The great red spot is so big.........
The discovery storm will take the SP to £1..........
Hold tight.....
Next week take off.....
BCB - according to this mornings news, next week could see an invasion of Ukraine. I don't think the markets (or the market makers) will just brush off a military invasion as a non event? So if KAV want to take another few weeks to drill or announce this, it might not be a bad thing?
point taken..Legal
Invasion will not happen..... Just Putin puffing his chest out......
Compromise......... will be the end game for both sides....
Imminent
Sorry about my Grammar... Apple is on Autopilot...
BCB - Chest puffing?? You do not seem to be aware that Putin started his invasion of Ukraine in February 2014.
There are some things we cannot control Keith or hedge for
It is a sorry situation nearly 200 k troops from both sides living in those conditions …
The stress of the families
And it’s all about mine is bigger than yours

Which is more likely, China invading Taiwan or Russia the Ukraine? Methinks Putin, and possibly Biden, are working hand-in-glove with Xi. All eyes might not be focusing on the prize.

“ Financing – we believe our investor relations work is among the best in the small-cap space in London”…. All correct if the interview was made 30 days ago.
Silence is golden?
Cox what has Ben said when you've raised your concerns with him?
Ella10 121 link:
Looking at the major share holders, does that suggest that 38% of the shares are held through Jarvis Investment Management?
Analyze the previous RNS’ when visible results we’re found times that with the importance of the current drill makes the communication silence an alarming sign of things didn’t turn out as planned…. When sulphides occurred first they “released info before the night shifts begun”. This is a more important hole. Along with a statement from Ben in an interview: “We will update the market as soon as we have results”. They previously had no problem on sharing pictures of core while drilling.
Hi MrRobo,
It does suggest that - the same as the major shareholder pave on the website.
It's hard to imagine that they won't have at least intercepted the conductor by now, even allowing for any slowing down and pausing? Maybe they don't want to provide updates because people will infer that they have not found visible sulphides, otherwise they would have said so, and then deduce from that there isn't a discovery here?
As far as I am concerned and KAV goes, it's all about investing in the company with multiple prospects as opposed to investing in just one project. On that basis, I am not at all worried what the outcome will be - of course I think it will be a positive result. Any bad news would be required to be released to the market immediately.
I suspect that they have run into major drilling difficulties. I have already declared that I sold my shares so feel free to take this with A pinch of salt. It only recently occurred to me but I suspect that Mindea were reluctant to go near the Great Red Spot due to the significant difficulties encountered when drilling the area previously. That is why BT kept laying on the praise.
If and it’s a big IF this hole is useless then they will need to go back to the drawing board in terms of the geological methodology as it will be clear there is something a miss.
But again, this is a big IF and purely speculation which helps no one.
As stated earlier, give them until early March to update the market either way.
A halt in drilling for days would require a RNS I suppose.
I suspect that most on here have not contacted Ben to question what is happening. I emailed him on Friday morning. He normally replies in a few hours. This time, nothing. Not even a holding reply. Whatever IS going on, we will only find out with official news. My hope (and expectation) is that the delay is good news and am still holding my 1% but you must all do what you feel is corrrect for yourselves.
Wait until March you got to be kidding
Lazy money
IMO it should not be necessary for individual investors to send emails directly to the CEO of a publicly listed company on the LSE in order to have some clarity on something like a major (flagship) drilling campaign. All investors are entitled to the same level of information. It is the duty of the company to provide timely updates. The length of delay we now have seems quite exceptional given the expectations that the company itself created. There is clearly something amiss and they need to update investors via a formal RNS as soon as possible. I’m could be bad or it could be good. Either way they need to let us know in order to maintain their own credibility and reputation.
Despite the long wait, there have not been that many sells. Overall sentiment seems to be bullish rather than bearish.
I'm certainly in the bullish camp as I think if the hole was a dud, we would have heard by now. We know that mining majors are interested in the KSZ but have wanted to see rocks rather than more pretty coloured models. So my speculative opinion is that the hole has hit mineralization and that experts or a mining major or majors are involved in getting the petrology and mineralology work done asap in order to find out what the mineralisation is and confirm a discovery if appropriate. If we have to rely on commercial labs, we are going to have to wait months so neither the BOD, nor shareholders or mining majors want this. So there is a big incentive to get confirmation of a discovery done more quickly. However, I am just guessing here but this is my tuppence worth!

This has been said before and I don't think that's accurate. The Twitter release of cores from KAV were dated 16th November, the same date the RNS confirming intercept off mineralisation was released.
Furthermore the RNS stated...
Kavango Resources plc (LSE:KAV), the exploration company targeting the discovery of world-class mineral deposits in Botswana, is pleased to announce completion of Hole KSZDD001 in the Company's Kalahari Suture Zone ("KSZ") Project. Copper sulphide mineralisation and locally abundant fine grained, interstitial magnetite were encountered from first contact with the Proterozoic gabbro, at 951m to the end of hole at 1,000m ("EOH").
So firstly no images were released prior to regulatory announcement. Secondly, the RNS content mean they didn't release the news of mineralisation until the end of hole.
Just wanted to ensure this is clear as it's been mentioned a few times and the fact they haven't released anything can simply be because they are not at EOH depth.
I've no idea what or if they've found anything. As I've said I'm here for more than one drill and will hold anyway.
I'm as keen as anyone to know but I believe Ben will inform when he can good or bad in this one hole
