I'm a pessimist I'm afraid so will expect what always seems to happen to IAG on a great results day - a big drop in the share price
I sense things are different now somehow this time round there seems to be more confident in the company's prospects. As for the price it will reach I'd expect it to cross the £2 mark maybe £2.05

What have I done to upset you!
Apologies my post at 9.19am is not showing 196
I think the dividend could re start at the end of the year. Am happy to wait
Sorry casio_kid, I missed it!
I think if we get some clear direction on continued positive debt reduction, timeline for restart of dividends, strong forward bookings and now hopefully at last nearing interest rate reductions, we should hopefully be on for a good day tomorrow, not withstanding any curve balls from Ukraine and Israel not already out there and priced in! GLA!!
Clank - I fear you are correct. We seem to live in an inverse world where good profits and a healthy outlook result in a price crash, and vice versa. All very confusing for a plebiscite such as myself, who gets a headache deciding whether to have another Moretti, or a glass of Sauvignon. Anyway, my Friday is already sorted - I have some menial tasks to complete in the morning, then I am off to a rather delightful pub in Portishead overlooking the Bristol Channel to get Wombled. Whether that is to celebrate or commiserate remains to be seen. Ether way, I win.
Greta Thunberg a supermodel? Haven't seen this, but I guess with rampant global warming, she will have no choice but to wear less clothing, so it kind of makes sense. Every cloud has a (climate change) silver lining.
Think Greta's put a bit too much weight on recently to be a supermodel. Think I'd prefer her with clothes or straitjacket on.
1863 - I hear you, but the straightjacket thing is definitely a niche market.
Bobbins..Strap yourself in for today's results. Let's hope we don't get tied up with any shocks. :))
Thriller 40
We defo won't see a ten percent rise today to your £2
Not a chance
Maybe a few percent to around 187 ?? But the way the market goes ,buy on rumour selling on news ,wouldn't suprise me for us to finish red today
I was hoping for 5% on good news. really good news always see 10% on some stocks, this one is under valued still.
for it not to go up at all vs any other stock today is disapointing.
Very disappointing indeed😞🫤
If this was AA in US it would be 10% plus, simple Loser London markets end off
I can’t fking get my head around in a companies publish good result but share tanking what the Fk seriously????
It should at list enter to auction for on good results .
Buy the rumour, sell the news. Old as the market.
Save for another massive worldwide event its only moving in one direction. Over time.
The stock market is a mechanism for moving money from the impatient to the patient. WB.
Tanking? A bit emotional, Buffallo
John Briggs,
When did I say it was or would tank.
My comment was in responce to
"I can’t fking get my head around in a companies publish good result but share tanking what the Fk seriously????"
I dont have any live pricing up (Such as IG) so I cant see what the SP is doing and as I am not selling today I dont need too. Apologies if any missunderstanding. Always find the tone and context of text can be unclear.
Yes sorry I was responding to better life not you.. my bad!
No worries John Bri.
Enjoy your weekend, a good start to the weekend with the results. Lets hope the SP ends on a high.
