Potential listing registered on 29th July
H1 seems to have been a challenge for the company due a variety of factors be interesting true market value if listed
Been watching this one for months. Total cash plus receivables minus debt = $162.8m or £134m = 11.4p a share. Cap is £166 14p. This is very cheap BUT the industry is struggling to sell some stones and diamond prices have been pulling back. Very tempted here but poor liquidity troubles me.
Total cash and receivables equal total capitalisation at todays price !give or take a few $$$
A dividend decl in September would be welcome ….
No Update on disposal - was expecting some news by now

GBP divi for uk holders
AIM shareholders – USD/GBP 0.7630, equating to a dividend of approximately GBP pence 1.29785 per share
Nice to see 20p barrier broken even after ex divi
Announced on Wednesday, one article implied gemfields has a holding

No idea re price drop last month, created nice buying opp, surprised not broken 20p following recent auction, divi due etc.,
Does anyone have any thoughts on the drop today. Is another order being filled.
No sign of a takeover yet. Hopefully soon.
Agree eric.
Net $100m in bank after debt pay down plus sale proceeds
Potentially $50m from sale of minority stake
Circa 25 years of sustainable mining generating $30m net cash per annum
Valuation only $260m - ignoring potential bid - should the above assumptions not give a valuation of circa $550m plus ?
Struggling with the fundamentals here , appreciating mining carries many risks - appreciate guidance on why gemfields not at a higher market valuation.
Sounds like the auction was incredibly successful, are we expecting a bit more movement in sp
Ericeric, thanks for updates and advise, looking forward to auction results and fingers crossed 20p. Topping up tomorrow.
Hi Ericeric , was hoping for some wisdom if you would be kind enough to share.
Bought into this in April for 15.4, clearly didn't know what I was doing . Currently eagerly awaiting auctions , what is the normal protocol with this share, does the price sharply rise then suddenly drop after auctions , as no gems left to sell? Thanks in advance
The names of these three significant emeralds pay homage to the wildlife that is such an integral part of the landscape of Africa, and as precious as the coloured gemstones beneath the soil. Ten per cent of the sales price of Inkalamu was donated to aid conservation efforts benefitting its namesake, shared between large carnivore conservation projects in the Niassa reserve in Mozambique and carnivore tracking projects in Zambia. Chipembele will maintain this tradition, and a share of the proceeds of the sale will support the North Luangwa Conservation Programme in Zambia, to aid critical black rhinoceros conservation efforts.
“A key Gemfields tenet is that Africa’s gemstone wealth must contribute meaningfully not only to host-country economies, but also to conservation efforts, host communities and the next generation by way of education, healthcare and livelihoods projects. We are delighted that the legacy of Chipembele will support rhinoceros conservation efforts, bringing a positive impact to conservation communities in Zambia.” Jackson Mtonga, Kagem Sort House Assistant Manager.

Hi struggling to find the dates of the auctions, can anyone help. Thanks
I think theres been some order filling.
There’s been many sells and eventually, something has to give - understandably the sp. Let’s hope there’s some good news soon about auctions, otherwise I can also see this temporarily dropping.
