More than enough to pay the dividend without effect to the shareprice? I am now confused as to whether you're being wilfully mendacious or actually believe what you just wrote. Either way, it ain't good.
Yep but paid against shares you can an on the 1st. So you can sell on the 1st.
50p+ target based on what FourPrinces? Care to share your reasoned analysis and calculations? Or did you, as usual, just make a round number up to get folk on here salivating? Does anyone even bother doing actual research any more? Nothing wrong with a momentum play but I'd suggest folk read further into the corporate run-off strategy the company has adopted and likely future outlook as well as the "typical binary characteristics of a legal case". Actually, that sounds like effort so don't bother and just buy a few grand's worth and keep your fingers crossed.
Paid on the 29th September not the 1st.... but still not too long to wait...
Invariably the price on 1st Sept will drop 8p........and dividends over £5000 will have to be declared and min 7.5% paid in duty...for lower tax payers up to 38.5% for higher tax payers!!
Read the RNS GG76. They've just received 10 million. They have more than enough money to pay the dividend without effect to the shareprice. This share doesn't need ramping. Just read the RNS. Who in the right mind will sell in the next 9 days and miss out on 50% money back
Total divi paid so far is 1.11 per share. Now there's a return. No brainer
Errr - you do realise that share prices in companies usually fall at least by the dividend amount when a stock goes ex-div Sopbel? Keep ramping your position though :/
It's a no brainier because nobody in the right mind will sell before September. Will be buy after buy
I wish I had bought few more..Saw 100% rise thought it might drop and then will top up but seems train has left 16's and 17's behind now
Agree total no brainer
At 16p it's a complete no brainier. 50% back in 9 days. Even at 24p it's a no brainier. With 33% of your money back in 9 days. You're going to hold the same number of shares after the dividend is paid. BUY and HOLD. Even the impatient can wait 9 days.
Im in! GL all!
$10m incoming. 71 year high. 8p dividend September. 50+ target.
Yep people stocking up . Will be 30p plus soon imo
Just had another £10k worth. Guaranteed 5k divi regardless of price, what's not to like
On LSE top risers. Havent done any research but thinking worth a gamble of a couple K? Although after a monster rise 7/10 shares usually have a dip. Thoughts would be appreciated
7.5k just gone at 17.93
I think we could be will be above 20 easy once profit taking gone
Looks good can see another bag here.
Thanks
They've just received 10 million. The price will not drop that much on September 1st. They're cash rich
Bought in this morning - with more than 50% coming back to me next month as a dividend. Their balance sheet looks healthy and so I decided to buy. Not a big investment but what the heck... GLA
Yes and then the share price drops by the divi amount as is usual. Not to say this isnt a great opportunity, but dont go thinking that the dividend is just going to be some free cash and it wont dip after the ex date ;).
Another whopper just gone through. Someone is very hungry for these. Good luck all LTHs.
