I think shareholders might feel rightly aggrieved here. Wonder what deal Tom Joules got, how much cash he parted with and what share of the new company he will hold.

I don’t hold any shares here but feel sorry for those who do. Classic case of being shafted. There should be rules here to make people more accountable. Sad reality
I'm so pleased that we have been able to strike a deal that protects the future of the company for all its loyal customers, its employees and also for the town of Market Harborough, which have been so central to Joules' success."
Can't see anything about the shareholders there. How inconsiderate of them.
It is great news that Next and Tom are picking Joules up from the ashes. It is as though all this was planned. Some would say that the "negotiations" weren't perhaps done in good faith. They don't have any of the legacy issues and can start again. Wonder what happens to the gardening side?
Sorry to all holders. Very painful and believe you got stiffed.
Go into administration
Wipe out debts
Back hand deals
No need to pay more for buyout.....always purchase out of admin!!
Shareholders stuffed as usual
It stinks but thats how it is
Be careful in the future about buying shares in companys that are struggling, this is how they always do it.
Some on here did warn us that admin was going to happen.
It’s the duplicitous semi positive RNS s that get me .
It feel for Richard assuming he wasn’t tipped off .
I assume the next RNS will be one heralding a de-listing and dissolution of the old company.
I did say that TJ would be just fine ..these guys always are.
i bought in when Tom Joule came back into the company, i'm a long time customer, and i figured he was best placed to turn it around, if he couldn't i saw him as having integrity and would do the right thing. I've put my trust in him. Rightly his first priority was the best deal for the staff, i'll wait to see if he has done anything for us small shareholders.
You're kidding right? As soon as this went into admin, it was over for us PIs.
Thats assuming the old Co and TJ have acted with the utmost integrity of course.
It wouldn't surprise me if that Richard chap comes out of this with some kind of stake in the Co.
Anyone know if Paul Scott held until the end. I know he was quite a prominent Joules backer.
I wonder if the SFO should have a look at all this?
What a sucker I feel. Wife works in head office, I believed in the brand and the founders story. I really didn’t think he would be this ruthless. Tens of thousands of pounds lost. Not a good feeling. I should know better.
Why should we wait for the SFO to do nothing. can’t we get a class action of shareholders against this fraud.
The last financials I read said the net assets were £40m after creditors. With a market value of £10m based on the SP. I think we should be looking for 25p per share out of this
Grampyan, after admin costs shareholders will be left with nowt imv.
Also need to see the garden trading deal. This is still outstanding, whos buying that?
