This share is an interesting one, it can shift massively on very little news. I tend to try to forget about it until we get some real progress in Syria, but I definitely do not want to be out of this share if positive news ever does land. As the potential is huge, especially from this low of an sp, I look at this one as my wild card.
For some reason, the price has moved up after a series of buys. Anything in the news regarding sanctions?
I'd wait a bit longer. If (when) sanctions are renewed in June, my feeling is that the SP will drift back to 2/3p.

watching and waiting...
Good to see these matters being handled in a timely fashion.
I see the EU are not too happy about his efforts to ramp up sanctions against Russia over Syria.
To buy into this tomorrow. A friend of mine took the dive today with 100,000@5.47p
quite obvious if it bottom 2.85 it'll ride to 5.35 then 8.8 then 13.26 then 15.2
I said this would fall back. Hope people got out and didn't listen to people ramping it up. When this war ends the share will rocket but I don't think it's ending soon. 3p seems a safe place to buy in.
that's rubbish because the sp is down 10% today , doesn't correlate with oil and has no revenues. Cash burns on management when the asset looks further away from realisation. How'd that for justification? I'll do a Balanced YA video for you lads to shows the good and bad of investment here. Tbh 3p mid is my short term prediction due to it's previous situation when syria had no advance. it boomed to 13 I remember selling around 9 from buying 3.8p but that has equated to smoke and mirrors, personally syria comps are a no go with the outlook rn. Usa and russia talk etc...
I'm invested in a few different AIM listed companies, and I find it interesting that all of a sudden and out of nowhere, all these expert soothsayers that can predict the future suddenly know what the share price will be. They post a few predictions of dire share prices, don't back it up and then you never hear from them again. I also wonder if they are invested or what interest they have in the company. If I was cynical, I would be led to think they are trying to scare people into selling and consequently lowering the sp to something more to their liking. Unfortunately, no one knows what the sp will be in months to come or what will be happening in Syria. The sp will be what it will be when it will be. I'm hoping it to be higher, but wouldn't dare predict what it will be as my crystal ball is currently broken. But despite what these mystic megs say, I'm more than happy to hold for the long term. GLA, peace in Syria, and all that jazz
YouTubeAnalysis - presumably that SP prediction takes account of a fall in POO to say $5 per barrel and another 10 Placings LOL!
should go to 1-3p because this move today has completely changed the outlook for syria..
Wongo - interesting take and you are entitled to your view - I might suggest the heightened tension may stimulate more pressure at the UN to reach an early solution but who knows for sure !
with what was a glimmer of hope now becomes a tragedy for the the people of Syria the Russians and Americans squabbling like two boys in the play ground assad doing his impression of a dictator on steroids and the people in the middle this looks to be the position that will be in place for a long time to come point being sanctions will not be lifted for the foreseeable future. Share price should drift to its last 2 year average, pity it would of been a good one to have in your portfolio.GLA
I dont see this going up anytime soon now as the other day there was sarin gas explosion and again i see the dark forces behind the scenes are doing best to destroy syria and they wont stop until assad is removed and western puppet leader is installed
The European Union's top diplomat says the United Nations, EU and world financial institutions have begun technical work to figure out what will be needed to rebuild war-ravaged Syria. EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini said Tuesday that the work is meant to foster peace efforts by giving Syrians a sense of their post-conflict future. Speaking on the eve of an international conference on Syria, Mogherini said "it is easier to imagine peace if you are given some hope that that process can be supported by others." She said that too often in the past, the international community has appeared "taken by surprise (by) the end of the conflict." Officials from 70 countries are expected in Brussels for the Wednesday conference following reports that a suspected chemical attack killed dozens in northern Syria.

I agree and want to see political settlement.I just dont see one at present.Of course all can have opinions.
Crossroads - everybody entitled to their view - IMO a political settlement would be beneficial and would also be a good thing for GPX, particularly if the corollary is lifting of EU Sanctions- that's why I'm interested in posts about political developments!
Politics will pay no part in share price only greed imho
USA has just said getting rid of Assad is no longer its policy. This is a change from Obama's position, and a welcome clarification from Team Trump on just what its policy on Syria will be. IMO it was ludicrous to insist on Assad going from the moment Putin threw his weight behind him. Especially as Obama dithered, and didn't attempt to match the Russian commitment (although that in itself could have been fraught with danger). So, that leaves the EU looking increasingly isolated, now standing with just Saudi (who are waging a proxy war with Iran) and Qatar (who want to build a pipeline to Europe through Syria, which incidentally Putin wants to frustrate) in demanding that Assad goes. They've said so in their most recent policy statement, but it predates USA pulling back. Which will make what they say on 5 April very interesting. Their policy and sanctions, which has undoubtedly exacerbated the flood of Syrian refugees into Europe, is looking increasingly like King Canute ordering the tide not to come any further. Will the upcoming French and German elections finally force a sliver of clarity into the bubble of self delusion and denial of reality that is Brussels? I'm not back in yet, but GPX is moving towards the top of my watch list.
