That's what I read too. Hopefully not too many restrictions!
Allegedly there’s a Govt. announcement at 17:00 tonight on re-opening timetable for gyms. Last chance today at this share price (hopefully...!) DYOR
Mud July ish according to government. Not long
Won't be long when government announces gyms opening.. Then they will flood back.
Young people are very bodyconscious
Yeah I like this company alot. Still holding out a little while longer.
I see an improved price coming, I could be wrong but I will hang on until July begins.
Feel this is a brilliant long term.
Government due to announce gyms own too soon. Mid July is mooted.
All this ppl can't wait to get back to training. U cant lift weights or squat in the park. Great cheap rates too.
Great Co. Great future
Shame but getting closer to re opening . 3 months ago if you said gyms would be re open this year you would have been very surprised .
2nd wave winter though I think Is a real possibility
Boris's post-lockdown blueprint: PM HALVES two-metre rule to let households meet indoors and stay OVERNIGHT from July 4 and confirms pubs, haircuts and weddings are back for the summer - but nail bars, gyms and swimming pools will stay CLOSED
Looks good overall . Slightly worried about the maximum capacity issue . Extra costs in running the gym . Will that means prices to increase to members perhaps

Gym group are ready

Good good . Italy has seen a huge surge in people hitting the gym after putting weight on in lock down
Also the fact that if overweight then high risk covid might help . Interesting to see how the gym membership numbers holds up..along as not a disaster we will get the numbers back up over time I am sure

from article above
I think we are unaffected by many factors that would be worrying for investors.
When the recession happens, people will still go to the gym, those sadly out of work will pay the membership fee.
The virus will make people want to be healthier, both young and old.
If there are spikes around the world, as long as we control the virus here then the business is unaffected.
Any UK/EU fallout due to Brexit won’t have any affect here.

I think this is a very good company. But I invested at 286p, and then covid came along . . .
I've been reluctant to invest further in order to average down as we COULD see a big dip in the SP when the financial damage that's potentially been done is realised. I think that in the long term this could be a good target for a private equity buy out.
I'm in long term whether I like it or not :-)
Be careful what you pick atm, the waters are rather choppy
GLA!!
Hi all!
New to the investing world here! Just trying to gather as much info as possible before i start investing for the med/long term. That being said, does anyone think this has potential to reach it's all time highs again/surpass them? I'm not aware of any other fitness company that is listed like the gym. From personal experience of being a member myself for the past 3 years, i can see just how far they have come and how well run the company is.
I dont suppose it makes all that much difference in the long run.
Sound future here.
Good luck!
Coruuna. Good thinking. I kept half the powder dry here to top up. I don’t think they will fall below £1.40 as there’s strong support £1.40-1.50.
Good luck.
I will be joining too, happy to wait for a better price. Solid long term.
News of gym s reopening will boost the sp.
£1.56
Very happy.
They need £30 million more than they thought a few weeks ago is how I read, it implying that the trough is deeper. But DYOR. Rent quarter at the end of June. Interesting times.
All I can see is gym have extened loan facilities at 3 banks... Any other reason u see for a drop?
Any news anyone?
