Almost all advanced tech systems these days are very simple to install and automated!
Just rig up the apparatus and switch it on. The NHS would not sign off a £4M contract if this equipment could not be switched on in days!
Has that figure come out of your backside?
The USA alone is estimated as needing circa 700,000 ventilators, then extrapolate that out on a global scale and the likes of IHC and many others new to ventilator production, would need to work round the clock for months to supply the demand,....GL S
LONDON — One doctor described the machines as being like "gold."
Ventilators have quickly become the most sought-after medical device in the world because of their ability to help save the lives of some of the sickest coronavirus patients.
What worries experts is that it's increasingly clear many countries — including the United States and much of Europe — have nowhere near enough of them to keep pace with a pandemic killing exponentially more people every day.
The challenge is daunting.
The U.S. currently has an estimated 160,000 ventilators, far short of the 740,000 it would need in a "severe" pandemic like the Spanish flu of 1918, according to a study by the Center for Health Security at Johns Hopkins.
It's because of this that governments around the world have been scrambling to buy and make as many ventilators as possible. President Donald Trump even suggested that states might be better off not waiting for federal help, "if they can get them faster by getting them on their own."

may be think small and gamble on this been a £1 within the time frame
or 60p ???
you have used one life line asking the audience
your welcome to phone a friend or go 50/50
Surely someone on this board can give a figure for how long it takes to get the ventilator to the hospital????
Not strange at all.
And I cant find the information here, incase anyone knows.
Or wait, you probably dont know, just hoping for a quick 10% #dicck
Just don't bother if you can't dyor
Yes but the question is, can ihc deliver the ventilators quick enough before the peak of covid-19 passes within a few weeks in Europe and US??
How long is the turn around time? Will the NHS place another order or would they want the ones already placed to fulfilled first?
Genuine questions before I invest. Anyone able to help answer?
Yeah it's quite important to the turnaround time so then we can see how quickly another order can potentially be placed
Anybody know??
How long will it take to fulfill the current orders that have been placed by the NHS?
I.e. from order being placed to the the ventilator being in the hospital??
Got to imagine that the conversion of the Excel Centre to a hospital will require fitting out & with it being a Covid19 facility a high number of ventilators required
Just the beginning of the re-rate. Contracts on the way as eluded too in the previous RNS
Lombard may have a few left but any dips are an opportunity as despite all the Corona hype this is a good solid company with good management and growth opportunities. Tight free float and only 38m in issue
How long will it take to fulfill the current orders that have been placed by the NHS already?
Unless it’s changed overnight, Cuomo said yesterday he’s short 30,000 ventilators
Relax mate, it will happen just give it time, called it at ncyt at 45p back in early February with only 20,000 global cases- New York are short of 23k ventilators alone
Not showing up on ADVFN site which is used by many. Could be nicely timed if pops up around 9am !!
Nice RNS which should help smooth my NCYT pain this morning. Watch money from there come in here later ( i have a sell limit on the rest of my holding there with a view to an early top up here).
Yesterday. Extremely busy and hinted at allot more work with the NHS. Can see this at £5 plus very soon
IHC in a great position
with orders from the start regards NHS
may we see double digit sp?? along with the announcement in the previous trading quarter commenting,
"Company will achieve double-digit growth over the full year"
and this was announce prior to recent events :)
Do wonder if by 10am a load of profit from NCYT will come this way and to others. With their news tonight i expect a fair bit will move here as folk look for the next multi bagger.
And what i particularly like is a ridiculously low number of shares available.
