Could we not apply some Eroxon to the share price, you know, firm things up a bit
Interesting post Kdonkey .that confirms my thoughts as to the probable situation.thanks.
I lived in Dubai for several years and there are lots of independant pharmices, but BinSina were the biggest by far.
Even though it's a very conservatice country you could always get "sex" related products very easily, by that I mean condoms, lub etc, not sex toys
The men are also reserved when it comes to stuff like that either. There is no embrassement level, unlike us Brits.
Personally I think the product will do well in the Middle East (as I also worked in Saudi and no real inibitions there either).
The hardest part is advertising the prodcut, as for me that is were the issue will lay. The media in the Middle East is very restrictive and conserative. You can see a violent/horror film at 9am. But you won't see a boob or a bum ever - well I didn't.
Thanks bucolic and milktrayman for the replies. appreciated. perhaps we will get news of retail outlet availability in due course. anyway, another brick in the wall which fum is building, imo.
BinSina has 100 + stores I believe across the country
The.Italian, Broomrigg on ADVFN posted this: "Steeped in history, BinSina Pharmacy is the first licensed pharmacy in Dubai which was setup in 1965. A destination for those looking for Health & Beauty, BinSina Pharmacy has locations conveniently close to shoppers in malls and residential communities across the UAE."
Good points raised , every region I suspect has a different culture and attitudes towards these things . Having said that, having travelled to a number of these conservative countries i would say that any product which enhances manhood performance are very publicly available in almost every shop and market stall in the souks and bazaars in this region openly.
But the RNS could have elaborated a bit on the potential market size in the UAE and the size of presence of the pharmacist company that we have struck a deal with
Ah! Ananda has totally reverted to his Ananda personality. I guess he was banned under that name because he would often call people a bunch of c's and worse if they dared to suggest that his fanatical ramping was over the top in any way. He was almost as bad as LiarBOoth apart from being polar opposite in viewpoint. If you're reading this, Ananda, why don't you migrate over to ADVFN - there are a real bunch of c's over there who are intent on bashing this stock, e.g. theButler, MDI, Glavey, Lewis Winthorpe et al. Or are you afraid of real opposition?
Two points on today's RNS.i would have liked to see some description of BinSina pharmacy (e.g. its reach and presence) for those of us,like me, not familiar with UAE pharmacies.
secondly, the RNS refers to online availability.are there any cultural or social objections to a product like eroxon being sold in retail outlets in the UAE? BinSina does have retail outlets, so just wondering if there has to be some limitation of sale outlets. not suggesting there is any restriction, just enquiring if anyone familiar with the emirates could comment.
Says cheerfully the xmas grinch :) pls buy my bad then!
You guys are the most miserable bunch of c's I have ever come across.
Moan moan moan
Sell up and move on if you cant handle it
Sad
Everything is a marketing tool. From the staff handbook to the TV advert to the invite to the office Christmas party. Every output tells someone what your company is all about. And in the absence of any other PR or basic marketing from Futura, they really do have to make the most of what they do put out.
Barder's family Christmas cards must be a real hoot.
"It's Christmas. Techniclly another year has passed since we last wrote. We will write again at the next Christmas. Signed, James Barder and immediate family."
... and the crowd goes wild :( , what gives?
Yes, I partly agree Banzai.
RNS is not primarily for marketing, but a notification.
But there is no harm in notifying share holders and future investors that this company thinks it's onto a winner.
Therefore instilling confidence and investment.
Read the RNS again.
"Futura announces Eroxon is available online in UAE"
Just a couple of extra words would of made the RNS pop.
How about " Futura is PLEASED to announced that Eroxon is available online in UAE. This is the first market in the Middle East to stock the product and will be available for X million men.
It piques the interest a bit more.
Good news, I really see this taking off in the UAE
An RNS is not a marketing tool. It's not meant to sizzle or be imaginative.
PR and marketing will sizzle, on other channels, when the regional deployment is in place. This is the first excellent step of that regional deployment.
The fact that there are no numbers means we are spared the endless speculation on how many needs sold to meet the number, what's the likely margin, why is the dreamed up margin different to margin in Europe.... ad-nauseum
Revenues will come on a concise RNS of there own in due course. Keep the faith.
For me... Great RNS!
It is rare to come across a company that appears to be completely devoid of imagination, self-promotion and positivity. JB is extremely dour as a personality and this comes across in communication. My 5-year granddaughter could have written a more exciting RNS than this one. Anyone would think that they donāt want anyone to know about Eroxon. I will say it again, this comes across as amateur and that they are not savvy enough to communicate to the market which is very irritating indeed. The irony is that most companies without much to shout about over-exaggerate, but we do the opposite!! Hire someone smart with a marketing bent who understand the value of effective communication before you miss the boat!!
This is still the Barder effect.
Of course the RNS itself is basically like someone being forced to apologise and doing so in as few words as possible, through gritted teeth while looking anywhere bit at the person they're talking to.
But also, he recently said come back in 2025 for profits so the market knows these new sales won't put us in profit. Why would they buy in?
If this was America there would be a dozen legal firms proposing a class action.
Wish they would stop releasing RNSs , it's destroying the share price.
Neighbouring Saudi Arabia next? Report in August suggested Q4 launch this year for Saudi with full marketing campaign by Labatec. Some estimates that 10% of males there have ED. (20 million male population). UAE male population just shy of 7 million and unusually 68% of population there are male.
In the hope that someone from Futura PR / marketing reads this..
Come on!!
Sell the sizzle, not the sausage!!!
Canāt believe this isnāt moving upā¦.. come on FUMā¦. Take a bit of youāre own medicine
What a **** RNS! Would have been nice to now the approx revenue expected!
Great RNS and market to be in š
Really positive news !
Big profit there. Ā£36 for 4 tubes!! Hope FUM has some of that.
