Markets been open 2 hours. Wait till the 31st august
to get out of present range, if this is such a no brainer then why is it still around 17p ,two hours after opening, comments welcome.
GG, just curious. It always amazes me why people spend so much energy bashing a share. Surely you'd be better off using that energy investing in a share you do think is a good investment. There is no logic unless you want a cheaper entry or have nothing better to do with your time. Which is it in your case?
So using your concept smarty pants. Why isn't the shareprice a minus number.
Small top up but got my price bit higher.. who cares this will be in 20's 30's soon.
I CBA looking into the full price history but, using Google's price chart, the sp was 110p in December 2007 and was 10p yesterday. Now 16p but the fall largely correlates with the dividend payments made/ex dates etc. It's really that simple and if you don't get it by now it's pointless and somewhat Sisyphean in me trying to help educate you; I'll leave that to the machinations of the market. Best of all the luck you deserve.
Got a final top up at 16.4p. See you all in 9 days.
Because thankfully idiots like you are not in charge of the stock markets...
Ex-dividend? Interim of 8p, where does it say no further dividends? I must have missed it
So why isn't the shareprice a minus figure clever clogs.
Another dividend will follow. This is an unbelievable stock. And the BOD are really in it for their shareholders. GG79 good luck with your entry price. I'll be gobsmacked if it drops.
For the avoidance of doubt, I did not invent the ex-dividend concept Sopbel. But yes, it's clearly me that's brainless here. Fo sho.
Bobslob - look at the share price action in September 2016. Compare it to the dividend paid. Add 1 and 1 together. You can do it despite having the aforementioned faeces where thine grey matter should be. Good luck. Seems you'll need it.
Price May Dip on 1st but company is sound and paying large dividends so will go back up ... IMO
Using your concept the shareprice should now be minus £1. #dummy
GG79. How can they have paid out so much in dividends using your concept. #brainless
Most have s**t for brains you ask me.
Ah yes, you can't actually defend or support your wildly inaccurate and somewhat worrying statements so let's have a dig at the person asking you for clarification and try the age-old insinuation of wanting a lower entry price. Yaaaaaaawn. Suggest you look up Ex-Dividend on Investopedia. Or there are a number of Investing for Dummies books available but you may need to start off somewhere a bit less challenging. All the best.
They can't read Bob. Need us to spell it out to them. If they weren't cash rich and the shareprice dropped drastically every time they paid a dividend. Our share would be worth minus £1
Like yesterday, Mubl!!
GG....they've done plenty of research ..... checking who's top of the risers board!!
Read this .. Dividends paid to investors during 2016 totalling 40 pence per share (bringing total life-to-date dividends to £1.036 per share). its from a previous RNS.
Wish I'd seen these before 111.6p in dividends since inception. Years high of 70p
Why would you sell even after September Divi? would this not carry on with DIVI? Plus should be steady rising for long run.
Its a good buy Sopbel, but i think you need to go back to share trading school, because either you have no idea how dividends work, or you are deliberately misleading people...
