Wouldn’t be surprised if TotalEnergies are one of the rumoured interested parties. They’ve got a huge exposure in Russia which they won’t be comfortable with. Would make sense to diversify
Ha ha no spike i wondered for future drills there can only be a max 4 week rota before a crew change and i doubt theres a heliport supply ships are prob used for crews be easier to monitor shop
Movement in future that was all
I cant seem to track anyone down whos working there bit will find some contact especially if we begin a drill ourselves
I dont need the warm weather i live in spain
Makes going to aberdeen for work even worse haha
Yer i spotted them delayed trades they buy or sells
Look at these late trades from yesterday
No idea mate….. are you trying to escape The North Sea and go to work somewhere warmer ? ;)
Old tony on Twitter haha, yeah laughable really that bloke. I’m confident gbp will come good once interest in our block is made public, to be a fly on the wall in the data room
Spike u seem to know a fair bit about namibia
Is there a heliport set up there for crew changes?
Russia should only be making this project even more attractive its far from trouble oils climbing and investors are pulling out of anything relating to the probs in the eastern block
If these sea areas were in the med i could understand caution bit this is placed logistically wise perfect .. its a perfect storm for success
Im not negative i just cant believe the hype the last few weeks then we hit all the positives and nothing happened.. it dont help some geezer called tony bohove oor something beem driving me nuts on twitter guys like a parrot every two Mins .. here comes 1p here comes 2p boomm! .. think i got sucked in lol . .
… and NAMCOR have 17%, whereas it’s just 10% at Graff & Venus. Plenty of incentive for Namibia to push for this to happen.
Of course if that option is taken things will move very quickly indeed and the price will rocket
The potential here is crazy a small cap like gbp with a field of this size and potential is this climate makes the upside ridiculous .. ive just never known such a flat share price for the possibilitys here .. its not like news is not out about the potential.. why in gods name have people been selling!
If a farm partner wants a immediate drill we have hit the absolute jackpot
Im sure news either way is due soon
A rns would be welcome to pick things up thats for sure
Delito, no offence but have you been asleep the past few days? Markets are on a knife edge atm, in a stable normal environment we would be trading at a higher level imho. We need to wait for some confidence to return. Although having said that ftse futures are doing well which I can’t fathom. Let’s hope for everyone’s sake the dust settles ….
The Opportunity
Global Petroleum invites bids from suitably qualified E&P companies to participate in the exploration campaign on PEL94.
Global will prioritise bids which include:
• A contribution to past costs on the licence
• A 100% contribution to the cost of acquiring and processing 2,000 km2 of 3D seismic
• Alternatively a 100% contribution to a Marula well as the company regards the Marula prospect drill-ready, plus further 3D on the block.
Global is prepared to offer a proportion of Working Interest in return for this investment. Operatorship for the incoming party will also be considered.
Delito… there are various deals on offer for the farm out partner. One of them is to fund an immediate drill at Globals Marula prospect which is ‘drill ready’. If a farm in partner goes for that option things could get very exciting indeed.
Agreed i think the time this rockets is licence extension rns jv announcement only
We have had shell hit we had total hit the almighty monster and what ? No sustainable rise as such . So whats it gonna take? Im not being negative at all this is what has happened. Most people were saying wait till the total result .. boom! Oh theres supply ships there bla bla
All the news has been the best we could of hoped for and better and still a stale share price
Looks like them dates of expression of interest and bid by dates will be the only true re rate
Anyway good luck everyone it could be lifechanging if everything falls into place
It could not of gone any better what so ever so far
Apart from the one thing that counts.. the share price lol
licence and funds will not be short with gbp. just have a look at the main holders to see who can finance that.
https://www.globalpetroleum.com.au/investors/major-shareholders
why sp do not maintain high level?? The answer lies in the list of main holders:
https://www.globalpetroleum.com.au/investors/major-shareholders
most of them are Brookers, financial institutions: 'MMs' is short. It is in their blood to skim any profit they could get. The only raise that could be sustained is the jv agreement and drill results. After that it will be a race to much future income.
Of course if we get an extension we are pretty much a sure bet then
Cant disagree with this as much as we dont want to
Are the any talks ongoing about extending the licence? Do gbp have first refusal? Theres alot of majors with alot of money that would love to pick it up
A lot of ifs
First thing is to agree an extension. They didn’t manage to do that with their last permit so not sure how they achieve it now with no funds. For sure nobody will be interested in a farm in until they have an extension.
Phoebus........go into PVE consulting and you will see GBP slides on farm in..........deadline dates are in there.
Three rises… one with licence renewal (which would be an indicator of positive things to come), next one after GBP announce they are in discussions with interested parties, third one when farm out partner confirmed. Will the rises be sustained ? ….. anyone’s guess !
Spike66 what happens after farm in and where do you see the SP after the the farm in news? Obviously this is your opinion and you are not held accountable if it’s not as it is.
Sirpman… unfortunately not, would love to say otherwise. Just got the rumours on the Namib front.
Jazbo, where did you see those deadlines?
Are the expressions of interest made public?
