I was not expecting this RNS as we are due a trading update at the end of the month. That said this is welcome news. I note that INFA have passed the initial stage for two tenders totalling £1.8bn both of which they have a reasonable chance of getting in my opinion. Interesting what was said about the Virgin cruise ship. The Appledore contract sounds interesting as well could it be a conversion as the fabrication halls are being used.
Excellent Update and well done to those that called
Dorset Spirit !!
"Hosting" Azura, what it that supposed to mean, she has been there for 3 months?! Free parking to excite the share-holders? Certainly I saw no sign of any work on her in July.
Market can’t ignore us for much longer this is well overdue a re rate from these absurd levels, should be trading nearer 30 at least come on market wakey wakey
BlairPeach ref 07.56 post I noted the rather curious wording in relation to the Azura I have just looked again at my photos from my recent visit to Belfast. While no men working on the quayside there are indications of work such as containers adjacent to the Azura mid way down the length of the ship. In addition while there I saw a taxi drop somebody off and there was at least one person in High Visibility coveralls. The impression I got was that what ever work that was going on was going on inside the ship.
Stokey, if they were working on Azura they would have mentioned it and there would have been pics on social media imo.
A bit like the 3 viking cruise ships, looks good on the dock....
John Wood,
June Update : "we are building a significant pipeline of opportunities "
September Update : " we have laid the firm foundations for rapid growth and the build-up of a contractual pipeline for 2022 and beyond "
well, ..everything is there for the taking.... may the wind now blow into the sails.. as they say
spudtheplumber ref 08.51 post I am not sure that is right. It may be the case that the client does not want anything said about what is being done on the ship. I would observe that the loss of revenue while it is laid up runs into the millions so I doubt that it would be laid up for three and a half months unless it was necessary.
Stokey hydrogen storage ship comes to mind for shipping to mainland Grimsby maybe??
OK Stokey
Given the various update by the company and the government this week, the valuation of the companies assets is more assured and sound. Thus, I feel a per share value is around or just below the current price. With that in mind, no potential upside is discounted. To not put any value on any of the major opportunities is strange. The seller continues to be very aggressive. Volumes have been very high in the last week which emboldens my optimism.
Long way to bring a ship just to be stood there don't you think
Lot of activity around barrow ,helicopters and planes flying around the bay
Despite all the promises and jam tomorrow over the past 18 month it is clearly taking longer than anyone would like to become operational, competitive and truly open for business. They are finally doing a decent job on the last of these three and the other two are coming along in an environment where they are very limited as to what they can spend given the cash position and lack of borrowing facility. The future continues to look bright(er) to the point where you'd think the only reason they could fail is by over extending and running out of cash. Having to sack the newly appointed apprentices would be a PR disaster for government and us so fingers crossed that was a good move. My biggest concern is the persistent seller, with no open short positions declared I cannot figure out who is putting the lid on the SP at a time where there seems to be so many contracts nearly signed. It does still feel like jam tomorrow but the lid is of the pot and hopefully we can stick our fingers in fairly soon. This selling smacks of some kind of purposeful action from those that do want the company to succeed but who could that be, I'd certainly like to know and would welcome anyone's thoughts. To sell these shares you have to own them right? Maybe it is the MMs but I cannot figure it out.
do "not"want the company to succeed.
Sorry - sausage fingers!
FWIW. The company gets an incentive payment to take these apprentices on. How many is it now? Times that by £4k each.
Every little helps... :)

Sounds like things are really starting to take off now, great update!
what is stopping INFA leaving AIM for the Main Market ?
Radders99 ref 11.38 post It depends if they want to go for a premier listing they need a three year trading history. I am not sure if a move to the main market at these prices would be a good idea. A move nearer a £1 share price may have more chance of getting a price that better reflects a proper value of the company. I am not sure if Lottie123 knows if a move to the main market can be done by way of an IPO
Are CFDs available on AIM stocks?
Maybe that’s it then - someone has a put option on us - big time ?!
