These are the facts. I agree with the conclusion.
TDF, do you have the documented and publicly available data to back that statement up?
Ill wait.
Its called an RNS
Sorry. Just picked myself up off the floor.
One thing is for sure .The SP at HARL is going to be a hell of a lot higher ,when we get the RNS stating that the £ 200m revenue forecast for 2024 has already been beaten. This could well happen on the next Contract. Remember the Sea Rose and how that came out the blue. The BOD may well have not communicated as well as they should have, but the plus side is the future contracts in discussion that we don't know about. Hold on to your hats.
On a lighter note I was liking to £10.10 price that the FT printed today.
H&W shares fell more than 28 per cent on Tuesday before recovering half their losses to close at £10.10, valuing the business at less than £18mn.
😁
Mary,i have always believed that The Financial Times was a Forward Looking paper (:
TDF, let's see shall we, not been anywhere near accurate to date have you?... hitting revenue is one thing, eye watering debt and losses are another.
Poltics of support for H&W should not be underestimated. This from Gavin Robinson: The resurgence of H&W has been fantastic for Belfast and more is yet to come. Today's headlines are wide of the mark. Strong support for the yard in London.
Emotional and as iconic as the yard is to BF, take all that away and it's just a failing business. When it comes to investment, it's the balance sheet / risk and everything else commercial that matters, not emotional attachment...
'emotional attachment'
the irony is stunning.
Jamsie, I'm not emotionally attached to H&W, I am emotionally attached to JW and what he's done. Totally separate love.. x
Haha, sure you are.
Did he cheat on you with your sister or something? Or turn you down?
youll get over it, some day.
James2k66 - JW has previous for running a business into the ground & leaving a string of unpaid debts. Maybe history is going to repeat itself.
"I am emotionally attached to JW and what he's done"
Putting all judgements aside Consuela, what has he done that has affected you? That's a sincere question.
Wonderer, dont expect any sort of sensible answer. Think about it logically. It claims not to have been an INFA shareholder, so as you inferred it must be personal. If JW had in fact done something " Bad" , then im sure we would have been informed of it by now. My guess is , its the other way around and its too embarrassed to tell us the truth. Its the only expalnation that makes sense.
TDF do your research on JW, let me know what you find....
Wonderer, i told you you wouldn't get a straight answer. Its never given one. Smells of guilt.
My thinking is if others on this message board understood the underlying grievance, i.e. what this is really about, then they'd be less hostility from both side. I would emphasise, as I'm sure others would, if we knew a bit more about the nature of the issue with JW. Unless we ask, Consuela's issue might go beyond the historic Infra context.
*empathize
Right first time. :)
We should also give Consuela the space to say whether they only have a grievance for JW, or if they also wish for financial loss of current HARL private investor holders.
It was JW in the library with the lead piping
