"designed to ensure the BoD are more careful in given estimates of likely work."
true..fair point stokey12
....but most all BOD in growth companies are trying to keep their II's on board, attract new II's , seek City placing investors and also make potential clients believe that they are a company going places.....it is pretty common to be optimistic, and bullish ..from the BOD point of view...
I guess there has to be a little bit of reading between the lines and trying to see what is really possible/probable and what is somewhat bullish optimism
RazorShulz In relation to your 14.34 post I feel my questions are appropriate as they are designed to ensure the BoD are more careful in given estimates of likely work.
NigelHaemoglobin In relation to your 14.16 post point taken.
Pokerchips, agree with what your saying there,I think this placing and investor presentation is before shipbuilding contracts /ML are to be awarded imho lets see
Jabido. I would rephrase shareholder value as shareholder loss, all be it paperless. It really irks me how much JW referred to shareholder value while SP constantly devalued!
Hi Razor, I appreciate where you are coming from and admit the tone of some of my questions were somewhat tongue in cheek. However, the company is a plc and therefore must stand up to and answer any scrutiny by its shareholders. Worded differently these are legitimate questions I want the answers to. The BOD is accountable to its shareholders, and I want them to answer my questions which ultimately centre around shareholder value
Have felt like a sulky teenager lol .. but reasonably encouraged they appear to be fronting up very quickly .. obviously do read the board !
Jabido and Stokey do not bother with incendiary questions. For those of you who want questions answered about how many more placings we'll need to remain competitive, timeline of events etc, this is your chance.
I would suggest we don't act like sulky teenagers and just get some good answers about the company's progress, which we already know from the RNS is going well. Remember they expect cash break-even this year.
Stokey you might need to rephrase your third question as to answer it could create a disorderly market which they cannot do.
Whilst I agree with Mary in the fact that this is an investment and must be seen as a mid term investment ....it sure isn't easy when you feel you have to risk more capital in another placing.....it does begin to feel like being part of a poker game to which you have to throw in more money or be left behind...and even then you still have uncertainty about the probability of being to take anything out from the poker pot
That sense of added risk with added capital is fully understandable
I think there has generally been a good discussion on where things stand at this point ..and both sides of the coin displayed.... very worthwhile I think to ensure you don't get blinded to other particular outcomes than your own belief...
I think the current placing will be worthwhile and I don't see any short term share price movement down being an issue ...if...you believe the placing is for positive growth reasons...
There "appears" to be more positive news due in the short term , if things go the right way.....so....the probability of moving in the right direction looks more likely than not....overall...
My personal concern if any ..is that they currently have a lot of fingers in many pies and the question is whether they are over-stretching themselves and trying to keep too many plates spinning at once..each requiring time and money of course
See what the investor event brings....although .I cant see them announcing any market sensitive information that hasn't already been put out to the market
Jabido In relation to your 13.00 post I will try and attend but as I would be finishing three days of school admission appeals I am not sure that I ill be able to attend in case I do not I would add the following questions if someone could ask them.
What is the conversion rate of inquiries to firm orders as the optimistic tone about ship repair enquiries is not matched by what I am seeing on the Belfast Harbour website.
Currently an email to the investor@infrastrataplc.com email address has based on responses a zero chance of being acknowledged and a 1 in 3 chance of being answered. What steps do you propose to take to improve on this.
Can you provide an update on the Triumph Subsea Services Negotiations do you still feel the LOI would be converted into a contract.
1) when are you and Arun going to purchase more shares to align yourselves more with shareholder's. Suggestion is to use some of the bonus received lately
2) why should I invest more money in the open offer, above current share price? And what measures will you be putting in place to protect and increase the share price value so my investment isn't money down the drain?
3) what value, other than making the decision to pay your bonus in cash, rather than shares, does the current chairman bring to the company?
4) how many notifiable contract wins will require a performance bond, and will this result in more placings?
Anyone got any others?
I didn't realise JR had such a good WiFi connection at his dusty Dallas ranch lol
In case you can't read properly Ewing the RNS have been spelling out exactly what the cash is used for
Spud etc - it is the same messages of blind hope for the past 5 years. Raise equity, dilute existing shareholders, spend the cash on management, share price falls ..raise equity, dilute shareholders,
spend cash on management, share price falls, ... come to the US and the oil rigs of Dallas to make money.
Thought if I did both it would be too easy. :)
Or George. There's the clue lol ;))
And it's not Ringo either. :)
No
ADT,Oh yes at least £10
this was a 3-5 year investment for me .. i’ve been invested for 10 years .. patience is all relative .. but the next 12 months is critical for me (as it’s probably been for the last 3-4 years :) )
If it's any consolation that's why I refer to H&W and Appledore as "acquisitions" as opposed to assets and will refrain from using that word until I see that the yards are generating revenue AND real profit...
Can the sp go up from here? Almost definitely
Will they have to raise again ? Almost definitely
Have untruths been told last 3 years? Definitely (imo)
Will JW and AR take a financial hit if it goes **** up? No
Definition of assets
"an item of property owned by a person or company, regarded as having value and available to meet debts, commitments, or legacies."
Infa "assets" are massive liabilities until breakeven is met and they are actually paid for....
mcadder
ty for the detailed contribution. It just reinforces my rose tinted view of this companies potential. As I have always said £4 or bust for me.
(Continued) .....
Having said that I'm looking to buy a few more here next week...
