A CNBC article analysed the potential price rises if the Strait is blocked by Iran or others.

Kistos have oil, gas, and a gas storage facility.....none of which rely on the Strait of Hormuz. If the worst happens we are very well placed.

In reality they said if they needed to equity raise they would have no issue. Listen to the recent Malcy interview where co say net debt is in reality closer to $50m and its a uk accountancy catch all for going concern which wouldnt have happened if they didnt pay off the bonds last year, saved $6M for company by doing so. The delay in Norway means the $45mn bond most likely wont be paid. Feeling is that the market is wait and see currently for UK tax position but in reality UK is not key assets/position in Kitsos portfolio Norway is where it is at and once Balder on stream the deal will look very good.

The interims gave us a first look at the earnings potential of the assets acquired at the end of April.

Up to the end of June the assets contributed $1.9m of revenue and there were a further $2.4m in as yet unrealised gains from seasonal trades.

It is still very early days, but with Hill Top increasing its working gas capacity by 24% and the possibility of Hole House being recommissioned in the future we could be looking at a capacity of 40 million therms.

A purchase price of $33m looks like a decent piece of business.
