this will be down, without question. I am not worrying about it though. I can't afford to worry about it ! In a couple of months time we'll be asking what all the fuss was about
The same thing that’s been rattling this board for the last few weeks....
6p...
Oldtimer I hope so as I still hold all my GGP shares. ATB here (and I am watching elsewhere too for that 25p).
Newcrest down 8% - gold down $21 as I write. What's coming for GGP today?
If I was ceo of Rio, I would certainly not stand idly by and watch NC take all the low hanging fruit.
Infact, it would be remiss of him to allow NC to acquire such, given their size and presence in the region.
"So Rio JVs with antipa at Citadel. NC JVs with Antipa at Wilki....
GGP JVs with .... at SW?"
Interesting observation, so Antipa have JV with both Rio and now NC.
Wonder if Rio will balance the JV's by taking Swag, just to remind NC it's not all theirs. First refusal or not, Rio could make things really interesting.
If I was ceo of Rio, I would certainly not stand idly by and watch NC take all the low hanging fruit.
Rich seams of bonanza grade gold know no boundaries other than those imposed by Mother Nature.
willy..;)
I feel like washing my willing and giving it a good soak....
Doesn't affect the gold we have at HAV though, so maybe we should flirt with RIO just to make ourselves feel better..;).
The remainder of the Havieron license and the Black Hills license are now nicely sandwiched between NCM and RIO.
I guess we now know what that guy from Antipa - Roger Mason was on about last week when he spoke of"corporate tensions" in the region.
I'll bet RIO ain't too happy with their junior partner.
GLA Paddy
Lol,valley.i feel the same!
Still this is good news for us
And possible route for conveyor belt Hav to Telfer
Just dawned on me.
If Newcrest have got the tenements in the area on page 5 , per my previous post.
Could this mean they think there is positive Hav results right up to the boundary with the Antipa licence.
My guess is that NC see hav as the immediate source of raw material, so they happy antipa running with first two years, probably with some direction from NC. If antipa find something they have plenty of time to prove it up.
I would rather see ggp sole risk the first 5-10 holes and see what we find. Same with Goliath.
Schlemiel
See map page 5 think it may be that southern area they own which is between Hav and the Newcrest / Telfer

Good point Arnie , that guy Hat did suggest that
Surely NC are going to have to make a play for Scally in some way. Whether that be a new JV or make a direct offer.
Perhaps that’s why they are happy to let Antipa take the lead. Their total focus being on Hav and possibly Scally.
j813 - It's to the NW of Havieron isn't it?
Anyone know where this Southern portion of their licence is situated in relation to Hav or Scally ?
Two things caught my eye. Antipa are in control of the exploration - Not NC. And they are giving them 8 years to spend the $60million. Just shows how different and accelerated the approach at HAV is......
Newcrest have left Antipa to do the drilling for the first 2 years. But notice Newcrest haven't taken a passenger seat at havieron, in fact they're at the wheel with their foot rammed down hard on the accelerator.
very interesting this.
So Rio JVs with antipa at Citadel. NC JVs with Antipa at Wilki....
GGP JVs with .... at SW?
Must say, our deal with NC is much better from the initial reading.
MS
Antipa shares closed at 1.1 yesterday and Newcrest buying in at 1.7 - nice
just released

this is a good sign for any explorer in the region. majors buying access to exploration assets in the Paterson. I suspect this trend will continue throughout the year
