Q3 means before after 1st July and before 30th Sept. So we'll drill sometime between these two points in time.
Do we have any idea when they are drilling yet? I know the rig is hot stacked so thats not the issue we must be waiting on the employees?
Since HE1 did the raise and gave a date they have taken off. We need a dateb now to get this moving rather than just "Q3"
I'm not sure anyone said they knew the outcome, simply referring to what is in the company documents RE potential timelines - of which flow testing is scheduled for Q4 (of course the appraisal well has the strike first, that's clear, but that doesn't mean you don't have a plan). My post clearly states the risks involved if they don't find commercial Helium, so DYOR as always.
To help you, as it seems like you may not have even read any of the company's documentation.. timelines can be found on slide 14 of the March 2024 Investor Presentation. And if you would like a comprehensive breakdown of what they have discovered from soil sampling and old well date in the region, instead of guessing with your "if I'm not wrong" statement which is misinformed, all of that can be found in the AIM admission document (on their website) - it's quite lengthy and in-depth so please do knock yourself out on that one.
Appraisal well: exploration well drilled to establish the extent and size of a deposit .
So why everyone acting like you know the outcome .
Gas helium discovered years ago when they where drilling for something else if I am not wrong .
But concentration and other mixtures are more important if this is could be comertial viable or not .
Can be lots of helium mixed with something else and would not be commercial viable so as exploration company risks are there .You ate drill8ng appraisal well on the end of the day .Let see the outcome .
....morning all....
Bo is very clever and the whole timetable has been arranged to maximise the share price
The class clown is back - whodunnit not the smartest tool in the box!
Read and learn and keep your eyes peeled - appraisel well coming up with proven gas then you wireline and flow test/assay the gas for helium - don't regret not owning some :-)
Do I miss something here .
You have not drilled yet but you are talking about flow tests ? What about if first drill is duster?
Did I miss some crucial info here or its the normal BS.
Main aim is this appraisal well, no further drilling will take place until they confirm the Helium in the ground and build the infrastructure.
The results of this will help them with their field design and feasibility study. Plan is to fast track everything from that point, but not expected to see any production wells drilled until later next year (Q3 2025 current schedule).
This appraisal well is big.. obvious risks if they don't find commercial quality Helium, but if they do we will all be very happy shareholders with nothing but good things to look forward over the next year :)
Thanks Iceman
So do we think that they will wait the full six weeks and then drill the second well, or immediately drill again at the end of the first three week drill.
Also as a percentage on average how much could the SP rise on each of the 3 successful drills?
From the RNS dated 23 April we know we're in the queue, so all depends on when the rig becomes available.
With regards to the drill time, the appraisal well is going to target all 4 formations near the Hillison #1 well, with an approximate TD of 8000ft (2500m). Per their AIM admission document, this will take around three weeks to drill with a further month for flow testing.
With flow testing mapped for Q4, I would imagine they had drilling in mind to commence around late-August/early-September - so a bit of patience may be required on this one! :)
This is starting in Q3 - do we have a more specific date yet? Very happy to be invested in HEX, potential is massive assuming positive drilling results. GLA. CJ.
Hey Ceaser!
First well I read is around 2 weeks to drill and then 4 weeks flow testing.
Busy summer!
Has anyone any idea how long it will take to drill this first well and also thereafter to test flow rates and grades etc.
I thought I read someone suggested a 30-day testing period
Cfh, if all goes well with hex, it's possible you won't need that bottom drawer. Congratulations on the 13% in a day. I had a small holding at 1.6p and managed to average down and make 11%. Small stuff but allowed me a top here. GL.
Can't believe weve been dicked by HE1 to such an extent.Went in ther yesterday a for cheeky punt, got out thismorning first thing with a 13% profit.Felt as smug as fuxk uǹtil I saw it hit 28% up.This is definitely the last time I invest any decent amounts in AIM.shares.When I get rid of my HEX shares,I am putting together a portfolio of illiquid AIM.shares(target 15 companies),£150 in each one and leaving it in my bottom drawer for a year or so...see what happens.Have spent 20 yrs checking for RNS's at 7 am and watching sp's defy all financial logic.Time to get a life.
Big day on he1. Managed an in and out after winding up a load of rampers and taking some flack. Proceeds into hex. Feels a lot less risky being in hex than he1. Looking forward to 30p+ next week. GLA.
Watching trades of 50k flash through on ADVFN @26.8 which is above current ask... I'm fully expecting a strong finish here
..taking a good position :-)
Legalwolf... i fully expect 30's next week imho... even the 10% gang can make a profit in the next few days
Easy enough to buy £10K on iweb at 11.58am.
I didn't deal, as I've already bought what I want, but they were quoting 27.28p.
Cannot get a quote to buy for last 10 mins and L2 is sticking up 2 hour old late reported trades
We’re a matter of weeks away from drilling the appraisal well ! Sp should keep moving up as we near to spud !
A new high, love it.
Can sell 100k in one hit full ask at the moment
