Bally's (who recently bought Gamesys - who we have the contract and loan agreement with) is now itself in a takeover bid by its biggest shareholder after a recent fall in its SP.
Offering 30% premium so recent fall in gambling stocks seen as chance to pick up a bargain even after adding a third again to the SP.

Stiff requirements for listing on Nasdaq so we're a long way off as things stand. Multiple criteria have to be met plus there are three different levels that require (for starters) a minimum SP of $2-4 and I don't think there'd be many of us still here if we reached that kind of multiples of current SP.
I suppose if a Nasdaq company bought GMR they could pay us in shares in the merged company but we're such a tiddler I imagine a cash buyout would be more likely.
Anyway, Truro, it's nice to dream on a February afternoon, but I'm not greedy, I'm happy to wait a COUPLE more years to be a millionaire :-))
Thanks Epucsurf - very interesting. I'm with you Alocasia although I think it's more like two eyes! I'm guessing that expanding in the US will be a similar pattern for most states and expanding in Europe is a series of one-offs. So the US expansion should be comparatively easier. I don't know what the Nasdaq criteria demands but with our inevitable income increases so visible any US investor worth their salt would be very interested. This will only be reinforced by the majority of our income coming from the US and Canada. If we do manage to get to a Nasdaq listing before being taken over we could all be millionaires Rodney - but it won't be this time next year!
Many thanks. About time we saw a bit more promotion of the company. I think the last interview Mark Segal did was October 2020. Sounds like they are keen to get more US investors onboard, maybe with one eye on a possible nasdaq listing in the future when market cap meets criteria. To that end, let's hope Canada can give us a massive boost when it comes online in April. Sounds like GMR are ready to jump in from day one.
Recent TV ads on Sky for32 Red and Ojo have both have included Slingo and the later was only Slingo.Tv ads are not cheap.
Hi Morbox - The wrong link was quite interesting actually as it had a free demo for Deal or no Deal Slingo. No explanation so I didn't really understand the options but I got a good flavour. It appears to have a lot of good choices. I could see why it could be popular.
Thanks
Sorry wrong link, full list

We continue to believe Gaming Realms could be on the radar as a potential target for a larger player looking to expand its games portfolio and improve margins. Corporate activity in the sector remains high, with three of the companies in our peer analysis now having been acquired in recent months – Activision Blizzard recently agreed a $68.7 billion all-cash takeover with Microsoft.
We retain our target price of 53.13p and stance of Conviction Buy.

3 massive buys again just before the close.
Hi TT, it’s the margins, When I get time I’ll do some digging, just to see if there’s any info, I doubt it as it’s probably commercially sensitive. I’m happy to hold, got in here in Dec 20 @ 21p. Funny no mention of Canada, again I need to look re: timeline.
Cheers

Unsurprising recommendation.
Tepid update. SP reacted accordingly. SP down 21% in year.
Stagnant board and management. Options unjustifiable. Very disappointing.

Hi Morbox, I meant to to reply to your post of the 13th before. Yes indeed this is just a tad better! I first bought here 2016 and bought in several times at an average of about 7-8p. However in the spring of 2021 I made a few sales at around 35p or so. Basically I got timing and luck on my side. The upshot is that I've taken out 11K more than I put in and still have some 27K invested.
I actually like the licensing model because the company running costs are largely fixed so increased revenue can only go to the bottom line. Revenue is a little light but it can only increase as more deals start to come through. Long term this has to be good. Cheers
Have been watching the share for a while and have dipped my toe in. Positive trading update. Looking forward to a rerate at some point soon.
A bit expensive imo and always has a premium built in. Now if it moved the listing to the USA it would treble overnight as GAN did. The UK does not value tech companies very highly.
This is a very frustrating share to be in, and so we still wait for a rise. GLA
We live in hope Taverham.
I have bought another £2k as i am expecting sp to rise once people work through the numbers for this year and project next year - we shall see.
