Plenty of chunky buys coming in today.
Investinggenius may finally get a prediction right 😂👏
---Thanks Terry--- Got over excited-----thought i'd had the last of that problem 60 years ago-lol
I bet we see 7p smashed and the lows in for good by end of week
So much anticpation around this stock
So if it's done, then we could expect to see upward movement soon, hopefully the SP will be north of 7p by the start of next week and slowly begin to gather momentum.
What's happening now needs to happen, i.e, placing share churn, the plus side is that the placing is done and when shares are done churning, expect a fairly brisk correction.
Lol mankini. I’ll join you with an orchard.
That 1.1m trade was from 18th April and appears to be a cancelled trade.
There you go 1.1 mill at 7.20
...its done.
... If you have been part of any large, late reported trades today, then please feel free to correct me.
.. This is what I think we have seen today.88
.. I think, (and it's just my opinion) that the " rump" of these subscription shares, has been spread around the other mmks.
... My guess is that they each all taken 250/_ ish, and now the one main holder is out.
.. A few mms with 250 each is not the bottle stopper we have had, and will clear, or be run, much easier now.
.
. So my bottom line is
.. It's done.
When the share price hits £3 i’ll plant some trees to reduce the environmental impact. 👍
We don't really need anymore links/news on OPM being on as that has always been the case in the last few months. I am more interested in how long approval takes and what will be the administrative arrangement for it as the SP indicates uncertainty on this point imo. I think a Dhaka quote will be required for starters if GCM is involved as the Chinese have a 25% stake there but there could possibly be a new company set up with Bengalis in charge and GCM compulsory purchased. The bigging up of the coal mining issue goes against us IMO as it becomes more high profile.
A waiting game whatever as the bigwigs have their summit in Beijing and the Energy Ministry formulate their plans.
It’s actually greener to mine local coal (to where it is being used). BD aren’t going to power down their coal power stations.
They are talking about having a mix of conventional power sources and newer ones.
Im sure they’ll moan but who cares. Greta might also sh*t the bed but let’s be honest, it’s very hypocritical for countries who have previously benefited from their own industrial revolutions not to permit ‘developing’ ones their chance
G7 decisions relate to G7 countries, Bangladesh is a developing country not part of G7, COP meeting made it clear regarding clean coal and developing nations
Change your name to Grumbles
G7 has what to do with this? Its Chinese money :-) China not in G7
Count me in. Both GCM and Polo since around 2007/8. I actually cant remember and in recent years, kind of wrote off both these holdings as unlikely to ever bear fruit lol. I had a couple of Polo divis before their eventual delisting. I am just concerned that the recent G7 decision comes at a bad time with in-country momentum definitely seeming to favour the new energy park including clean coal from their own resources. I wonder if this means they won't go ahead??
Yep. People getting loaded up
And that's another 250K delayed trade at 7p
volume now at 2.84 Million....
Should say if you want to Buy/sell more then the NMS the price quoted may be outside of the presently quoted spread.!
3 x 250k trades, 750 more placing shares churned got to be under 5 million left now
…… how is this even possible lol.
The positive messages are just getting louder and louder!!!!
Excellent pappi.
''Meanwhile, the Hydrocarbon Unit, Energy and Mineral Resources Division has proposed formulating a smart master plan for the energy sector focusing on local primary energy.
Prominent energy expert Prof Shamsul Alam told The Daily Messenger, “The current master plan is very whimsical. It emphasises imported pricey fuel ignoring local energy. Of course, it will be better if we can sketch another master plan based on domestic fuel.''
‘’In this situation, the additional cost of energy import is putting pressure on the country's economy. The new plan will make ways to protect the country by increasing domestic energy production.
The government took the mega projects to meet the power demand in 100 economic zones. Gradually, the economic zones are getting ready for industrialisation, but a major portion of the power generation capacity cannot generate power due to fuel scarcity. ‘’
Director General of Power Cell Mohammad Hossain told The Daily Messenger, “We will gradually come out of imported fossil fuel, but it is not possible to do that right now. We have almost phased out the furnace oil-based plan. Gradually, we will adopt clean coal.”
(Clean coal equals own high quality coal using supercritical carbon capture technology)

Yes. According to Stockopedia the NMS is recalculated every quarter and is the rolling average from the present quarter and the previous 3 quarters. The article also shows a worked example explaining the parcel size that they will buy/sell within the published spread and how if you want to buy/sell outside the published spread the prices quoted may be outside of said published spread.
