Interesting article in BBC today:
https://www.bbc.com/future/article/20240610-how-the-concrete-in-your-house-could-be-turned-into-a-battery
They refer to it as carbon cement but I want to understand what is the difference between this and the concretene solution that Haydale was working on. Can somebody explain?

Just found this.https://www.azom.com/news.aspx?newsID=63132 which made me search for anything else re the show at the NEC and I found that Petronas were a major sponsor and hosted a VIP area and that Dileezaa Lurthanathan Head of Advanced Materials at Petronas posted after the show on LinkedIn a 2nd Quarter round up that included a big thank you to Haydale including a picture of her and colleagues with senior Haydale management!! That is not old news.
Old news, Kondratiev me ole comrade! That article’s from the announcement in August last year.
What’s been happening since then? Who knows. The RNSs used to run thick and fast with HAYD but it appears they have sod all to report at the mo. Give us some positive news, Haydale management, please!! A lot of us have a lot of our hard-earned money riding on you and it’s starting to feel like we’re on the precipice.
Looks like Haydale is working closely with Petronas. This looks very promising, I feel very soon there will be a very important breakthrough.

Saw this article today. Not related to Haydale but thought it is encouraging as many people are unaware of graphene.

Lifestyle company for the c-suite. More dilution round the corner, or a sell-off and delisting.
So there will be jam tomorrow. Been here before...
Haydale's trading update is optimistic, showcasing robust long-term growth prospects with strong nanomaterial operations, significant upcoming opportunities in the US and Asia, and positive momentum that is expected to drive substantial improvements and major growth in FY25.

One step forward, two steps back.
Just a thought. Petronas seem to be expanding their LNG operation. I presume Haydale could be v useful to them in making the chilling and cold transportation vastly more efficient.
Or not. I must say I’m fast running out of patience with HAYD. I’ve put an enormous amount of money into this over the last few months, but time is eating on my nerves. Need some RNSs pronto with news of serious money-making potential, on a fast timeframe, based on concrete orders, otherwise that dilution timebomb is going to frighten me and my money out of this door.
I definitely see improvement. Let's keep it up. Great work!
Looks to be warming up. Now just a feather’s tap away from a break-out.
It’s a punt tho isn’t it. It really wouldn’t take much for this one to fly.
Gov help and support with Iain Gray on board at VRS did nothing and they had embedded staff...not so sure it will impact here, VRS went on many gov trade trips and turned out a disaster...
Nice few 1 milion buys.. Good 👍

And movement
040....that looks to be the bottom..imo
News came and price down but not for long IMO
More like 0.21p.
2.1p on the way
AIM-listed Haydale (HAYD) is really scraping the barrel – this morning it announced a grant of £73,610 to be shared between it and Liquitherm Technologies from the Welsh Government, and we don’t even know the proportions!
What we do know is that a division of Liquitherm, Hydratech, has been:
awarded a collaborative SMART FIS to work in partnership with Haydale on the project.
Hmm. Does that sound like Hydratech therefore gets the lion’s share?
This is truly desperate from a company which had to be bailed out yet again just weeks ago at 0.5p per share and the stock is now just 0.41p. The market cap, having raised £5 million (before expenses) in the latest bailout only in September, is just £7.4 million.
As the countdown to the next bailout placing continues, my stance is sell.
Should move soon

Long overdue
Large buys came in see RNS s
Good turaround company
positive news in the wings
Graham Cooley increased his holding from 3.11% to 4.12%
Two big buys today. 6M and 10M, interesting 🤔 Well they looks buys to me..
I remember when this was by far the best performing share in my portfolio, my how times change.
You can have great technology, but if your costs vastly outstrip your income and you're reliant in capital investment, eventually the taps get turned off. AGM went down, with products on the shelf too. VRS look to be heading the same way.
Company isn't going to break even this year, or next. Not looking good IMO.
In the realm of high-tech innovation, few companies shine as brightly as Haydale. Their recent operational and financial milestones paint a picture of a company not just on the cusp of significant breakthroughs but one that's expertly navigating the path to market leadership. The robust 48.3% YoY growth in revenues — particularly from pivotal US markets in aerospace and automotive — isn't just a sign of demand; it's evidence of Haydale's unmatched prowess in addressing complex industry needs.
The company isn't just growing; it's scaling smartly. Haydale's tactical establishment of a regionalized manufacturer's network has already begun reaping dividends, underscoring its ability to adapt and execute with precision. Financially, the juxtaposition of a substantial revenue surge against a mere 12.5% uptick in expenses showcases a company that’s managing its resources astutely while laying down foundational investments for the future.
But perhaps the most compelling reason to bank on Haydale is its unwavering commitment to pushing the boundaries of innovation. The accolades earned by their HDPlas® HT1400 Plasma Reactor are not merely awards; they're endorsements of a groundbreaking technology that has vast market potential. Factor in strategic partnerships with industry giants like Saint Gobain, Cadent, and Petronas, and you have a company that's not just poised for success, but one that's actively defining it.
In short, investing in Haydale is more than just backing a company; it's securing a stake in a transformative future, led by one of the brightest torchbearers in the high-tech industry today.
p.s
Just my opinion
Looking pretty good overall..... plenty of things to be positive about. But 10% drop yesterday... this has to improve!
This has to be the bottom surely! (rhetorical question)
No bottom
045?...i think that could be the bottom..
lets see
Few nice buys today, I hope we will see some positive moves in share price next week.
Positive sign of the sp re rate, would be nice.
All these 0.765p trades are buys I have checked. 1.5 million buy, a few more of them and it might make a dent into the overhang and if it clears you watch the herd chase it again
Well PYC was like this a few days ago friendless with a overhang and look at it now, things can change very quickly in bombed out penny stocks once they get a bit of momentum
Apparently not!

I think/hope this is good news, though am still trying to get my head around yesterday's news regarding the creation of 'deferred' shares...
So for the bargain price of £2.1m Octopus Investments now own 23.37% of the company...I wonder if they see any synergies between Haydale's underfloor heating and Octopus Energy...
A fellow investing compadre reckons that Haydale’s concrete coatings could be used to reinforce RAAC… anyone know anything about that? On the surface it does seem like a perfect outing for graphene and a potential cash cow… Too hopeful?
Unlock the power

Sales are around £2.5m per year for around £7.5m in costs. There comes a point where a company can no longer raise cash to sustain a loss making concern.
Thing about this lot is they have a product that tickles investors fancies. It will drop to around 0.3 or lower, as it has done a couple of times before, then out of the blue they will announce a "collaboration" with an aircraft builder, or ship builder, or car manufacturer and it will be back up over a penny in the blink of an eye. All about timing.
I used to think that HAYD and VRS may have a future until I realised that it's run by a bunch of commercially clueless nerds that have no concern for shareholders - WHATSOEVER..
They couldn't sell a boat to someone stranded on a desert island. It's just more false dawns and pointless grants, inflated ego's and salaries, with most of the money for this inept vanity project paid by those too underwater or too stupid to realise it will never fly..
Disappointing but not surprising. How low can the share price go now?
The First RNS this morning looked like trouble and the second, 8hrs later confirmed it. Just fancy that. This company has been running downhill for some time. Few funds left but better with me than them. Good luck to those who stick it out

In the last 2 years the company have raised 5m
And 4.5m for years 2021 & 2022..the question is will they again raise in Sept or Oct 2023..and if so at what price ...the share is currently on its knees.
