‘New opening to support growth and customers throughout Nottinghamshire’
Lords, a leading distributor of building materials in the UK, is pleased to announce that AW Lumb, which operates within the Merchanting division, have opened a new branch in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. The branch marks the first new site for AW Lumb’s in over 40 years and comes two years after AW Lumb joined the Lords Group.
Located on the Crown Farm Industrial Estate, the new branch provides 27,000 sq.ft. of warehouse and office space and sits within a 2.9 acre site. The location is ideal for supporting the existing AW Lumb branches in Tamworth and Dewsbury and between them they can expand their delivery network across the Midlands and beyond.
This new branch will allow AW Lumb to support more of its customers across the Nottinghamshire region, offering the same quality products, expert advice and friendly service its customers rely on to build. It is a key step in the Group’s ambition to grow organically; with more locations, better stock availability and a team that really understands what customers need. The branch will also provide several new jobs in the local community, and another opportunity for Lords to put its 3 P’s model of investing in our People, investing in our Plant and investing in our Premises into action.
