Late buys popped up
Nice start for tomorrow's price
Some of the bigger news we have to look forward to in the near term; (feel free to add to the list) News on grant expected in the coming weeks for upto £40m. Potential for further offtake news with a LOI already in place with a blue chip with five others at the table. Financing news around equity/debt at project level of which there are again multiple parties interested and already requesting exclusivity arrangements. Land application update in regards the identified area to situate a further 15 caverns above the 8 already planned.
SGN Natural Gas will be tearing up County Fermanagh for the next 7 months from next Monday, whilst their contractor Kier lays pipes. UK Govt asks why they doing that? (joke)
good point Jimmy. the company is barely worth what has been spent
You're right , sorry Jimmy
Early 2019 it said! But I sincerely hope its this month. SP is holding pretty well. After the funding news it will give people an idea of the companies worth. At the moment it is only worth what the company has spent (£13.5m). Nothing is factored in for the time spent, licences, grants and future potential.
Last rns, project level funding news early jan
How do you know it’s any day ?
PM Extension in middle of day?
Is that good or bad news ?
So seems lower now?
JW has touted around 10p targets so I don’t think he’s overly concerned with his sizeable investment.
As you were
Well I wouldn’t be surprised with your target if it’s met!
Without any of the £40 mill EU grant or future projects. Two of which are under study atm
The 4-5p I mentioned earlier is based upon an equity funding deal that still allows shareholders to retain a decent stake of the equity and the terms of the deal being favourable to us
After such a rise it's only common sense to take profit.
When profit taking gone and news on horizon where will this stop ?
I defer to your considerable research but don’t we need the terms of the equity funding before a view of future share prices can be taken?
Here's a quick recap of one of my recent posts to give you an idea of the sheer value of the project and I've even amended the total amount invested to date from £11.5M to £13.5M as was pointed out to me the other day lol. The answer to your question re where could the SP go is anyone's guess but upon confirmation of an equity funding deal alone should see this hit 4-5p.
(The environment)
• R.O.I & N.I undergoing major gas expansion programme
• Gas to replace Coal, Peat & oil for heating= increased demand
• R.O.I & N.I let down due to isolation/lack of infrastructure
• No gas storage in Ireland means lack of security of supply
• Ireland to miss it's climate change targets by huge margin
• Gas spot price volatility to increase = higher consumer costs
(The project)
• Will benefit 2 member states therefore has PCI status
• PCI status includes storage facility and reverse flow of SNIP
• Strategic asset of national importance
• Qualifies or EU funding (FEED & earlier phases included)
• Ongoing application for another £40M grant (decision Feb 19)
• benefits from UK govt guarantee scheme
• Pioneering fast response facility will be first of it's kind in UK
• Potential reduced Capex costs of £265M from previous 320M
• Economics to be based on daily not yearly price fluctuations
• Advanced talks with 3 blue chip funders(4th now on the table)
• Recent letter of intent from offtaker with 6 interested parties)
• Huge interest with traders will help reduce volatility/prices
• Project has sense of urgency due to closure of Rough
• Application for additional licence for 15 more caverns
• Potential twinning of SNIP (allowing for Rough style facility)
• £13.5M + already invested in the project to date
• Seismic studies show Islandmagee only suitable location
• Potential different uses for caverns (decarbonisation of grid)
• Potential 40+yr life of project with 21.6% forecast IRR
• Fantastic bod comprising JW, GL, AD, JT and AR
• Plus bod who are aligned with shareholders with a decent %
• Full planning consents along with local support (RARE!!)
• Storage licence & environmental impact assessment in place
• FEED fully completed with all recent milestones achieved
• Recent land purchases undertaken
• Numerous LTH'S here unwilling to part with their shares
Well for starters there is a grant application in for £40m which should be updated on in the near future. That alone would dwarf the MCAP to 3-4p before we even touch the sides on the other news fronts.
Hi
are there any forcasts as to future SP, how high could it go ?
Next resistance, if breached it should be a good move up
Recent reported sells at 1.43 to 1.45 were actually buys, the one for 205k was mine
lol. I did slice too early TBH but I am happy keeping what I have now. I want to be part of the journey
Looks like it is dying for some consolidation, but the sells are getting soaked up and it attempts to move up again. Must be a buyer or a leak.
I think the expression might be “you’re gonna need a bigger cigar?!”
