OWL- The clever money invests on fundamentals, not momen... hype*.
Give up trying to reinforce that negative non-sense. can see your game a mile off.
Thanks BAMPS, I think it was on your advice on the TW board that I first bought GGP at 5p and 10p so many thanks for that.
You may well be right about the future for GGP but all my investing is based on recent positive momentum and unfortunately GGP fails on that score at the moment.
I’m not sure if I’m classed as a LTH yet, been invested 3.5yrs now.
Haven’t sold a single share in that time. Still a fair few of us left who have kept the faith..............oh and made very good use of the filter button.
As always, GLA.
I am a lth but as buying a house sold some 700000 shares over the last month but as cost about 2 pence still a good profit. Probably did not help the SP
Still a lth with 1000000 shares and expect this balance to increase as news comes in.
We all have different reasons for trading I should have sold at 38 p but in time balance will get there.
Chris
THanks Spades
Hi Jambo, shares that are held within ISA's are the ones shown within nominee accounts like HL, ii, etc.
Sipp holdings are listed individually. So yes you can see who holds what within their Sipp account's.
If you manage to get a look at the Bloomberg terminal, you will see individual's names listed along with Directors holdings.
Spades, I did not actually use the word “most” in the context of LTHs.
Pretty sure a few may have offloaded a few and was just saying that was only part of the explanation for the sales over the last month or so.
As regards the Bloomberg terminal, does that really show the individual names and holding of us private investors.
We or the large majority hold shares via Nominee Company names which are reconciled daily with the Share Registrar company, who themselves do not know who the actual shareholders are who make up the Nominee balance.
So how does Bloomberg get hold of these details ?
Only explanation I can think of is some get the Nominee name mistaken for a LTH. Same as some supposed reputable on line Share news stories have commented on GGP being 85% owned by Institutions as have mistaken the likes of HSBC Nominees being shares owned by them when they are not.
@jambo "we are in AIM so are traders at heart"
Not me, but then I was late to this share when it was hugely derisked for an AIM investment. Usually I avoid AIM.
@rebster, it gets tempting sometimes, doesn't it? But it's like pouring petrol on a fire to respond....

Your right and I shouldn’t have bit
I enjoy this forum and value all the research shared here by most contributors. Just annoys me when certain posters post like they do fishing for a reaction.
I don’t wish this forum to degenerate into namecalling but I find it hard to allow antagonistic posts to go unanswered,
We seem to have reverted back to what we had a few weeks ago the 5 million more share bought than sold daily. So why do people assume there is a large seller when the volume says otherwise and points decidedly to a large continuous buyer as reported daily
Jambo, what makes you think that most LTH's have reduced their holding's ?
If you keep a check on the Bloomberg Terminal you will see that most LTH's if anything have increased their holding, fact.
The people who have been selling are the ones who bought into GGP from September 2020 onwards who now find themselves currently under water. Most LTH's i have spoken to have actually added to their pot as they see it as a great discount.
I think the SP at the moment is due to what most have said above including LTH s & GH reducing their holdings and good luck to them. The general sentiment has generally been neutral at best over the last few months and that IMO is due to 2 camps.
The first being recent buyers who bought in the high 20s and 30s on expectation of big and we quick profits in much
ranges.
The second camp is LTH s who if honest ( we are in AIM so are traders at heart) will have rued the chance to trade out in the high 30s and missed the chance to get back in and almost double whatever was sold, or just bank a nice profit.
Whatever though, we are an exploration company with a Tier one in the bag and more excitement just round the corner.
Luvly Jubbly as Del Boy would say.
Can we please not go this route again, calling other people sheep, dick, etc.?
The case for or against investing in GGP is nothing to do with the character of other people who comment on here so if you write things about other people you are off-topic -- and adding nothing to what has, in the past, made this board really good and useful.
And if you believe that!!!
Mh01 ive not posted on here since friday lol if you read my post u would know i hold a few
Hi Owls
The share price is in the same situation as it was 15-16 months ago when we were discussing it.
The next 3-4 months could make it spring up again especially if Goliath hits
or NCM find another ore body at Havieron
or a did at Scallywag
or a new MRE
or early PFS issued
I'm waiting for more than another 129% rise this time and once it starts well knows
ATB:))
Is this what you do Fred for fun, write doomsday posts on LSE? Unless you’re invested in GGP why are you even here? No sane adult would spend their time trolling share boards of shares they don’t invest in. Says a lot about you as a person if this is what you’re doing.
Think it was on the last Newcrest presentation
Bye bye then
Sold my last GGP shares for a nice profit of 129%, it was nice whilst it lasted but the positive momentum has long since gone. Back to serious investing now rather than the gamble of AIM.
Anybody got a link for the picture of the decline entrance to Hav?
Thanks in advance.
Ftse over 7000 now goldies all lagging will be playing catch up soon
Bablake goldies are going to come good very soon even this one
Freddie
Down 28.01% - just over £1760
With other previous investments I would be panicked... Very much not so with Greatland... I now know what comes to the patient!
