Broomtree ref 18.16 post whether you are right or not and I am not going to be drawn on that this government has repeatedly breached the Ministerial Code which says that any major policy decision has to be announced in Parliament first. So whether or not they by convention should not do something is going to be concerned by.
Interesting study just came out on de ramapers and Pastors

TDF / Bearly calls / Gailgirls / TinyTim / Phil / etc academy of predictions volume 284. Finance news next week, how fab. Still waiting for your £1-£5 party after the ML JR which kind of went South.... 😂😝
You'd like it to fit, however it doesn't.
They mean new policies or appointments of senior public officials , not BAU throughout ministerial departments.
Harl Free cash Flow. I think Karen has Finally understood its true intentions. Wasn't it Judas that professed to follow Jesus, before becoming a Snake in the Grass. Hmm, how did it work out for him. Finance news next week . For those that care to Hang Around.
Stokey - My last was a question to you as you are better informed but certainly the guidelines suggest this to be the case:
What are the restrictions for general elections?
During a general election campaign the government continues to govern and ministers remain in post. However, because the election could lead to a change of government and parliament has been dissolved, there are a number of restrictions in place on what government can do. The main ones are:
Ministers are supposed to “observe discretion” in initiating new policy or action of “a continuing or long-term character”. Such decisions are supposed to be delayed until after the election, unless they are unavoidable, or delaying them will be detrimental to the national interest or waste public money.
Government activity – including the activities of public bodies – should not compete with the election campaign. This means that announcements and government communications are also restricted.
Government resources are not allowed to be used for party political purposes.
Ministers need to ensure that the political impartiality of the civil service is maintained.

The relevant bit being: "action of “a continuing or long-term character”. Binding in the incoming government with a £200 million loan guarantee would fit in that. Still I'm happy to see how it pans out, simply a thought
Kaeren, He has always been out of his depth, thus the FCF nonsense. I the reaching out to Higher powers was a Hail Mary. Its a pity that he is uncapable of being more Cristian. Mind you, there is always the Next Life, or new name.
PS. Having taken a look at the Anglican website. It doesn't appear that they are banned from using social media ( as someone claimed). Perhaps he was actually MI5.
You are way out of your depth Broomtree , go read Wade or Bingham and come back & post.
I assume you mean legislation , but even then you are off target , massively. A loan guarentee has nothing , absolutely zero to do with what you are attempting to say.
Stokey - I would have thought the Parliamentary constitutional principle, that one parliament cannot bind its successor, would apply here?
Radders99 ref 16.03 post I am not sure you are totally right. as the relevant Minister will still be in office during the election campaign it is possible to get Ministerial approval during the campaign.
Nothing to stop the finance deal being concluded & announced next week. After that it's post election.
Direct from the Darlek.
Just my opinion, solid order book inc FSS with much more to come over the next six months, bags of real estate and equipment, yard upgrades. TR-1's probably in the post. 9/10 probability of IM success.
Even with the debt I can see 1.30 to 1.50 a share.
Is Harland and Wolff producing FCF as one poster recently suggested. Hmm.

Looks like your getting it wrong at every level.
If a £10.27k purchase is considered a ‘big buy’ it probably says more about the difficulty Harl has at the moment attracting Institutional investors; rather than pointing to anything
Yesterday was evidence of a trading opportunity that some Retail Investors took but that quickly dissipated as RS departed
I’m not sure about a ‘nod’ to JW when RS didn’t actually visit Harl but rather Artemis which is just next door
I don’t fully understand the workings of Parliament when in its current state but I do suspect we won’t get a result announced until after the election now but time will tell
Is this some kind of joke? Since when was a 10k trade a 'big buy'. That said I think there is a 7/3 chance that Richi will announce the UKEF loan. Let's be honest, the Conservatives have literally nothing up their sleeve for the election..,
The non holding Sado"s. are really getting desperate. They must have really empty lives to post on a share, on the weekend, that they dont hold. Positive conclusion to the Finance deal next week.
Helping HARL's finances out - After all his is known as Plan B.
Its hear.

Things are heating up. Rishi in Belfast, giving JW the Nod.
Si, well we may see funding news before wash up then 30th May
Well I didn't find it interesting . Have a good weekend 😅
Kaeren ref 17.08 post what I found interesting was how little has been spent on the guarantee. This suggests poor marketing leading to a low take up.
Big buy where?
