per yesterday afternoon's late column, with a 200p target - here's his reasoning for buying (he also bought SDI, which I hold as well as GAN):
https://www.nakedtrader.co.uk/
"And another discussed at the seminar was GAN which develops and supplies gambling software and online gaming content in the states.
Demand for this software is growing over there as gambling begins to get more backing from various states.
A recent announcement says trading is ahead of expectations with demand from New Jersey and Pennsylvania where fans want to bet on US football. While it made a loss last year it should be going into a decent profit next time. The markets always look ahead.
Looks a nice tuckaway and another not affected if Labour wins. It has been spurting up the last couple of days and so far shows little sign of stopping. Target 200?"
I'll get on that "train of thought"....Choo...Chooo..!
This is going to 430p. That is based on the fact that my average is 43p and I expect a 10 bagger as more and more states sign up. There you go. You can research as much as you like but this is mostly just luck. Right place right time with betting allowed ....maybe to tax it of course.
https://www.colorado.gov/pacific/sites/default/files/Sep%202019.pdf So the State Government netted $9,037,136.61 in gaming taxes, so with online gaming to be added, a tidy sum I imagine. Also they are just introducing Digital Personnal ID https://www.colorado.gov/pacific/enforcement/laws-and-regulations-gaming-0 which if used for online gaming, would solve underage gambling. So just need news of successful Colorado Licence approval. Timing ..?
How many more states follow the trend. Even another 10 states using the package should see us fly. GO USA
.....Cha-Ching...! or it's online equivalent ...???....!
Great news......
Extracts:
"Colorado became the 19th state to allow sports betting after voters narrowly approved Proposition DD thanks to strong support from people in and around Denver."
"Starting in May, people 21 and older will be able to legally wager on everything from professional sports and esports to collegiate games and the Olympics. The 33 casinos in Colorado will manage the betting either at their locations in Cripple Creek, Central City and Black Hawk, or online and through mobile devices."
"The states that already allow sports betting are: New Jersey, West Virginia, Indiana, Pennsylvania, New York, Mississippi, Arkansas, Delaware, Illinois, Iowa, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Oregon, Rhode Island and Tennessee. Washington, D.C., has also legalized sports betting.
Legislatures in other states, including North Dakota, Arizona, Texas and Washington, have considered whether to allow gambling on sports but ultimately rejected it."
Your ratiocination is well presented and does indeed support GAN's current trajectory.
After throwing the bones and sprinkling them with tea leaves, I too concur your assessment. ..Our investment is secure...!
So how do the fundamentals look, at this lovely share price? At 144p the EV is about £115m, having knocked a bit off for cash held. If their own "Clean EBITDA" this year is £5m (which doesn't seem unreasonable - £3.0m in H1) then EV/EBITDA is 23. Seems a bit racy, but if EBITDA next year is £10m, then the ratio becomes just 11.5. And again that EBITDA doesn't seem unreasonable if you consider a full year for PA and Indiana, plus the casinos recently gone live, plus new states that go online with FanDuel, possibly more patent fees etc. etc. And a US listing may well see higher multiples than 11.5. These figures are all speculative but I can comfortably rationalise the current share price on a forward basis. Any other thoughts?
Heading for £500m market cap by the time we list on the NASDAQ/NYSE next year.
And with new opportunities opening up all the while in the US, California being a possible :
https://www.legalsportsreport.com/35910/california-sports-betting-hearing-2019/
And their EBITDA number for H1 was £3.0m, so cash profits being made. In H2, with revenue approaching that of H1, per the RNS, then another £2m+ seems quite possible.
pseudonym, so your latest figures suggest they have moved into profit. The last ROCE figure for 2018 was (160%). Hope to see improvement in both by year end, although I think we can be fairly confident...

BoardsOfUK
Six months ended 30 June 2019.
• Profit after tax of £0.7m (H1 2018: loss after tax of £3.0m)
• Basic earnings per share of £0.01 (H1 2018: loss per share £0.04)
• Cash and cash equivalents at 30 June 2019 of £9.1m (£5.5m at 31 December 2018)
With the revenue increasing then profit will follow. Either that or its not a good business plan :-)
Great news for revenue, but still need to see how efficient GAN are in converting to profit, as currently they have not made a profit. Last year (2018) 10Mil Revenue vs (-6.03) Mil profit.
Await with interest.
Encouraging to see a 15k buy at 33.75p this morning - paying well above the 33p published offer price. Followed by a nice move up.
Online you can only buy a tiny maximum 1k shares at 33p, so not much stock available as I write.
That what the phrase "lovely jubbly" was invented for :o))

The tone of the outlook and commentary is as confident as you could hope for....
"2019 Outlook
The outlook for 2019 continues to remain highly positive for GAN. The Company now expects to see year-over-year revenue growth in excess of 100% for full year 2019 (2018: GBP10.6m).
Management Commentary
Dermot Smurfit, CEO of GAN, commented, "We are pleased that the ramp-up in real money Internet gambling is accelerating ahead off our budgeted expectations in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, particularly since the start of the American football season in early September. Our clients are among the leading operators of U.S. Internet gambling, leveraging GAN's proven technology Platform optimized in New Jersey over several years to convert our clients' marketing dollars into more first time online gamblers. Our clients' competitors remain locked in the multi-year optimization journey that has already been completed by GAN, granting our clients a significant and sustainable competitive advantage. Given the rapid increase in the total addressable market for U.S. Internet gambling operators and their infrastructure providers such as GAN, we expect to see continued and rapid growth."
Some nice big buys showing up lately, news won’t be far off.
Good time to be loading up .
Rivaldo , hope you had a relaxing time. No surfing while lying in the sun next to the pool. This seems to moving in a pleasantly upward trend. Long may it continue.
Been on hols for just over a week, so delighted to see the progress here. With such excellent news flow there's no reason why it shouldn't continue.
I remember when I was one of only around 3 posters on this thread, so it's great to see such interest here now.
This is another share I have moved from the 'purely speculative' part of my portfolio to the 'med/LT hold' section. I too see enormous potential.
