Because we have been waiting on significant news. Some recognise it, the market will come to recognise it. GLR Exec need to impress upon the market the next steps. Cooper Lemon can help with the messaging. The Open pit has near term significant value - whether they produce from it (Huge) or sell it on (Huge relative to the market cap). While the market digests the news and all that ... Macro is also looking good. So CB called the Macro correct, and we have copper assets at various cycles to take advantage of that macro outlook. When MC talked about JV or SOA on the Open pit element - he would have been waiting for this license approval for the negotiation IMO.
Ok, market moving news. We have been stuck in the current range for an eternity.
Flipper I don't know what company you're invested in but GLR have had loads of good news over the last 5 years even in January but we have not had the killer RNS.
Thanks for posting the update. Good news has been sadly lacking in recent times. Given the lack of copper supply around the world - not helped by droughts in Zambia - I personally hope we mine it ourselves under contract rather than sell. A good steady income will mean we can be included in a wider range of investment products/ETF's.
Charles is a paid promoter now working with roast pr and thereby cb so I’m agreeing with iky on that one . He was quite dismissive of afp etc a few months ago and now coming out with praise for the various companies- but people who have been invested here for real for a while do know this license is a big deal
If there is a buyer in the wings then a sale could progress quickly or we dig it up for $9500 a tonne
A very good read from Charles but over the past year his reputation has taken a hit on some public forum's for being " somewhat manipulative " with personal agenda's on his timing of writings...
I still speak to him via x and his pretty friendly, just be careful not to get sucked in by ANYONE'S opinions and views INCLUDING mine ( ill add that as i know i been questioned, understandably).
Let's hope the real details that will make a positive impact comes from glr in an rns, no poxy interviews erc... formal writing please colin.
Indeed.. https://www.livecharts.co.uk/MarketCharts/copper.php
And copper just breaking $9800 a tonne.a good day 🙂

This is very good news and timing could not be better. This is one of 2RNS'I have been waiting for and now this prospect can move on.
1.12 paid there
What’s this worth? Ain’t had my eye on this pit
Interesting, awaits RNS.
Ah can see the underground part of the mining licence must be 34542-HQ-SML which is deferred. Makes sense.
Colin does sometimes send out late RNS's as in late in he day. IT is also approved in 20th May, so maybe they are waiting for that.
Ask GLR. Spoon feeding is over. Laters.
If approved why no RNS?
Https://galileoresources.com/luansobe-copper-project/ - shows the full license area.
https://portals.landfolio.com/zambia/ shows the 34543-HQ-SML area covered - the open pit.
There is a further application in for the underground bit.
Superb! So all steam ahead. :)
Very happy today. Money will be coming our way every month very soon. AND £2.1 million at the end of April. Perfectly timed
HD, the exploration license is as you say.
The Open Pit Small Scale Mining Licenses application was split into two. The Open Pit is 34543. All good.
Yes. Galileo owns 75%, Statunga 25%. The underlying license was under the name Statunga.
Ah may not be the one we wanted. Our licence was covering the Luansobe Copper Project, Zambia comprising Small Scale Exploration Licence No. 28340-HQ-SEL. This licence approved for Statunga is 34543-HQ-SML
I was expecting to be listed as Galileo. Is this what we have been waiting for?

Well on track for September operation now.
