Last few days of July so good luck all, it's been a long wait and I'm fairly positive that we will see some improvements here finally..
Well Monday 7am it is then....If not then its going to be a bit of a wait in August I personally think half way through August, the s.p will start going bonkers a day or hours before the r.n.s is released...
Bit surprised there's no price movement at the mo. Thought it would be going up (or down) pending audit news by now. Unless lack of movement means the current price reflects the market view on the share value post news!!
news is due any day now,4.5m cash from second last RNS. small profit due in results, from last RNS. market cap 1.23m!!!!!!!,,,,these should be worth 7p-10p
I'm hoping news by end of month
It's like sittingat the dentists waiting room waiting for news here. We're not sure when the news comes if it's going to mean pain or relief?
Not sure £3k's worth of trades in last 24hrs can be MM's shaking the tree! Just as likely to be PI's getting nervous for bad news. Mind you, with so few shares around, it doesn't take much to move the price. My view is that this isn't actually going to do anything exciting when results are announced. Sadly I think we have to wait at least another year to get this moving in the right direction
Remember they also have 4m tucked away which would should mean mark cap is around 5-6m rather than 1.2m..the s.p should be around 11-13p...I personally think they are being artificially held down like a lot of comps on aim at present. also news of the new saas clients coming online as yet to be stated, and a lot of last years profits were lost due to a lot of streamlining and ensuring higher % profit returning from existing clients..Also some of the big boys are holding big chunks of GNG, and decent size buys send the s.p flying, GLA ...
That's what we're all expecting, but be cautious with this one and please DYOR. GNG has had the odd nasty surprise in the past! I think the concensus now is that 2.75-3.25 is bumping along the bottom and the next news will raise value - but there are never guarantees.
you meant "sell the dog" to secure more funds to buy rather then 'sell the dog' Lol agree with serious that the current price looks a very opportune level for an entry / top up with good nearer term prospects for a rise but stressing longer term (in line with China recovery) for the really big progression. By that, I don't mean to 10p etc (that can easily result from the lack of free shares as it was in contributing to the previous sharp decline) but an eventual move back to the circa 50p+ levels. That why the stock presents such a compelling 'investment' prospect at this price & as a genuine x10-20 multibagging prospect. However, that's certainly forward thinking from this point as the macro market wont recover overnight albeit strong indications for such is what the market will look for. dyor as always & gla
I keep trying to buy more but the limited stock availability results in only a small number of shares being offered at the prevailing price. Should do very well with the first bit of positive news indicating a longer term view towards full recovery of the sp to previous levels gla
Hi m8, I would avg down...sell the dog...last time this spiked it had 110% in a day just on buying pressure, when we start getting nearer rns day, and no news due....A week before d day will see the s.p rise again and then prob sit at around 6-7 which is a nice out if you can avg down to that level...I think most holders here are in the same boat and have been avg down on low s.p below 3, I know I have managed to avg down with a few 2.75 buys...GL
If I had more cash I would be averaging down. As it is, I have put this in the bottom drawer, I need 10+ to break even now. I think this will move slowly up over the next few months, but gravity always seems to drag it back. I'd like to believe that the Chinese economy will pick up in the next 18months, giving Gng a chance to move forward again.
This will creep back up to 7 then it's pot luck....14+ if news ok back down to 4 if not so good...Come GNG. It's been a long wait...
I hope you're right. Everyone keeps saying this is way undervalued, but it's only worth what people will pay for it. It's got a hell of a long way to go before it gets me anywhere near break even!
on what's going to happen in the next 6 weeks?
Good luck. I think this is a safe price to be getting in, but don't expect too much quickly
Same for me, no spare cash otherwise a top up would be tempting. on the other hand, my confidence was knocked last year after the loan mess, so perhaps it's better to sit on what you've got and wait and see
One wonders. I see nothing but buys today so far, unless the LSE software is mistaken, and I wouldn't be surprised they're buys at these prices! COMS kept slipping down to near 2p on no news and then began to steady before exploding over 4p still ahead of news even now...! Unless someone has had a very early whiff of GNG's results, then I suspect a similar SP pattern. GNG results have been expected to show improvement, and are only weeks away, people think. So SP movement is not unexpected at this time, I'd say. I'd be tempted to top up, but have nothing spare at the moment.
Is this mm shaking the tree before news?
I think George Osborne would bite your arm off for close to 8% growth! Thanks for the links
Results out late july & should state a move back into profitability & start of the recovery back towards those previous mkt cap levels, so hopefully 6p+ around then (?). Having said that somewhat lacklustre growth figures for the china economy out a few days ago but slightly longer timeframes look much more positive with the obvious positive implications for Geong. that's why im taking positions now to benefit from a short term rise to buffer entry level prices with a view to major multiple increases of the sp down the line. Some interesting links to china growth anyway http://www.marketwatch.com/story/hsbc-cuts-china-growth-view-for-2013-2014-2013-06-19 http://www.ft.com/cms/s/0/0a3f5794-92b3-11e2-9593-00144feabdc0.html#axzz2Wqc1MRjM http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424127887323393804578554984089091140.html atb
