£22k buyer last week was confident!!
welcome Davy50
Gscu been good today.
Had a look earlier, has a lot of cash which in unusual so no fears of a horrible placing and has dropped a long way, poor market so only took 100k, in a normal more liquid market I'd have gambled on a lot more

RNS out but not what I was hoping for, especially as it is 2/3 months since the last update.
The assays for Hole SLD005 have finally been received but funnily they haven't been released as they are being 'assessed and validated.' That probably means they are not much good or otherwise they would have been released straight away.
I feel that this outfit is going to struggle with its Main Market listing. They would have been much better on AIM.
It doesn't have to be a podcast - just a RNS will do!!!!!!!!!!!!

The core photos are on Pages 11 and 12.
It's a shame that the management here has such abysmal communication skills as I think that these prospects have great potential. I don't mean that the management is bad at communicating but rather that they don't seem to bother at all. It's dreadful and is reflected in the lame share price and complete lack of trading and posting, especially considering that this is listed on the Main Market.
The drill campaign must have finished some time ago now but the market has not been informed. Why not? With a struggling share price that should be a matter of course.
Also we were told that core for 324 metres of Hole SLD005 was sent for assaying around the 12th September, so the results should be available soon but we have not been informed how much further core has been sent for assaying. I see that on the latest presentation, dated 27th September, the core from Hole SLD008 looks very interesting so I would suspect that must also be due some assay results. And what of the other holes?
The CEO says that this could be a large porphyry system with big volumes and low to medium grades but there is also the possibility of some higher grades as the trenching came up with grades as high as over 3% copper.
The market needs an update. They are no longer a private company and shareholders funds have paid for this drilling campaign so it is only right for the management to give that back with a regular flow of news.
AJMO
FAO whoever removed my post on this thread re suspicious trading activity.
Please be aware that the FCA have now been informed. They have all of the details of these suspicious trades. This is under full investigation so beware, you have been rumbled. No doubt they will be contacting the guilty parties very soon. Insider trading, however big or small, is illegal. There can be no excuses.
More a tactic by the brokers to move the share price up by nearly 100% before the late release of an update. This tactic is usually applied when there is an ailing share price and nothing much in the way of news to come out, which is pretty much what we have here.
Anyone who watched the video from the site visit already knows that there is copper in the area - they have that right for sure - but the question is always how much and at what grade. Also here, as the RNS said, the question is whether there is any gold in sufficient quantities as the trenching results didn't appear to find much.
I think punters were half-expecting to see assays for hundreds of metres of copper at 3% grades but instead we have a rather flat RNS that reiterates that this prospect is very much in the scout drilling stage, with a long way to go before any real news.
But at least we now know that this is a leaky ship!!!!
Exploration is ALWAYS slower than we would like. The important thing is to get it right.
It looks as if we are in the right place , with the right minerals and markers (Mo). The proof obviously will be in the core analysis + fire analysis. But to my mind this looks sound.
It may be a 'tactic / strategy' to trickle information out to feed the SP?
This seems to be going very slowly.
I think that punters were expecting assay results but instead all we have is news that they have completed 1667 metres of drilling in two months. That is very slow going.
Also out of the five holes drilled so far, only samples from SLD005 appear to have been prepared and sent for assaying. Does this mean that the other holes have not shown any great promise or was SLD005 the first to be drilled and ahead of the other 4 holes. SLD005 appears to be the only hole that was deepened and thus which showed good promise.
There appears to be at least another months of drilling to go here just to get this first short drill campaign finished and the assays no doubt will be coming through just as slowly,
"We look forward to updating investors on progress in the coming months." - with I think the emphasis on "coming months".

Copper exploration in Chile
GSCU CEO has excellent record
WORLD famous Havieron gold discovery (how many bags did GGP do)?
CEO Samuel Garrett has over thirty years of exploration management assessment and operational experience including discovery of gold and copper projects.
b. Sam's career includes discovery and development credits for the Mt. Elliot Cu-Au mine (Qld), Dinkidi Cu-Au mine (Philippines), Tujuh Bukit Au-Ag-Cu mine (Indonesia) and the Havieron Au-Cu project (WA). Sam is supported by renowned explorationist and ore-finder Mr. Doug Kirwin, who has over 45 years experience and serves as a Technical Advisor to the Board;
was part of Havieron world class Gold exploration team which GGP did 100 bagger
could this do similar?
with copper demand and the huge grades 20 Bagger is on at least!!!!
I like the fact the company are confident that their early work suggests that the geology and style of alteration-mineralisation observed at San Lorenzo is consistent with alkalic-type porphyry Cu-Au deposits such as Newcrest Mining's Cadia.
If this thesis is correct then shareholders here are in for some truely spectacular gains ahead.

Looking forward to tomorrow
NT to buy for most of the day in any size.
Same again as we build towards news.

Nice to see a steady daily climb up the risers board as we move towards incoming drill results.
SP could easily double or triple on news of a decent strike.
Won't take much and very sticky holders in a 5p are expecting big things here.
GLA
just noticed Code 1 printed
news definitely coming
More results coming anyday now as Drilling started in the morning early July, expect this to do really well on results.

· Confirms potential for large mineralised system
Great Southern Copper plc (LSE: GSCU), the company focused on copper-gold exploration in Chile, is pleased to announce that it has received final assay results for 526 samples from the Phase I and Phase II trenching programmes at its San Lorenzo copper-gold (Cu-Au) project.
Highlights:
· Twelve of the thirteen trenches excavated recorded anomalous Cu-Au geochemistry and/or significant widths of variably oxidised porphyry-style sheeted fracturing.
· Results confirm anomalous porphyry style Cu-Au mineralisation associated with monzonitic intrusives. Trench CET009 returned anomalous Cu-Au assays ranging from 224ppm Cu to 3.51% Cu over a 57.8m wide interval including visible copper observed over intervals of 20.5m and 17.2m.
