thanks 4 the advice - already hold plenty of Glencore - Kefi is a punt. and not a very good one so far but heres hoping
Sensible commentary....Sweet Fanny Adams as you say has accomplished nothing apart from burning his way through huge amounts of s/holders funds whilst simultaneously diluting long term shareholders, diluting Saudi interests, annoying the Ethiopians, taking a huge monthly consultancy fee, and being economical with la verite!
Wasn't it Mike Tyson who said that "everyone has a plan until they get punched on the nose"?
Plans are just words, fighting wars costs blood, pain and lives. I've been invested here for about two years and am of the opinion that Ethiopia doesn't look like it's going to cut it. It's likely not the government or the people's fault - possibly having more to do with the kind of society powerful people in the Western nations are forcing it to adopt. Fortunately, with are in Saudi, and nobody is going to force them to do a thing for a good while yet.

Does look like the TPLF are collapsing from different sources but we probably need wider communication but key is stability and for TPLF to not simply simmer away plotting the next attack. They need heads knocking together and mediate a solution but i suspect this is precisely what Abiy is achieving as the boot looks to be on the other foot. If confirmed more widely not a moment too soon as Kefi needs to rally their own troops. Certainly inpending collapse seems quite far of the mark that the Western Media were peddling but could be a turning point for Kefi investors.
not quite the ceasefire we're looking for but..
Prime Minister Abiy called on TPLF fighters to surrender peacefully and save themselves. In a televised broadcast, the PM said, “We have completed devising a plan to exterminate the enemy,” adding, “The enemy has been defeated.” Abiy went on to address TPLF fighters who he said are engaged in fighting without knowledge of the area’s landscape and a clear direction and asked them to surrender to government forces as soon as possible. “The Tigrayan youth who was coaxed into this aimless fighting and dying in masses should understand that the war is over,” he said.
The PM disclosed that he discussed with the army the ‘the last plan’ of one of the fronts he is currently spearheading. He also explained that the army will move on to the offensive, “We are ready, the military and its leadership are ready.” The PM vowed to complete the war in a short time and with minimal sacrifice.
Abiy assured the preparedness of the military who he said is in high spirits, “What we want is national unity, peace and development, we were forced into this war but victory is inevitable.” He also reminded citizens of the sacrifice the army is paying at the battle front and urged them to return the favor by continuing their support.

I think we are finaly looking at a turning point in the war here. Ideally, this would lead to a ceasefire but if they all keep away from TK that woudl be good enough for now...
The victory means the TPLF has been almost totally pushed out of the lowlands and the path of advance eastward toward Mile, which sits on the A1 highway toward Djibouti and which the TPLF has been trying to press toward for weeks, is now blocked. The TPLF has also encountered stiff resistance by the ENDF and Afari forces east of Bati, to the south of Chifra, blocking its advance on Mile from the southwest.
Unconfirmed reports on Monday suggested the ENDF had also recaptured Bati, which is in eastern Amhara state, but there had been no official declaration of the victory by the government when this story went to publication.

What do you mean LL. armrest you saying small cos with an asset/license/patent are worthless until they produce something? Don’t think AIM is for you mate. Go for Rio Tinto, they produce tons of the good stuff. Meanwhile small exploration companies on the cusp (hopefully) of development is where I think the value it.
How can it be undervalued when it doesn't produce anything to actually make money as yet? its here for a reason
I have also started to add at sub .9 as while you cant always believe what you hear it does sound that the TPLF are being pushed back. I suspect once the EG have done that both sides will acknowledge this cant go on forever and the EG are democratically elected by the majority of the population and hopefully start some negotiation. Its a calculated gamble as such but Hawiah is the biggie quietly evolving in the background and that is the backstop, not mention Jibal license update. As to placing its hard to call. Harry and main investors have so far been very against but obviously things have changed and delay is longer. However they planned on no raise before the 31st December financial completion and they would not have done a placing before that so i do not see why they will not wait until the New Year and see and what transpires. Furthermore loans have been provided simply and effectively in the past and clearly Harry would prefer that route. Given the loans are done with the main shareholder there is a good chance they are on the same page. There is a fair chance that peace talks will commence in the next few weeks and if that happens and Kefi has moved technicalities along while Kefi are in Ethiopia then i think as much as possible can be done in the meantime. Certainly Harry has a big bonus for anything coming to fruition and he still seems confident of some further constructive update in December. Many many projects continue to operate normally and given all finance is local this is also positive as they all know the score. Certainly if Kefi can get something concrete then they know where they stand and what is the best way forward. Certainly just for Hawiah we are grossly undervalued. GLA
What we can hope for in the next few months:
Hawiah increase tonnage & grade and resource classification upgrade (Dec?)
Tulu Kapi launch (End Jan 2022)
Clarification of mining license tenure at Jibal Qutman gold project (Q1 2022)
Fingers and toes crossed
So I've added a bit more. Considerations being conflict related delay and placing vs share price on the floor.
If we get an update with a small placing and some tangible developments with the financing then we might see a good rise here.
Saudi is providing a level of support to the share price, or at least the perception of value, and KEFI will most likely always be there in one form or another....
Its just so cheap at the moment... if we could see some kind or bridging loan that also be good news
Cost would have been paperwork and travel? What about salaries for staff, payments to consultants etc....
where is the placing ?
It's about supply lines - TPLF basically driving down the A2 towards Addis - but if they are cut off at the rear (look at this map) they are well and truly b*ggered
https://www.google.com/maps/place/Chifra,+Ethiopia/@11.6756014,39.2653228,9z/data=!4m5!3m4!1s0x1638aae10881abf9:0x9feca1c14ff32342!8m2!3d11.6073847!4d40.0158739
The gov forces took back one town after the rebel forces took the majority of two while regions. Don’t think they are quite on the back foot yet.
looking good for the EG. Should either force TPLF to agree ceasefire or for them no longer to be a threat to the country (and more importantly, us). Soon Harry can sort out the funding with no more excuses....

One of the articals state 31st january...and it states hopefully..we are looking at april before finance is here at least ..then it will have rainy season excuse then comes september...having said that the Ethiopian army are advancing well and cutting off all supplies..plus we know now that sudan was helping TPLF ..but nn more ...i think next week there will be a surrender after amhara is back in control og EG...where was this massive army that was close to capital...
I think Harry Diluted Saudi Arabia by 2 1/2% to avoid doing a Placing, Once we get news of peace talks
Which can’t be far away, everyone will put pen to paper and we’ll all be happy. (hopefully before Christmas).
Tigray forces on the back foot

It would, however, be nice to know where they actually are for completing the deal.
I'd suppose the terms of the debt (ie, end of Nov) can be rolled forward, since the aim was to avoid dilution (and that was at 2p, let alone 0.83p). During the delay, costs would have been mainly paperwork and travel, not work on site, and that I'd suppose would therefore not have increased that debt dramatically beyond what was originally expected for October agreement.
They should focus on finally getting Ethiopia done, and not waste dilution on more holes in the ground in Saudi. I suppose if they do the former, they will probably place into the subsequent rise for the latter; that's not as bad.
Given curcumstances cant ask for me. Team in Ethiopia and doing what they can and bottom line for me is Whatever government they are going to need to get this project off the ground for many strategic reasons, but mostly to create biggest dollar project in country. Hawiah is moving on at pace and we should get the updated Report soon. Nice to see we might get resolution on Jibal as we forgot about that but. decent quick return project and would increase its valuation if we get the go ahead to scoop up the gold. we will get their.
Jibal looking hopeful and they haven't fled ethiopia. All is possible at a bargain price
