'the lack of trust the market has in CB.' - in your continualy anti CB opinion 3CB. Maybe Bezant has left a scar on you.
This is Galileo, we are now in a Copper bull market, and 2024 will be testament to having found great copper assets while the doubting Thomas's were self-flagellating :-) That's markets for you ;-)
That the sp should fall on the first trading day after unofficial confirmation of Luansobe is testament to the lack of trust the market has in CB.
So soon after Easter, I'm happy to be cast as Doubting Thomas. Even he saw the light when the proof was produced.
Charles - https://x.com/that_stocks_guy - is pushing for a meeting this week with Colin Bird should diaries align etc.
Good timing.
From the podcast I believe they said they were interviewing regarding African Pioneer.
but maybe there will be more information when the RNS comes out..... and maybe a dedicated interview for GLR

Interesting..... I didn't think the roast team would have Colin or Martyn on speed dial to ask a random question on a saturday. They must have been speaking about something else already. We await the news :-)
The license approval was mentioned on the Roast podcast today , they said that they’d spoken to Colin and that he’s waiting for the official approval letter before releasing an RNS
Galileo in the Sunday Roast. Just skipping through. Landed on 1h 8 mins they quote Colin and Martyn have said thered no RNS as of yet about Luanosbe License as they haven't received the paperwork yet

SFR would need to announce every time they cross an additional 1% holding up to 15%. That in itself would put a run on the SP. At that point they can appoint a director to the board of Galileo. I think there are several others who would be very interested in the Zambia Licenses e.g. FQM, ARCM, BHP plus the Chinese of course. Get a strong deal on Luansobe, and drill out the rest to add value. Sell off Kamativi, Bulawayo, Ferber.
I do think Sandfire will take us over but not yet. They will probably build up their stake up to 15% first. I also don't see the Kalahari assets being sold quite yet and Sandfire will be very interested. They also stragtegiccally will be wanting to build a position in Zambia next door to Botswana. I think CB will be offloading the Nevada, Bulawayo and Kamativi prospects first. I hope Luansobe will be sold off but CB likes Zambia and so it might be a core holding and we involve a contractor to go mining.
Ah well reminded about SFR/AFP CHRI5P, thankyou. Having the mining license to Luanosbe imo has solidified GLR amongst the top running Juniors in Zambia. A demonstration that they can take an asset through to production ready. The big boys spotlight will be on us. Its just how we carve ourselves up for sales. Everything that people have mentioned seems very plausible. (Sorry Sumo I wouldn't want £20m).
I'll take anything as long as it's lucrative, but my guess would be that it's kept simple for now. Luansobe will be sold with a royalty and the money will be put back into shinganda, and the Western Foreland. Botswana i have no idea, SFR own 5% of the profits from whatever is to come and CB will likely want his 7% exit strategy
One thing is for sure, I'm looking forward to seeing how it all unfolds
Based on what analysis Sumo? The offer would have to go the shareholders and there are plenty who would vote against a laughable offer like that. Nice try though.
Wow on a sunday morning 13 posts already... peeps are getting excited i see. Lets hope our man birdy can add to this excitement THIS WEEK, an update of some sorts be good but like someone previously said " an update with real meat on the bone".
18p a share... ill snap yoyr hands off. Half of that be nice. Let's not get too ahead of ourselves guys, we seen plenty times our thinking to what actually happens could be very underwhelming.
Have a nice sunday all & hopefully it can be a productive news week.
SFR could probably buy it for £20m. Plenty of people will sell out cheaply!

Old Drongo, Sandfire are a AUD 4bn company https://www.marketindex.com.au/asx/sfr lsted on ASX Sufficiently liquid etc.
Australia but I don't think that would make a difference to a deal if you get 18p a share
Which exchange are Sandfire on. Many people may not want their shares.
OD
My reasoning for Sandfire taking us over is that we are worth £12 million and they would get the Kalahari licenses they're definitely interested in and a Zambia land grab for the future. However, they would need to offer £200 million which could be paid for in Sandfire shares.
I still think a deal with ILH is the most likely outcome for Luansobe. They have the finances and size to expand in Zambia. Colin is also based in the UAE and JLP has already done a deal with ILH. Given the power shortages in Zambia it will require a company with deep pockets to sort the issues out and the UAE has already announced they are going to invest in Green energy projects such as solar. Hopefully we will get an update this week on Luansobe and then the Afrimat confirmation shortly after. Maybe some publicity from Charles would add interest.
A takeover over of GLR by Sandfire using their shares is getting more likely every single day. Just my opinion.
If Sandfire wanted to move in and invest in Zambia for copper and with a company they already have a stake in of 5% ...
If Sandfire wanted to move in and invest in Zambia for copper and with a company th
Data I think Sandfire have a 10/15% stake in AFP but they have ditched the AFP kalahari licenses. So I see Sandfire more as a silent partner in AFP. However, GLR are definitely there for Sandfire to complete big deals and investment.
