Absolutely agree Aurora, there has to be a consortium of companies, it will be too big and expensive to develop for one, but I believe it will be headed up by ExxonMobil or a subsidiary of. IMV the Russians will be happier with Exxon than BP and if they are happy it will definitely happen whomever is elected.
SR - You're really clutching at straws. See if you can find an example out of the millions of business worldwide where a CEO has been ousted because the rest of the board side with the representing legal company. They just sack the legal representatives and use a different firm.
I agree Arsenal there must be a deadline if there is to be a pre election agreement. If they renege then there is a full month to get back in the anti GG band wagon in the press ant TV.
"They promised to deal again but pulled out again" yada yada yada
good luck folks
Doc 39 quotes irreconcilable differences and no correspondence in relation to zz .no correspondence sounds familiar .
On ZM leaving that was 1st posted by JJ C around 3 weeks back.
So maybe we are close on something finally being released. Lets hope so & it reads positive.
remember we always seem to be two or three weeks behind the news
Perhaps FRR are hedging their bets?
With Zaza being a tad outspoken about the government, it may be difficult for them to sit down with him.......so he stepped back!
Should the opposition win the election he could suddenly reappear.
Its too big for 1 Big
Eastbern
Look at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kashagan_Field I worked on this field 20 years ago this is the size we are talking about and it needs many companies to make it happen Im hoping we se a 10% Rus partner that way everyone saves face and we can crack on as Im bored now and need a pay back after god knows 12 years
ExxonMobil
This is just pure speculation on my part. But could it be that a big oily is involved - making a move to buy up the 1% + gas data from FRR, and the rights to all of FRR's old hunting grounds from the GG, all in one go? Probably just wishful thinking on my part, and not to be taken too seriously. But it would be yet another explanation for the current silence and - er - I suppose it could just be so?
Got to agree with that but Ive always been on the positive side. Zaza IMO has been moved out for a big reveal as you cant have the negative guy about on a big reveal just leading up to elections
One thing stands out for me: after everything, we are still not hearing - in the definitive - that FRR has been sunk. No-one, anywhere, can provide proof/ evidence that - at this moment/ by this time - we are finally finished.
ZM has been our man on the telly. He has taken it to them. He brought this fight out into the open and made it pretty much impossible to win for GD, especially by bringing the US establishment in board. By doing so, everything else in Georgia comes into fuller veiw - including the upcomgin elections. ZM and FRR had to play hard. Haven't witnessed anything more fierce on AIM.
ZM not offiically being in the picture any more is not an accident. Is not incidental. He wouldn't be leaving for no reason, after everything. And I don't see ZM and SN falling out either. Their interests have been absolutely aligned. Indeed, if SN didn't have such a sharp native Georgian on board, he would've lost his entire investment here.
Fingers crossed for us all!
lol
more like steve rubs the magic lantern and everything disappears
forgot to say shouting " you got to innit to winnit"
haha
Tsbs, deal about to be done and then Steve rubs the magic lantern and guess what........
Out pops Zaza holding millions of golden tickets (just like the lottery adverts)
:))
Tsbs
lets hope so m trouble is from day one of delisting most time ps there have been a development we have generally seen a good reason behind it only find the truth further down the line to be negative towards our cause . We are well overdue a good break .
Personally I still believe Zaza going is a tactic to frustrate the liquidators investigations .
i dont believe zaza and steve wouldve fallen out about which direction the company should go
im hoping zaza has gone because a deal is now done. im hoping its jrs 10b deal
Lets hope its not dribble that is filling the glass up....
Agree on that glass, is not far off empty. It does feel overall though that there is a bit more in the glass then a couple of weeks ago.
So just maybe over next 4/5 weeks it might have filled up a good bit more.
Enjoy
We've come a long a way from Dustin Aro's 'low-hanging fruit' and his gushing enthusiasm for our fracking potential while super majors were apparently hovering in the wings; to Justice Kawaley trying to bang heads together in the Caymans and later Steve Nicandros hiding behind the sofa in his Houston house with lawyers trying to serve notice on him. Now, we are without Zaza and hoping for the contortions of Georgian geopolitics to flex themselves in our favour. Wings and prayers come to mind. What a journey ! Can it really be that there is a rabbit in the bottom of Frontera's hat ? Is everything we have seen over the past two years just a legal game of chess ? Or corporate folly ? Even if there has been an invisible steering hand behind all this, there are no guarantees that it can steer us to victory. The Anaklia port consortium couldn't pull it off . Something has to give very soon but we all remain clueless as to what that will be. Glass most certainly close to empty but always ready to be surprised. GLA
tsbs1 - The Co-ordination Committee.
IMHO any void in Georgia can be filled by the Bryce D. Linsenmayer and SN (the Co-ordination committee), plus 'a US senator who is a great friend of Georgia.' (copied from yesterday's post @ 0545)
i think zaza and steve at loggerheads and zaza leaving is way off the mark
whose going to fight for us now that zaza has gone- steve nicandros hardly
if zaza has left because of differing opinions then we might as well shut up shop
So is the real reason for the delays that have appeared now in the Texas court because a deal is really close? ZM and SN don’t want to hand over any shares, because they know how much they will soon be worth. They’d rather clinch a deal and pay outrider/SH and others off after the event. The court case would therefore be about us slowing things down and SH trying to push things forward.
Perhaps we need to start looking out for a little red FRR dot again. Or perhaps a little red Exxon dot...
On as far as ZM, is concerned on attacking GD through the media. It was needed, but it did look like he might have been trying to push it, just a bit to far.
Let's hope there have been some serious talks going on & something positive comes out of it all.
