If you read the RNS carefully you will note that the purchase was on the behalf of clients of Killick so it is probably clients who bought shares in the placing rather than Killick on its own behalf.
Date they went over threshold is interesting ! 13th, the first tranche of placing shares aren't issued until today?
They have either taken placing shares or bought open market (either way all good)
There's something big happening here imho
Very nice holding
Nice add by Killik!

Good to see the Belfast dock occupied. Did notice the dredger in their yesterday and by the main dock.... maybe expecting some bigger sea dogs :)
If the other Aircraft carrier "Prince Charles" is still being built, they will have no choice but to build more frigates/Cruisers and destroyers, I do not like France having a greater Naval presence than the UK, and in order to defend our borders as a "stand alone country" it will be imperative. and I am sure the Navy is making that point.
Whilst the project is badly needed for Carrier support, is “Spade Ready “ and Team Resolute is in the Premier League Covid yet again has knocked the finances to bits as the Gov seems keen to throw money at nail bars and pubs etc rather than generating “real”!work for “ real” boys .. and gals.
The project should benefit all UK ???? yards and keep the workforce skilled that it is in place . For many years Governments have shied away from supporting critical heavy industries such as Nuclear, Aerospace ,and of course Shipbuilding
Having said that it is probably 60/40!against My sources say that Ben Wallace is a good buddy of Bojo and if Bojo wants to send the Queen Liz to the South China Seas, then it jolly well will need some support not just from the one current active vessel which is well past it’s sell by date . Thoughts to ponder. Chris the link is with The D Tellygraph two days ago !!
Good find, Chris, again .. keep watching and us ship spotters posted .. Dry docking is indeed what we need . One of the other Vikings seems to have moved around to the Cruise Terminal or just by the Dock Gates .. interesting!!
Looks like it is the dry dock for Viking Sun assisted by a tug.

I believe from recent articles in NI ferrysite and Liverpool echo that Viking Sun was always scheduled to return to H&W.
Nice to see JW is starting his clientele list from the top................

It may be a grey day but @VikingCruises certainly brought sunshine to our day as she was the first cruise returning to the terminal! There she goes, bound for @belfastcc for her refit at Harland and Wolff ???? ?? https://t.co/Oh6Nlr6MA6
Interesting that high tide is at 18.13 tonight, think we may have a dry docking? Does anyone know if we need a high tide for large ships
Yes, from me. GLA

Yeah just filter the trolls, I do. You can tell the trolls on this board aren't professionals because they're really obvious and don't even pretend to know the most basic things about the company. They come in here with 1 or 2 posts on their accounts, spew negativity, and never post on any other share boards. I wonder if they think they're fooling anyone.
Morning..........looks like the Viking Sun is on its way back to Belfast/H&W. Hopefully they will be able to dry dock some of these vessels as thats were the real coin is at. As can be seen from recent announcements in the cruise industry you don't get much revenue for parking these vessels.
