20% uptake as we are now
(Sharecast News) - Greencore: HSBC upgrades to buy with a target price of 170p.
So are we going to see a bounce today back to £1.50 ish? or another drop.
Had a 5% profit before today. Hopefully will bounce back over the coming months.
I don't even bother with daily price action. This will do a Shoe Zone later this week IMO. Solid recovery stock. See you same time next year for 250p+.
Would sell half my punt at a 5% profit and take it from there. As you say, a few weeks may be a few Months to get back to a steady price range but 5% will do me short term.
I would probably think a bit longer term than that, but i guess that depends on what % you are looking for
Hope it dosn`t drift much lower as just bought in. Cant say the RNS results are a shock, bit like Greggs, but look at the S.P. of Greggs now. Hoping for a rise into close, but will hold for a few weeks.
Revenue to date is lower than expected requiring the top of the consensus sales to be cut by 5%, and top end of consensus EPS to be cut by 50%. I expect the share price to drift lower for a while.
Been watching these for a while now and following the rns have just bought in, in all honesty the rns is more or less as expected with the shut down but it does look like the sales have started to come back with big increases.
I expect this to settle at about £1.50- £1.60 within a week or so. I hope.
YES FUNNY ACTION OVER LAST FEW WEEKS. A BUY OUT AT THIS LEVEL IS A POSSIBILITY
Nothing to do with amateurs. Look at the price action here over the last few weeks. there is someone trading this daily and making a killing. They knew this was coming and are going to make hay on it again.
One of my favourite stocks.
Got out 166-170. Waited for an opportunity to buy back in.
149/150 nibbled a few.
May go to 130 but life is a gamble.

This time next year will check again
honestly the market is full of amateurs nowadays. This was not a bad RNS, and with the massive upside of this stock, results like this were basically priced in. Good chance to top up i guess
It is as expected, what you are seeing is a lot of novices who wants to make a quick buck but have no idea how to invest. Selling now when economies are opening is crazy!
Not sure what people expected to be honest. Looks like our trader friends are going to have a field day here.
Barclays upgraded GNC from 150p to 200p, sp has yet to catch-up!! 25 May 2021 is interim results potentially so hoping for a re-rate soon.
Seems finally coming back in to favour, nice upgrade
Morrisons supermarkets update today specifically called out improvement in food to go sales, great news for Greencore!!
At the next trading update, I expect GNC to get back to 250p similar move to Bakkavor. Food businesses are here to stay and now we have a stronger balance sheet!
Lets see if if finishes above 1.60
Does seem to be traded every week. The volume of trades is very low. Seems to me that someone has found a mini FED money printing machine here. Impressed by the SP recovery. Looks like it might break out of this range on the slightest hint of good news.
This rise seems to happen weekly, then a drop back to sub £1.60. To me it is as if someone is buying but trying to keep weekly average low by selling off % later in week. IMHO
