Looks like they have beaten us to it and they have lower fees 0% for makers and 0.09% sellers...
It’s a big market! Plenty to go around.
More movers and shakers may indicate UK PLC (FcA) are actually going to legislate relevant laws that are needed to regulate.
Roll on June/July.
Yes i agree Billy it would indicate that progress is being made and our fca regulation and services will come to fruition shortly. GLA
I assume that Revolut X doesn't have FCA Approval at this point in time so it would need to apply wouldn't it?
Looking at the revolut site, it looks like this is a trial extension for Revolut only customers and is desk top only. The main Revolut site states that crypto can already be traded, so not sure this is any more than a beta trial atm
The slightest sniff of good news sees the Sp jump 20-30% it’s not far away keep the faith 👍
Redandy59 ,,,,, soon as the approval comes and the figures for income are announced ,, a lot of people will pile in here ,, 20 to 30 percent will be nothing , I don't think it would take long to hit 4p or 5p
As has been posted by many , of the income figures were any good then they would not have needed to raise £1.2m recently. I agree with those who believe the income generating has only just got underway so expect numbers in July to be underwhelming. It’ll get there but will taken time.
Thanks for your sharing your expertise Roger.
Ffs Rog, then you'll go into same box the investors you agree with are in then, the clueless box. I mean why would a publicity listed micro cap raise money.... lol. You lost 6 figured in Gdr, you could have made 6 figures here, I strongly advise you to leave this investing lark to the us, and you and your clueless 'why would they need a raise morons' simply find something better to do with your money.
Ridiculous.
In an interview some time ago, Goh said that we're going to be part of multi-trillion dollar market.
I'd say they'll be enough cake for everyone.
Let’s hope you are right Star
To my understanding, Revolut have more than enough funds to support its use... not so sure that's currently the case with GST?
bit of a difference between having the money and seeking approval vs. seeking approval and looking for it to give a boost to revenue.
isn't it fair to say that we'll need to be showing healthy revenue before getting that approval?
Would've thought, though, that the current price (and any lower!) will benefit from a rise into results.
‘isn't it fair to say that we'll need to be showing healthy revenue before getting that approval?’
Simple answer is NO.
"We propose that issuers would be required to fully back stablecoins with deposits at the Bank of England. No interest would be paid on these deposits. Combined with the other protections proposed in this discussion paper, this would aim to ensure that the stablecoins maintain their value and can be used for payments with full confidence. "
somewhere down in this page: https://www.bankofengland.co.uk/paper/2023/dp/regulatory-regime-for-systemic-payment-systems-using-stablecoins-and-related-service-providers
Yes Kat that is something then need to be able to develope, they have to have the cash in the bank to back their stablecoins or deposits via their neo banking platforms/gs20. This is why I’m pretty sure they will apply for the DSS sandbox so they have time to build up that cash resource.
Simple answer, eh, Billy!
Morining Kat.
Asset ratio is 1:1 no more than anyother held and protected by BOE. Simpler intsrutment of bonds can cover this. Just to help you the way 'The banfk of Dave was set up'
However you have to have a working system/platform/security etc and the rest will come. Hence why you buy up other companies show a track record on revenue/transaction. NOT every company makes up from the getgo.
I hope you going top play nice this week!!
Should direct that question to the sp, not me...
How can you direct a question to a share price????? NURSE! he's stolen the strong pills again..lordy kat at least it wasn't one of you patheticly ignorant rambles. Try and keep the narcissistic headlines to a minimum this week lad.
Could I also point out that revolout has an mcap in the many billions. More likely to buy us out than compete
