Welcome back to the board Dog.
Kaeran 14:19 - Sounds more like a song for a knocking shop than defence sector.
BT - How dare you post such sensible concerns, into my filter bin you go.
No financial or general business update still means a strong sell to me.
Lottie123 - Your posting has become very bitter of late, a couple of years ago I used to look forward to the information you supplied & thoughts on HARL. Maybe you should stick to canvassing for your Romford seat in the General Election when ever that maybe. Hope you show more respect for your prospective constituents than your petulant outbursts of late on here.
Kaeren 14:40 - HARL are struggling to find accommodation for contractors in Stornoway. It's also not an easy or cheap commute from the mainland for workers to go home at the weekend.
Scaffman 18:19 - Maybe you didn't see the original post from K last week (it was removed) it referenced the term 'kiddy fiddler'. BT has no need to apologise.
Bubble2021 - Is your 'selective Wi-Fi' playing up again?
MayAnya - Not negativity, just reality, bit like your HARL investment, dropped from 19p when you bought to 11p now - cracking investment.
Kaeran 01:06 - 'They will be shocked at how IOSSG have misled people' Did it cross your mind JW & Arun have been doing the same to shareholders while manning the bridge of the HARL ship?
Kaeren - 13:05 - Pot calling kettle or what? You were upset when The Dog accused you of being an alcoholic, your statement is much worse. Should be ashamed of yourself.
'You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you cannot fool all of the people all of the time'. Attributed to Abraham Lincoln and widely used by the Harl board.
Citizenlane - Your post from 23rd March 2023, share price 13.875p - 'Not long to credit facility and IM news now...place your bets pretty cheap at these prices imho. Has to be a £50+ company given the order book a bit of good news should spark a rerate'.
Given a year has elapsed JW has had ample time to turn the company & share price around, guess what no news and the share price is now 10p. Not looking good Citizenlane is it?
Nojy - Some would have you believe debt deals get better for insolvent companies & the market cap / share price will multiply when a finance deal is announced, if you research HARL's accounts & broker forecasts the opposite may well happen. 'No news is good news' does not apply to HARL, the share price reflects the lack of news and integrity associated with JW & Arun.
I sincerely hope Harland & Wolff as a company survive, I have grave concerns for the current shareholders though.
Bubble2021 - Thought you had me filtered? Or is your Wi-Fi playing up again? Maybe you like reading some useful information rather than posting fiction about my employment status. I have the right to post on the board or are you another keyboard warrior that only accepts positive input? Only thing you seem to get right is 'typo apologies'
SYN00GOLD - UKEF is not run by 'ministers' so how can a minister approve the finance deal? Another JW play on the truth.
Stokey12 11:13 - Probably to keep HARL afloat while JW tries to steer the ship from the rocky shore. Lifeboats at the ready shareholders, doubtful the RNLI will assist though, the losses here are Titanic.
It's becoming obvious after 16 months waiting for a new finance deal that HARL is not currently creditworthy. Even under a lower rate of interest HARL would not be able to repay the debt with losses & cash burn forecast beyond 2025. UKEF would do well to steer their well managed ship away from the rocky shores of Harland & Wolff.
Mf12 - Information from RCOI Website. 2023 Annual Report page 13. Available to all, no paywall.
Marcosino - Maybe investing in penny shares is not for you, have you considered a cash savings account? If you can't stand the heat get out of the kitchen!! Just for you 'strong sell' Lots of love, Tosspot x
Riverstone released their 2023 accounts recently, the loan as at 31st Dec 2023 was $100m (Dollars to avoid any confusion) and was upsized to $115m in February 2024. I made an error in my last post, the yield to maturity is 19% plus warrants (not the 13.2% I originally quoted).
Apparently HARL are capitalising interest rather than paying it, so the loan gets BIGGER, hence the new charge to accounts.
