George Frangeskides, Chairman at ALBA, explains why the Pilbara Lithium option ‘was too good to miss’. Watch the video here.
NWG transactions in it's own shares has given me a laugh. I've just woken up from a vivid dream where they bought so many of their own stock that they passed a 50% threshold and had to launch a full bid for themselves. Impossible, I know, but makes me wonder if any other company has ever done anything remotely similar
Could we not apply some Eroxon to the share price, you know, firm things up a bit
After all the good news about Futura, how is it even possible we are sitting at 40p
Not so long ago, Safestocks reckoned any takeover bid on Seeing would need to be around the 1.00 gbp mark. Anybody think this was / is realistic ?
Sounds a little bit like 'The man who gave the Beatles away'
TEK needs a charge of gunpowder up it's jacksy. Anything to get it moving once again.
No matter how good the content of a SEE rns, nothing ever seems to hike the share price. What will it take to get it motoring. I'd be quite happy to see it back at 12p or am I dreaming it was once that high
Magpies1862 : Thanks again !! I'll never get any work done at this rate. Got them all lined up on youtube for the week ahead :-))
***Sorry, that was to Magpies1862.... & Russ Abbott
I Wish you had'nt provided a link.... Just spent half an hour watching and roaring with laughter !! Brilliant stuff
Back in Feb '21, Bank of America said 'BUY' at a shade under 35 quid !! Do brokers ever get their calls right. Anybody know where I can find a table of brokers who consistently call it right ?
But..... Jim Slater died in 2015. Is he communicating from beyond ?
10p is not really pie in the sky. Probably in 20 - 25 years maybe., and who knows what products are in the future which could provide a spectacular return
Surely all the bad news is already priced in ?
ITV appoint new chair. Next RNS will be to tell us they've appointed a new table, a new cupboard, and a new sideboard, before changing their name to IKEA
Absolutely savage. Company posts sparkling results and gets 30% wiped off. Feel like I've fallen down a rabbit hole somewhere in Alice's wonderland. Maybe if they'd posted a huge loss the SP would have rocketed ?
And some big sells too
Hi guys, I'm dithering on buying into NSF and missed out on the rocket-like rise this week. What held me back was confusion regarding the relationship between NSF and Amigo. Is NSF owned or part owned by Amigo ? Both seem to be mentioned here at times, and both tend to rise and fall in tandem. Any guidance appreciated.
If NWG reinstates dividend payments, and decides to repay last years withheld payments, would those like myself who have just recently bought in, be eligible for both lots, or would they have to have been on the register last year to qualify for last years payment ? Any opinions appreciated.
Hi, first ever posting here. I've held IQE since they were a lowly 24p, but for some inexplicable moment of madness, did't bail out when they touched 1.80. Hindsight is indeed wonderful. Now I wonder about all those tool machines IQE have at Newport, and can't help but think of that episode of Only Fools & Horses, where Rodney buys a job lot of broken lawn mower engines....
