@Zoros LOL
But then again too few to mention.
Mush..
I'm in the TW board too, but I'm not a poster, and only signed up recently to thank Hydro, Paddy and others for their research on this. It was talk on that board via Bamps, that put me onto GGP, same as you. I bought in at 9p, then topped up a little along the way. Hold just over 100k, and have a 80% profit so far. In for the long term, and not taken any slices so far.
Think the research and the core posters on here are a credit. Soon as this banged the whole board filled with the usual moronic posters, who claim the ridiculous. Yet I know who the LTH posters are, and I thank them from the bottom of my heart.
A glass of wine has been raised to you all. Cheers StoneRoses.
I never bought enough :-)

Q
Two words : UKOG hype :(((((
aprogerson - you should write a book....oh, you just did. XX
Errors I've made a few;
1) was convinced that gold stocks would rocket with global fiat currency debasement so moved my entire SIPP into gold miners in Apr 2013 ... just before gold dropped and the miners were routed.
2) moved what was left into Lithium stocks REM and later BCN & PREM ... all got caned.
3) was convinced UKOG was a great idea and invested accordingly ... that went well.
4) eventually decided my stock picking was rubbish and I was a sucker for a good story so took all the PI recommendations I'd picked up from the various BBs I used and picked 2 at random and split what I had left between the 2.
Half went to ARCM and half to GGP where I bought in at 2.08 and said to myself I would top-slice 40% when it hit my target. Happily it 10-bagged so I took my top-slice yesterday with the rest being a free ride.
So Lessons learnt:
1) Don't believe everything good story a BOD tells you ... drills don't lie, but you do need a product that is economic
2) Timing may suck, but dumb luck & stubbornness can pay off
2) Taking a profit is never wrong and shame on anyone that tells you otherwise
3) treat everyone honestly, the honest ones will soon make themselves known
4) Don't take carp from anyone on a BB after all who are they to judge and what right do they have anyway?
ATB just glad I'm still invested here and 100% derisked!
Ah, yes, ??

We're definitely not the same Zoros, there are traits that can be assigned etc etc. I am just saying - there is not a 'superior' group. It is the differences when united that make us stronger. Yin and Yang :-)
Dip66 - I beg to differ, when one's sister is a psychoanalyst, one learns to appreciate the nuances associated with different human groups. We are far from all being one and the same........
Mushroom, I would like to add to this 'confessional that I have made what some might call errors. I have been in and out this share for 2 to 3 years and if I hadn't sold / rebought/ top sliced etc. etc.and just held I could have been about £600k better off; but I have still made about £800k and ver, very happy. So errors yes but no def. regrets.
Elise , congrats on paying off your mortgage :-) I was lucky enough to also but a house in my 20's and get into a position a just over a decade ago while still in early 30's to pay it off. Not having debt is truly liberating and lead to many more choices and freedom - well done!
Zoros - no offence - but inability to deal with the truth and deal well with adversity is a human condition in the main and not dependent on gender, age, race or whatever, we're all idiots most of the time!
We shouldn't be fighting amongst ourselves - this week some sliced or sold out and met some of their goals and all of us whether newly or still invested are in for even more exciting times.
Peace ;-))
With you on the concept of subtle deramping earthling, a pattern I have noticed on several boards. They are getting better at it as it used to be more obvious. My gut feel was that a few PIs just got together on a whatsapp group to work together and support it by creating a concensus on a board. Now my feeling is insiders use this to push an agenda prior to significant announcements to create an acceptable price on the share. Too clever to pin down but you can smell the change in mood on a board.
biggest mistake was naivety when i first invested in AIM shares; started a SIPP and thought it was easy money and triust eerything inred in LSE.... Only ever invested £12k; £6 lost to CTAG delisting, which hurt but taught me a good lesson.. but through there I saw someone mentioning GGP; which is now have 470,000 shares, spread across my SIPP and ISA.
Tried some Covid pharma stocks, but getting in after the hype so the big wins are potentially gone, who knows (HEMO, NYCT, SNG) ; but GGP is about 90% of my portfolio....
Have you got Google. He lives in Marmaris. The rest are with him but in disguise! I think they are all dead. Research for the weekend. Paddy has the rest covered thanks Paddy
exactly mate
Exactly earthling, taking your profit is fine, congratulations, but dont come back and **** on everyone else's with another 5 posts. Its so transparent. Not fooling anyone.
Thanks for all the kind feedback everyone, got another one or two lined up for sunday. Rally the troops (Or wolves) and all that!
Have a great weekend all, 30p beckons
..and what I said is true, the amount of subtle de ramping thats gone on the last 2 days is staggering, especially from some of those who suddenly start being negative after they have sold.
FACT
I was in SOU. Let’s just say it was an error.
The thread title was ‘Errors’ - Turbo47.
Elise - it's human nature, particularly of men - to hide their fears, In fact their psycholgy looms large on / in places like this:
When the going gets tough - they go quiet.
When they make profits - they go into a frenzy .
When a woman asks a question or needs help, they spend the next 100+ posts responding to the 'damsel in distress'. Wouldn't have happened if the she was a he!
These forums,.....reflections of their psyche. Men eh - can't live with 'em, can't live without them.

Elise you deserve the respect that people have given you. Still celebrating with Yul Brinner? He was on his own tonight!!
I have not needed to sell even my mistakes. I am lucky enough to have made enough to gamble. I even have a one eyed cat called Jack. She is funny. One eyed Jack
Thank you for all of your comments, I should have known better than to take directors at their word. You are spot on Deecay. Sounds a familiar story Golden1 and I feel your pain as well as my own, but I'm sure that there must be thousands in our predicament. But onwards and upwards and don't let it get you down.
Elise,
You are getting mixed up, what investors have a problem with is when someone sells up , then suddenly turns negative in an attempt to get back in cheaper, ring any bells?
Valirx Hawkspear, not Valirax. I got out early fortunately. False dawns and very poor management. Many got stung. Glad to hear you are picking up here. GL.
