" If an opportunity to consolidate ownership of Havieron were to arise we would be highly focused on delivering an accretive outcome for our existing shareholders with a view to delivering a world-class Australian gold copper asset."
Fantastic update. Simples !!
A strong message

" Greatland Managing Director, Shaun Day, commented:
"Significant progress has been made during the quarter, particularly in terms of improving our understanding and confidence in managing the lower confined aquifer. Measured flow rates are at the low end of the range previously anticipated and water management infrastructure requirements have been confirmed. This significantly de-risks development through the aquifer. A better location has also been identified for the underground decline to develop through the remaining Permian layer where it is shallower, reducing the remaining development metres required through the Permian.
Overall, we are confident there is currently significant option value in Greatland with Newmont's 70% interest in Havieron considered non-core and our existing last right of refusal on any sale. If an opportunity to consolidate ownership of Havieron were to arise we would be highly focused on delivering an accretive outcome for our existing shareholders with a view to delivering a world-class Australian gold copper asset."

@SMTP, Re:' Everyonesawinner, short answer is no, institutional selling isn’t shown the same as private retail buys and sells.'
Don't know how you come to that conclusion., all trades are recorded on the London Stock Exchange in general, be they delayed or held back for reporting by a day or two at most, and any such trades are usually of a larger volume/number in my experience,
With today's closing higher, British Bulls gives a BULLISH HARAMI Pattern
Not sure what you are saying how can 13m be bought if not sold by someone? either shares or CfD's
Shirley there can't be an imbalance of 10m
Good news = sp down! 😅 Let’s hope we break the trend.
Where do we think we’ll be tomorrow in so terms … we will be able to clear the seller early and capitlies on the good news
Yes I think your right the increased speed to which they will get to the ore, and the increased price of both gold and copper make it a very intresting project.
In an interview with Proactive's Stephen Gunnion, Day highlighted the effective water management strategies for the lower-contained aquifer, which revealed lower flow rates than expected, easing management efforts. This has been made possible by additional drilling, enhancing the company’s understanding of water flows and geological formations, which could shorten the path to the ore body.
Thanks for reposting Shaun’s interview today SAB - it really is good news and a must listen for all Greatlanders imho - no doubt in my mind that we have the right CEO/BoD in place to maximise our opportunities. VGLA!!
Well I am glad I asked Bamps of his opinion/view earlier today for what it's worth. Just watched the interview, very positive few minutes of information we all had been crying out for - well done SD. Would loved to have asked him potential timelines on the water management and resumption of drilling. Can't ask for everything I guess. With regards to Newmont next steps, it was hard to tell from SD's words where we are most likely heading. However perfect reply, acknowledge Newmont with respect that he would be disappointed if they exit, but at the same time if they do, it presents a great opportunity for GGP. Onwards Greatlanders!
You’re right Ace - you called it ages ago.
Thanks 👍👍
Ouche!!
Freddie one week ago: " my fear is that the lower aquifer becomes a real issue and it becomes non feasible to drain it or go round it" - he also wonders where "Bamps team" is.
Freddie yesterday: "We want facts not opinions"
Today good news turns up that should allay Freddie's fears of last week.
Freddie: I'll ignore the good news and find the most obtuse, witless angle on Bamps post which enters conspiratorial territory designed to disguise the fact that the fella actually brought me the news I wanted to hear (when in fact the news was in a bublicly available interview with SD all along). Because I know how far-fetched and ridiculous this all sounds I'll send in my alter-ego Doubting Tom to portray anyone who subsequently attempts to bring rational thought into the process, that we are in fact a coven of witches beholden to the lord of darkness.
What did I tell ya; water not a problem & when did I tell ya; a long time ago 😁 part of the trial and tribulations of underground mining.
For those that have worked underground (as yours truly) will know that.
RNS tomorrow - BOOM
Needed to hear that, the silence was killing me. Better flow rates than expected with a shorter path down.
If that interview doesn’t give you confidence, nothing will.
Thanks for proving my point HannahJack
SEE WHO JUMPS TO DEFEND THEM
So good, I’ll post it again.

Now that is an excellent update.
I don’t know what Freddie’s problem is with Bamps, but I would trust Bamps over Freddie any day.
Let’s hope we have turned the corner.
