Oversubscribed fundraise for gross £5.1m versus gross £2.98m this time last year.
Very relieved at this endorsement of the PLC and management.
Given that cash burn appears to have been reduced significantly in the last six months of reported trading, hopefully this will be the last fundraise required.
The offer is closed on PrimaryBid. Got to take it as a good sign it closed so quickly. Fingers crossed it was oversubscribed. Expect an RNS soon.
Something tells me the market will absorb this pretty easily, recent SP action suggests there's good news bubbling away behind the scenes and this will help them close in on it.
Some positives from the interims announced in Feb 21 to Dec 20 to the unaudited final results announced today to Jun 21:
Revenue at Dec 20 was £1.28m. Revenue at Jun 21 was £2.90m, an increase of £1.62m (a 27% increase on the prior 6 months).
Furthermore, cash at Dec 20 was £1.88m, reduced to £1.64m at Jun 21. That's a cash burn of £40k pcm, down massively on historical figures.
In fact, you could surmise that cash flow break even isn't a million miles away looking at those figures.

Looks like HMG thinks Grephene is a strategic material. This may reflect on Haydale

They couldn't have given much less away in the second RNS could they...I'd love to know what the garment was, what the discipline was and who used it (and what model they won).
I'm sure with some lateral research we can work it out - has anyone else managed it?
this is getting soaked up quite slowly, hopefully we’ll see a nice delayed response to the recent 2 RNS
What's not to like about the last 2 RNS ? Hopefully the share price will move up and find another level of support, 10p would nice wouldn't it? Either way it's solid hold for me. GLA
I think today's RNS is excellent news. By removing the copper mesh from an Aircraft body they can save up to 4 tonnes of weight on large jets by using Haydale Graphene Prepreg as an alternative. It may take a while but in the future I'm sure this will be a significant part of Haydale's turnover as it is a win-win for weight, fuel economy and electrical conductivity for airplane manufacturers.
nonsense, should be 20p by now
We must consider the recent year or 18 months, the hype over renewables, sustainability and tech then we can see that the price @ 1.5p then the consequent rise to 9p, the crash back to 2,7p and the up and down staircase of trading since, is all part of the Hype Cycle, which is now over.
Personally I don't see the value in the cmpany at these levels. Nothing new has really happened to this very small company. At current levels it's massively over priced from it's earlier 1.5p.
We could argue the action has already happened on this one. I see this up and down game continuing down until exceptional News from the company can hold it's price. Though I do anticipate it fallingl over the next 12 months back to 2p.
Woof. Not looking good is it. Back to support at 6p, someone keen to get out?

"Catenae Innovation PLC (AIM: CTEA), the AIM quoted provider of digital media and technology, announces that it has signed a collaboration agreement with ProMake Limited ("ProMake"), a global specialist in material science and medical innovations. Under the terms of the agreement, Catenae will be the exclusive provider of data management services to ProMake to fulfil its position on the Public Health England ("PHE") National Microbiology Framework."
A bit more visibility on the consortium forming around Haydale and ProMake. I've never heard of Catenae before and I can't make my mind up about them, however their LSE chat is quite something.
No doubt, Don. I reckon it may be because they're saving good news for publication of disappointing results.
They've done that the last few updates. However, I like the current strategy... it would appear that they want to be a supplier of raw materials rather than an end product Company. Hence the £1m loan in April to increase production capacity.
Could 21/22 be a transformative year? Fingers crossed, pal.
Good find Lsoc85. I am amazed that they don't make more of this kind of thing - maybe it's not RNS worthy but they ought to at least post about it on LinkedIn/Twitter as it really helps to push the image of a successful business - success begets success and all that.
It's good that they're developing it for aesthetic purposes as well - I'm sure a grout that can stay looking good in bathrooms will be a hit.
Well, well.
Back down the Haydale rabbit hole I've delved, which is my wont of a Wednesday evening, and it appears that a golden nugget has been unearthed.

Incredible.
Hi DrVeteran,
It seems to be an R&D company only. Here is an article about its latest collaboration, and at the bottom some links to its other collaboration (click link).

Haydale and ProMake sign collaboration agreement:
Haydale has announced that further to a memorandum of understanding signed on 11 November 2020, it has now signed a Collaboration Agreement with ProMake Limited with respect to the fulfilment of Promake's commitments under the Public Health England ("PHE") National Microbiology Framework.
In line with the UK Government's aim to supply fast turnaround tests in its fight against Covid-19, PHE announced a new National Microbiology Framework in November 2020. There were four discrete lots within this framework and ProMake tendered for Lot 2 and Lot 4.
Lot 2 consisted of the development of goods and services mainly for research and development, experimentation and study. PHE announced on 23 April 2021 that ProMake was one of 69 successful bidders. ProMake is to further develop their prototype BioPod testing device to provide an immediate PCR test result for Covid-19 and other diseases. The multi-use device will utilize graphene and other nano materials within its electronic testing system.
The aim of Lot 4 was to ensure that there is consistent and affordable provision of high quality, safe and compliant testing services which can be delivered efficiently and effectively to support wider clinical services.
PHE announced on the 21 April 2021 that ProMake was one of 50 successful bidders, with their PreVent testing device that allows users to exhale onto a capture unit that is set within a test chamber. The prototype device collects a higher level of viral load, is less invasive than mainstream testing methods and should reduce clinical laboratory testing time and cost.
The collaboration agreement is for Haydale to be the exclusive supplier of the graphene and other nano materials required for the effective functioning of the Lot 2 BioPod device and sets out Haydale's responsibility for the manufacturing supply of several elements of the Lot 4 PreVent testing device.
The Haydale Board relays that it is premature to provide any guidance as to the timing or value to Haydale of this collaboration, but anticipates being able to give a more detailed update over the coming months.
Gavin Leggott, Co-founder and COO at ProMake, said: "We are working with Haydale on a number of projects. We value their technical advice and project management experience, and they are a vital partner in the consortia that we have put together to deliver on these exciting projects".
Keith Broadbent, Haydale CEO, said: "It has been a privilege to work with such innovative thinkers as Jason and Gavin. The opportunity to assist in the fight against Covid-19 is one that we are keen to be involved in".

As the share price starts to faulter again can anyone tell me when the company is likely to be making money? A year ago I was confident of HAYD being a good earner yet unfortunatly we still seem to be years away from profitability and any prospect of even a small dividend. There is no doubt this should be a good stock to buy, but can anyone offer any positive guidance to counter my growing pessimism on this share not achieving what it should?
In the RNS it states "it is premature to provide any guidance as to the timing or value to Haydale of this collaboration". However, just look at the numbers in the opportunity (LOT 2 : 4 billion GBP) and (LOT 4 : 15 billion GBP) ... Tasty indeed !

Certainly is looking promising.
And in true Haydale - lets not get excited - fashion.
