Adidas and Nike make nothing in Taiwan. Yes they buy from Taiwanese firms, made in their plants in China, Indonesia, Vietnam, Myanmar mostly.
Looks like the shorts have gone… onwards and upwards x
Big quake hits Taiwan, gonna hit various stocks imv, as Nike and Adidas are big supers to said company's, semiconductors, Reporting that these factories closed workers Sent home, safety assessments, hope there's not a lot of deaths, and all are safe.
A weeks delay in production will impact above and knock on to likes of us, already heavy losses in USA, aisian indices in deep red and rolling across Europe futures,
Me be looking for bargains up early researching in advance.
Let's see today, 143p gap, and still 6mn at 119p on books,
Big day today no? Some posters have gone missing I wonder why? 🤔 keep the faith all, JD only dropped today after the Dow decided to be a pain for the ftse.
Glg completely closing the 0.48% short they currently have, maybe?
Anyone idea what these 2 are with time stamp?

Lots of buys were going through in the £1.34 range, UT closed it down by well over a penny
It’s certainly obvious who missed the boat last week……
It seems 135 is the new level. Will be interesting to see how much it drops over the next few weeks.
How's the people certain to bank a quick large profit doing today?
£1.38 resistance
But revenue continues to grow…..if your point is true….JD are simply taking more market share away from competitors. 🤷🏻♂️.
With inflation in double digits over the last few years your typical customer has seen circa 10 per cent wage declines. That coupled with increased rent prices means they have less money in their pockets.
Monopolyman….
Let’s not forget the vast majority of JD customers likely dont have mortgages,,or maybe even rent! 15-25yo likely still living at home. IMO we’re over the worst in this SP.
JD’s operating in 21+ territories dilutes risk too, it’s not all U.K. & US
The fact of the matter is that your typical Joe blog has less disposable income at the end of every month. Pay rises have not kept up with inflation so the outlook is bleak for retail.
Monpoly, go back to old kent road please. We have huge numbers of sporting events this summer and a big non uk business which still makes this a buy for me - up to 150p at least,
JD isnt a buy at current prices. A lot of consumer spending will decline in the summer. Lots of people are being hit with increased mortgage interest payments in the first half of this year. Reduced disposable income of 3 or 4 hundred pounds per month for most people will cause consumer spending to dip imo.
Grezzz - I'll have to order some to read aha.
Looks like the us haven't had a great day today.
Will be interesting tomorrow!
Dare2tri - Reminds me a bit of reading Viz in my teens..

as for layering will always go on,where big money concerned,do different to other business
i was joking about shooting rabbit,i liked to see wildlife bouncing around fields.
im in cambridgeshire.do shoot more target shoot with rifle
be interesting tues and next week or two,i read every post and yours with interest also
To me that looks like layering, so many opportunities the buyer had to purchase shares at a much lower cost of £1.19
A 10% plus drop is pure market manipulation to fill an order that could be removed.
That is helpful to know Falconer, so do you think it will drop on Tuesday to fill the 5.46m order?
Have a good weekend et al.
