matter.
This is the biggest push by a state-owned Chinese importer to procure LNG from the spot market since February.
The nation’s potential return to the market could curb the availability of LNG for Europe, which is turning to the super-chilled fuel to replace pipeline gas deliveries from Russia.
Risks from frigid weather to strikes and China’s appetite for fuel threaten to disrupt the LNG/Gas market’s delicate balance, according to executives and analysts at the Gastech conference

Netherlands: TAQA terminates agreement to sell its Netherlands upstream oil and gas business to Waldorf Energy
29 Mar 2023
On 6 October 2022 Abu Dhabi National Energy Company PJSC ('TAQA') had announced that it had entered into agreement with Waldorf Energy Netherlands for the sale of its upstream oil and gas business in the Netherlands.
TAQA confirms that as Completion did not occur in accordance with its terms, it has terminated the agreement on 28 March 2023.
TAQA remains committed to its business in the Netherlands and will continue to contribute actively to the security of supply of gas through its upstream and gas storage activities.

Think AA will have sold the company within 2 years
He did day if no deals will return mone to holders
So that's being taken over if no deals add value .
Wonder if there sniffing on taqas asset sale that fell through earlier this year
I’d take £7. Holding out for £8-10 - 3/4 years time.
I wonder when AA will pull of another deal here.
Or will Kistos be taken out at £5 by a predator
Serica maybe
Serica results on 19th September
As per AIM Rules they'll arrive this month.
Like Rockrose something has to happen soon
Imho
Wonder if we will get the interim results.next week
Got it. Thank you.
Idkmybffjill,
No.
It is GLA that produces a small amount of oil. They produced around 200 barrels per day in June which I have already included in the boepd figures for GLA.
This is missing some oil production, no? I forget either GLA or Netherlands had a couple hundred barrels per day of oil production.
June total production (net to Kistos) came in at around 7779 barrels per day , down from just over 9000 barrels a day in May.
Production in the Netherlands was down around 60% (maintenance shutdown?) whilst at GLA it was up ~10% and up ~15% in Norway.
Norway (Oil) 10% net to Kistos = 2260 bbl/day.
GLA (Gas) 20% net to Kistos = 4404 boepd
Netherlands (Gas) 60% net to Kistos = 1115 boepd
aimo dyor etc etc
What did you expect though? I thought it was a great summary, but Kistos has a lot of risk factors that we don’t know enough about like future weather.
That was terrible, certainly put me of joining any clubs like that. AllI heard was: I think, I don't know, I am not expert at this, if winter bad is good for kistos, I don't know about politics...? Very strange
