Good to see the new non exec director Mr.DW already has a reasonable holding in FUL
Trading statement to be announced by DP at today's AGM looking very bullish. Keep it up :-)
I guess that the brand needs to grow quickly in order to maintain momentum and debt is relatively cheap. Totally trust the guys in charge
Norbert have you read the annual report? Are you happy with it? Expansion is ongoing, but increase in debt, hmmm.
Rolling out a couple of more stores so looks like expansion continues. Westbourne Grove and Bromley. Posh nosh and suburbia
I wonder if the hierarchy will be meeting soon to discuss whether expansion should go ahead in light of the Brexit vote...
Seems the market likes this a little but it's totally under the radar at the moment. Pizza Express sold for £900m with 10x the restaurants so I guess we're nearing fair value
http://www.investegate.co.uk/fulham-shore-plc--ful-/rns/final-results/201607140700091336E/ Expansion has hit cash flow on first glance but they confirm that the bank is supportive. Massive jump in sales
Sorry, 23 stores plus 3 coming soon on website! 26 stores. thats fast expansion. At least 15 in the next year
There is a queue at every one everyday i go past 2 on commute and theres one in city broadgate circle packed. 23 stores and counting. opening 15 next year. D page took pizza express from 50 -250 in 10 years (a while ago now), knows every decent landlord out there. pizza's so cheap, decent staff so sites must be good deals for where they are. can't see them letting go for less than 50/60 stores. that will be 100m. 2 years max. strada sold for 2.6m per site in most expensive UK chain purchase. currently franco manca valued at 3 as people who know what i know are holding 1m stock
I soured the share price :(
:-(
Haha! I'd say you might be disappointed then :D FM is sourdough so thin and chewy, I think they're lovely but I'm biased
I hope the pizza's are better than pizza express. Took the family went to the pizza express place in Newquay last year. Was not impressed at all. We just said, we've tried it, we know to stick with pizza hut from now on.
Hiya, yeah I'm from SE London. I work for a company that provides fixtures for the new stores. David Page has done it before with Pizza Express and I think he has the hunger to do it again. He'd not bother at all if he didn't want to prove himself again. My guess is that we'll have 50 locations within 2 years and eventually 150+. Short term I don't see why we can't see a rise to mid 20s which would be a nice return
Thanx Norbert, keep up the comments. Are you from London area. Do you have first hand knowledge of Franco Manca?
Two directors hold 2/3rds of the shares. Tight as you like
Volumes greatly increased today, there's not a lot of shares in public hands so could see a sharp rise once stocks go low.
Kilburn opens very soon, Kentish town within a fortnight. Will Brexit discourage tourism and encourage dining out? Will the bad summer create a bit of Stay-cationing?
That's the key brand in the group. Not sure I get the Real Greek brand and expansion is muted. Someone of iii mentioned last year that David Page will be looking at bringing another fledgling chain in to the group, suggesting Patty & Bun. I work in an ancillary business in the development of new stores for Franco Manca and Patty & Bun and haven't seen any correlation in the management or design side of the businesses so this would be a surprise if it happened.
Franco Manca's appeal is not waning slightly on the high street. New branches in Kentish Town and Kilburn opening in highly prominent sites this month. Kentish Town is right opposite the tube and Kilburn is 20yds from the overground station. I think it's signalling a switch from more low key sites like the Balham and Ealing sites which are slightly slightly away from the town centres. The company are pressing home this brand and sooner rather than later were going to start to know all about them. The sites are getting bigger too which I guess will help profitability. Plenty of directorial support too and David Page is old hand at making a mint from the restaurant industry. Lots of potential at current share price
9 x The Real Greek and 17 x Franco Manca + 1 new Bukowski Grill franchise opening early 2016.
Hi can anyone tell me which restaurants FUL owns please? thanks
Does skier own this company, or has noone else ever heared of it?
Was going to chuck 10k in here day 1... but bottled it.. would be up near 300% now!
